After moving to Houston from Southern California, I tried out two other salons before finding Alyssa and her team. Let me tell you, it was worth the search! Finding someone who excels in understanding color, selecting quality extensions, and installing them perfectly is like finding the holy grail, and Alyssa is the trifecta. Not only is Alyssa exceptionally talented, but her personality and energy make her truly special. She radiates life and always takes the time to ask how you're doing. I've never seen her in a bad mood, and her positive energy is contagious. It's refreshing to have a stylist who genuinely cares about her clients' well-being. One thing I love about Alyssa is her unique sense of style. I always look forward to seeing the different outfits she wears--it adds a touch of creativity and excitement to the salon experience. The salon itself has a fun and upbeat atmosphere with no drama, which I appreciate. Alyssa's grace and professionalism as a business owner are commendable. I consider myself lucky to have Alyssa as my stylist. She not only possesses incredible skills but also creates a welcoming environment that makes every visit enjoyable. If you're searching for a stylist who will go above and beyond to meet your hair extension needs while exuding positivity, look no further than Alyssa at Extend Hair Extensions & Color Bar. Also a special shout out to the dream team that really makes the salon work behind the scenes, my hair experience would not be the same without Mallelyn, Reagan and Bella. They wash, blow dry and curl like machines and I always leave feeling like a million bucks. Last but not least, Mayra always works her magic to find me a great appt spot and Martha always keep everything so spotless. Truly an amazing staff!

Besides all, she is the sweetest and friendliest human being in the world. That 3-4 hours of installation will make you feel like 20 minutes. Time will fly like crazy! I usually buy the hair she is using from Amazon as my desire(usually similar but different shades for the style) , then I don't think about the rest and she is putting them on with her professional perspective. There's no rushing you from station to station to get you out the door. My nails curve naturally and they take time to shape and protect them from breaking. The products they use don't leave dips in my nails and my nails are so protected that they survive at least a month of daily typing, furniture assembly, and playing with my energetic dog. I don't know about you all, but when it comes to my hair, it's not an expense, it's an investment…read more I mean, it is the crown you never take off after all. :) I have been blessed to have a sister who does hair while being in Hawaii. She knew me so well and of course always had my hair on point. Moving to Texas, I was so nervous about one of my investments that I never had to worry about before. I had to really take the time and research who seemed like a good fit for me and the look I tend to stay with. I was able to find Hintz of Color. I booked my appointment, and I am not going to lie, I was nervous as heck! I like her booking system, so easy to use. Deposit was put for my appointment. For those of you who complain about that, let me just say...appointments are their lively hood, their business, the feeding of their families. If you no show or cancel last minute, the stylist could of had someone else in that spot, potentially losing 100's of $$ at no fault of theirs. So, be courteous and respect this. As a patron, it's important to also think of businesses as if they were your own. Now, enough about that little rant of mine lol So Bunmi's salon is actually far from me. I drive 40 minutes, but remember, investment! :) The salon is upstairs in a shopping center on Bellaire Ave. It is located in the "Phenix Salon Suites." She has her own room and the vibe is there! Ok, so what the room is nice...? We'll, she got the personality and skills to back it up! She was amazing at my first appointment. Made me feel so at ease. She listened as I explained what I wanted and tend to do. She was honest, respectful, and most importantly down to earth! My hair turnout, AMAZING! She achieves the look while keeping my hair healthy! I was so thankful and blessed to meet Bunmi. She is my sister here in the HTX! I highly recommend her and can't say enough positive things about her and her work! I look forward to my hair sessions each time.
