Most importantly they had got in a job interview in a matter of days. I got phoned before the interview to wish me luck and after to see how it went. I subsequently got the job and even got a congratulations on your new role card in the post. I would recommend this agency to anybody, even those that like me don't generally like them.

I contacted Hays at the beginning of the year regarding a post I wanted to apply for. The response time was quick, so quick in fact that my interview was arranged the next day (obviously it helped that the client didn't hold things up). The interview went well and I was offered the job. Hays act as an employer as well as an agency so my payment is dealt with through them rather than the client. Payment is made weekly, which is always useful, and timesheets are submitted via an online system which is much more convenient than a traditional paper based one. The service I received from Hays was good - friendly and professional and they were able to answer my questions. This was one of the better experiences I have had with recruitment agencies!

I am also not a big fan of having to go through my work history and basic skills. At least here the people seem to be really nice. The office is very unassuming from the outside but inside its warm and friendly, not decked out to look like a space age office. I didn't end up getting a job through them, purely because I found something else before hand. I tend to go to all the agencies I can in a couple of days and it just so happened that they got there first. When I am next in need of a job I will be sure to give them a visit.

I went in to register last week because I applied for a specific role on Reed. The registration process itself was completely pain free, notbwalways the case I assure you, everyone was really lovely and Claire, who helped me, was absolutely brilliant. I secured an interview a week later, got tonnes of help to prepare me for the interview, and found out today that I have the job. Yay!!! I honestly could not fault these guys on anything.
