The work included the hull, above and below the rail line, everything on the topside - including the decks and isinglass. Also, because he was so conscientious, he came back a few days later to wrap up some details he wanted to finish off. (He had another client scheduled, so I didn't mind the wait.) Absolute Marine showed and/or took the boat out and never put the cover back on correctly so with all the rain it ripped the cover and now we have to replace. What a IDIOT!!!! ITS RAINED in Vero Beach for the past 10 days. We immediately decided to remove the boat from the property. The owner said well I can get a wet vac and see if I can get the some of the water out of the cabin. We now have been told by others, they have taken their boat here to be fixed, suddenly after, they have so many more problems with their boat then before bringing it here. STAY AWAY!!!!

Brought our boat to have impeller changed. Matt not only did not fix issue but in process broke…read moreplug wire and replaced plugs which was not agreed upon. Received boat back only to find that plug wire was broke and impeller not working. Contacted Matt who first thing accused me of breaking the plug wire even though I didn't open the cowling until after the boat was misfiring. Brought it back to him to fix the original request. He took it for a test ride per the invoice, only to find out while texting him that the test ride was just putting the trailer in the water and starting the boat for a $95 fee. He took video of it at idle barely pumping water and again did not fix the issue. I showed him two videos of it not pumping water and he challenged them like I faked them. I also had a friend on board who is also a mechanic just to get his advise. Matt discounted him as we were sabotaging his work. I have no reason to sabotage anyone's work. I just went there and paid my $462 to have an impeller replaced and all I got was a run around and grief. I have disputed this with my credit card and may have to get an attorney involved just to get my money back. This is the first time I have ever posted a negative review on the web and hopefully my last. This is going on BBB next if I don't get resolution with credit card prior to getting legal advice. I am sure Matt will respond that he did everything right and offered to look at it a 3rd time. I am sorry but I don't get paid $95 an hour and don't have time to go back and forth to a shop when obviously my time is not valuable to them.
