I wouldn't give them 1 star!! WARNING DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I was in OfficeMax 3 times today to make 50 copies for MY BUSINESS the first 2 times I waited a MINIMUM of 20-40 mins where I walked out WITHOUT copies twice! Since I was from out of town and this was the closest one to where I was working I went back for a third time. Third time was definitely not a charm!!!! There were several employees again and 1 customer after 15 min I sat on a shelve. Another 15 minutes and a customer walked in for a pick up and they helped her immediately. I was told to e mail the file which I did, then was told they didn't get it. I emailed it again and more customers walked in and were helped I sat down on a shelve. I finally got up asked another employee where I could get copies and asked about the UPS store where the employee told me no it closed st 6. The 2nd clerk now decides to help another customer at the register. I finally loose my temper and the lady clerk wants to try to get into an argument. Then they couldn't decide how much it would be. Seriously isn't this THEIR business!!!! Horrible horrible horrible service! read more

Super friendly and helpful employees! We were greeted immediately upon walking in, and one guy took us to the aisle we needed. Two more staff members offered their help within 3 minutes of each other. For a big-box store, they actually seem to care! They also have perks if you buy printer cartridges (iTunes or Starbucks giftcards, free paper, etc), but I'd rather just see cheaper-priced cartridges. Only downside is I think I've been in 3 times recently, and each time I've had to wait about 1-2 minutes for a cashier to open up a register. read more

I usually go to the Officemax off of Cheyenne Mountain that is next to Target. I like this one a lot better! I was only asked once if I needed any help and employees did not bug me as much as the ones at the other OfficeMax. It felt like walking into a Best Buy there! End caps have a lot of great clearance items and they really are sale items. Seems like there's a larger selection of items here and more to choose from. No complaints and I'll be coming to this location more often! read more

My wife walked up to the counter where an employee was standing and leaning against a counter not working. We needed to make 10 copies - 5 copies of each of 2 separate files. We asked for help and the girl simply said "no, it will be 3 days because there are 8 orders ahead of you!" This employee would not so much as take the thumb drive and look at the document to see what we needed. She was not working on any of the supposed orders ahead of us!! Why is this sort of customer service accepted at your store?? This is completely unacceptable!!! read more

I had bought the wrong ink (my fault clearly) and I went to go see if I could exchange it for the correct one, my receipt had expired by 3 days (my fault again) but the ink wasn't opened or anything so I thought they would let me just exchange it, but the manager refused to let me. The other employee was willing to help me but the manager came over and was super rude to me and stated "well that's your fault you bought the wrong ink" and "your receipt is long expired". I was so surprised by her attitude towards me. I ended up just walking away and I will never go back to that store. I work in customer service myself and I would never tell a customer "well it's your fault". Even if she would have been nicer about it I wouldn't be writing this review. I mean yes it was my fault I didn't exchange the ink sooner but I would've liked to been approached differently. read more

I have been to Office Max 3 times for copying needs for my daughters wedding. The staff members were incredible !!! They went out if their way to help me, helped me with choices. Tried to return a $50 ink cartridge that I did open and try to install only to realize I had the wrong one. I took the cartridge and the receipt only to be told we don't take open boxes back. It was one day from the time I bought the ink to the time I tried to return it. The woman was very rude. I don't know about her, but to me $50.00 is not something I can just throw away. I will NEVER do business with this company again, and I suggest that everyone go to Staples. The same ink was $10.00 cheaper, and I was assured if it was the wrong one I could bring it back for a FULL refund. If a company has a return policy like OfficeMax/Office Depot I would suggest the put a large sign stating their policy where you pick up the ink, and again at the register. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR MONEY STOLEN! Probably the worst store I have ever been to in my life. They charged my debit card 3 times for my purchase and completely refuse to do anything about it. Their customer service rep by the name of Katie, completely and utterly blew me off. This was after multiple phone calls and I printed out my bank statement to bring in. I will be filing a police report and probably taking them to court. read more

My Girlfriend and I went to purchase two of the Lenovo Laptop computers, the service was very good that night. We left the Lenovo laptop upgraded to windows 10. I have an older laptop, running windows 7 or eight, that I wanted the Geek Squad to upgrade to windows 10 for me. I took the older laptop and the new Lenovo for my girlfriend in for the upgrades and returned one of the Lenovo laptops on the promise that mine would be upgraded to windows 10, they assured me that it would not be a problem and to check back in about 24 hours. 24 hours later she and I drove across town to pick up the two computers only to find that her new computer was ready but my older computer was not even close to being completed. They asked for and were granted another 24 hours. I called the store before I left work and was assured that the computer was running windows 10 and running just fine, so I drove to the store, picked up the computer and drove across town to the house. I got home and booted up the computer, it appeared to be running windows 10 so I thought that was worth the time I had left it with the Geek Squad. I tried to access the internet and to my utter amazement the new and improved, working like a charm, upgraded to windows 10 computer did not see my WiFi in the house. So I thought to myself that I will just go into the start menu and see if a connection was turned off or something simple. That was when I got the second shock of the afternoon, the windows menu button did absolutely nothing, Oops. I called the store manager and she suggested I connect to the router via an either net cable to help the computer make the connection, I did as she asked and after the connection via either net was made and the computer saw the name of my WiFi I thought cool let me unplug the either net cable, Yet another shock the computer did not see the WiFi connection. I loaded everything back in the car and drove back across town to have it fixed again only to find out the tech that did most of the work never checked the wireless card, or tried to open the windows menu with the onscreen button or the keyboard button. Remember, I was told that everything was working fast and fine before I left the store an hour earlier. The manager called in her ace computer tech and he assured me that he would have the issues resolved in about two hours, not wanting to drive back and forth I waited in the store for my computer. After two and a half hours I left and went home. I called the store this morning and the manager assured me she knew just what needed to be done when I called at 8:30am. It is now 1:15pm and I have yet to hear from her. My guess, they do not know what they are doing upgrading a windows 7 or 8 computer to windows 10. I have said a couple of times my computer is a windows 7 or 8 because there seems to be some confusion among the techs as to what operating system was on the computer. When we bought the computer it booted up with tiles, a sign that it is running window 8 because windows 7 did not use tiles, however the first tech to boot my computer swears it was running windows 7. That should have been my first clue. By the way, her Lenovo is working fine, running windows 10. read more
