The main shop girl is an implant from Maine, so she got my punny tattoo and was able to relay the joke and any and all questions we had! The moment I got on the table I got bid by mosquitoes. The towels lint and sands got all over on my body made it a not so soft and smooth experience. I got charged way more than I should have. They are great people, their salon was spotless, my wife remarked it was the cleanest salon she had ever been in. We would recommend them to anyone in the Playa del Carmen area. It was relaxing, but it did take much longer than I expected. I had planned 1 to 1.5 hrs, but it took closer to 2 to 2.5 hours as I had to call ahead to my next appt to let them know that I would be late. I would go back, but I'd plan to have an open afternoon. Others were coming in for massage appts and stated how much they enjoyed them that they had to come back again in the same week. Good to know for our next visit.

You will not get her level of quality in some "resort spa". Additionally those places are so fake and pretentious. Give me Veronica over a resort spa any day of the week. Veronica is so cool, like the person you'd actually like to have drinks with. She's got stories for days, which is nice because you don't think about the waxing. If you are a Karen, just go to a resort. Don't mess it up with Veronica for the rest of us. I can't believe some of those reviews from people who don't know how to follow direct and simple directions.
