As I walked in, I realized how big the place was and how many different products they have. I like the signs that show what is in each section, like at the grocery store! I gave this store three stores not for their customer service (which sucks), but for usually having what I need when I need it. The selection however, has been getting thinner as time goes on. They just don't carry as many products as they used too. Office Depot is pricey when compared to Amazon, Walmart and Target. Whenever I go there, I make a print out from Amazon, Walmart or Target so they price match, as per their policy. Unfortunately, I always have to ask for a manager because whichever clerk is running the register, they wish to argue with me about the price match policy, which by the way is listed on Office Depot's website. Online purchase of a software package was a dud! EMAIL has not arrived with link for downloading the software I bought at 2:30 today. The item is software that I can download. I have already had 2 chats about this item today and started my 3rd. 1) online system would not let me purchase because it was "out of stock" but it's software, so not a physical thing to stock. System finally allowed purchase. Strangely still shows as backordered. 2) Asked when I'd get the link to download, as I've done this before and it was immediate. Chat response was: should be delivered within 4 hours. 3) 6 hours later since purchase and no email with link to download. The system still shows it is BACKORDERED!! That may be why the link to download has not been sent. The system still thinks its sending a physical thing. This software download process is a Big Fail! read more

My copy order was not ready in spite of an email stating it was ready for pick up. Manager was simply indifferent at best -- no apology and indicated that he did not care. Store is seriously understaffed, and I have alternatives, so I shall never return. Too bad, because OD's copy service used to be the best. The system had made a mistake on delivery and lost our purchase. He took over the problem, personally, made a call and stuck with us until it was resolved. Are you aware that their furniture (bought online at least) arrives disassembled? There is no label stating assembly required on the description of the item I bought. I went back to check and while some bookcases state that you will be putting the piece together, the one I purchased did not. The reason I gave three stars was because the person who answered my call did try to help by giving me a company that OD contracts with to assemble furniture, (In this case a $100 bookcase would cost $70 to assemble) or the chance to return the bookcase. He tried. I suggested that notifying folks that assembly was required would be a good and useful addition to their online shopping. He told me he was a peon and that would not be listened to coming from him. That was kindof a statement as well about OD. read more

Thats where the CLUSTER begins. They give you a receipt that doesn't actually note the 2$ per unit you are supposed to get back. THEN they require you to create a profile and do a bunch of the crap you don't want to do... like carry a card, give them all your personal info and remember another damned login and password. I just had my wedding invitations printed and it was such a great experience. Sam helped me print everything and he was very nice and helpful. They didn't carry paper in the print area that was good enough quality with no watermark so I bought some pretty paper in their paper area and had the invitations printed on that. They came out even better than I envisioned. The whole process took maybe 15 minutes to print 100 invitations and info cards. read more

I placed an order online for printout for reviewer. When I ordered it online I had to modify it to what it different from what I wanted which is the website suggested since it says it was 300pages. 5 minutes after I scheduled to pick it up the copier person calling me saying that the manual is too big and the comb-bound will not fit it cuz of their machine. I had to wait for 1more hour. When I came to the store to pick it up, the comb-bound that holds the folder is big enough for 500pages. When I tried to ask and inquire they tried to lie and doesn't seem to care for the customer service. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone unless you want to be disappointed. read more

I don't know why this store gets such bad reviews. Everyone has their off days I'm sure. I've gotten nothing less than extraordinary service out of this place for the last year at least. The manager Tom took care of a defective HP ink cartridge with ZERO hassle or resistance. I came by today and they were out of an XL capacity cartridge I needed. He offered me 2 regular cartridges for the same price as the high capacity model. Again, ZERO HASSLES with this store. It'd be very difficult to get me to go elsewhere based on price alone. An added bonus, the cashier, Kimberly was so cute it made my knees buckle. She was a sweetheart to boot! read more

This place is the most uncooperative store I've ever been in. I went in to buy an Apple Ipad and the clerk told me they didn't have one for me to look at because "If we put one out there customers will damage it" How do they expect to sell anything. The clerks have been rude on many occacions. The LAST time I was in the store, I wanted to buy a Norton annti-virus progran. They offered a $50 rebate. Great! Only I never got anything back. I filled out the papers as directed and saw that the rebate was on a debit card for the store not in cash. Then I sent the papers in as directed and never got the debit card. Well I've had good experience and bad experience... Depending on which staff member I got. One major issue is that staff at this location don't seem to understand its own reward system. They gave me wrong information (when I asked if I have to spend $10 in order to get ink recycle rewards, someone said no, so I did not get my rewards...) at one time... Then this time one guy told me that my reward will show up next month so I went back and there is nothing in my account! There were four guys in the printing area and when I asked when the reward will show up? They were like looking around, not able to answer my question at all, just told me "the system is not showing up. And... Just wait..." Without providing any solution... read more

I want to start by saying that I have printed photos twice in the past here & have had no problems. I needed photos printed for an art show by Tuesday evening. Sunday I placed an order online, received a confirmation email, and went in to pick up my prints Monday afternoon. I was told that my order had not been received so I went back home and placed the order again, called to confirm (twice) and eventually just emailed my files to an employee to be printed that night. Tuesday morning I go in to pick them up & I was presented with terrible, unacceptable prints. Someone had literally written on one of my photos!! There were color streaks through all of them, tiny creases and marks in each one, and they hadn't even been cut properly. I explained this to the employee who was very apologetic at first & offered to reprint the ones that were messed up. After explaining that they were all poorly printed & all 6 needed to be reprinted, he quickly backed off & started saying things like "the printer doesn't print solid colors well" as if it wasn't possible to get a half decent print. I couldn't accept them (much less pay $30 for them) & had to walk out and print somewhere else. DO NOT GET PHOTOS PRINTED HERE THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT CRAFTSMANSHIP IS AND DO NOT CARE HOW IT TURNS OUT. read more
