I found Big Kahuna Marine and read how personal they were and how well they took care of their customers. They took care of the trailer like it was his own. They did a great job and made sure everything was perfect and safe. Later I needed some cosmetic work on the fiberglass due to previous owners lack of care. The swim platforms were damaged and the top sides above the rub rails were cracked on both sides. Alex and his team did an outstanding job and it looks brand new. I expect they are successful because of the nearly captive audience of people staying at Safe Harbor marina. I honestly don't understand how any place stays in business when they rarely pick up the phone, and don't return voicemails. I definitely felt like I had to chase them down to throw money at them. Beyond the communication issues, my boat was brought in for an overheating issue. They replaced a raw water pump, and said they tested everything, and the boat was ready to go to Daytona. We didn't make it out of the Ft Pierce inlet before the engine overheated massively and filled the interior with steam. We cut it off and waited for SeaTow to drag us back to the dock. There were other issues that caused the overheating, so they don't get all the blame, but it's my opinion that their "testing" of the repair wasn't sufficient. I did have a positive experience with Nicole. She's super nice, and on point. She's the reason for the second star.
