Possibly I disrupted their other priorities as I was at the register to pay for my $50 in groceries and I also needed a pack of cigarettes. During checkout, the cashiers asked me for ID. My license was expired because I didn't renew it yet and they said that they cannot sell me the cigarettes. This may not mean anything, because my license was legitimately expired, but I'm a senior citizen. I went out to my car where my friend was waiting and asked him to run in and buy my cigarettes (he is also a senior citizen) with his valid license. When he went in, the same 2 Karen's cashiers asked him if he was buying the cigarettes for me and they refused to sell them to him. Wow. Where and in what business does any of this make any sense? Prejudice is ugly.

In this day of everyone calling to complain. I try to make it a habit to call and compliment when it calls for it. We had trouble locally in the city trying to find 4" by 4" size jewels for a Boardwalk Empire themed wedding (the part where Nucky opens the chest of Jewels to give away at a party). After 3 hours of searching link after link I did find someone who actually makes these. I was able to convince me to give them there store discount rather than having me order to the stores that they supply to. The lady I spoke with was super friendly. Shipping was a bit high as they like to ensure their packages but came in a timely manner to Canada.
