They have several groomers to choose from and if you let Suzanne, the owner pick, you can't go wrong. The shop is super cute and inviting, with a nice seating area if you have to wait for your pup. They always call me before my dogs are ready, so I can head over when it's time to get them. It's easy to schedule an appointment and they use a text system to confirm everything. Their pricing is based on the breed of dog, not their size, which I think is fair. Payment is cash or check only. I've been going here for over a year now. It's one of the few businesses in the Villages that feels like you are party of a community. I buy food for my fur babies and buy food to donate each visit. So what does The Villages do to this amazing business serving the community? It goes ahead and refuses to support them with a reasonable lease and forces the store to close (April 2025). The Villages business model is despicable. The amount of empty store fronts is atrocious in light of its continued rampant building spanning counties and adjacent to a federal prison. Villages, how about supporting things in the community that actually work, like presence, instead of forcing them out. You're all just local yahoos without any sense..

I have been going to this location for years, mostly for nail trims, toys and other miscellaneous…read moreproducts so it's been pretty expensive (which is fine). The girls who have done the trimming along with the rest of the staff have always been wonderful and kind. A special thank you to Ms. Kelly who has taken care of my dogs for years!Sadly, I haven't seen her at my location in a while. ***HOWEVER*** I have been going to this location since a nail trim was $15. I always tipped generously. When they raised the price to $20, I still tipped generously. The price was raised again earlier this year to $25. I have more than one dog (and they are small-breed) and I cannot add a tip to that. I don't know if they continued to raise the price because other customers weren't tipping or what. But IF that's the case, I shouldn't have to pay extra because certain customers may have been "cheap" or simply couldn't afford it for whatever personal reasons. Anyways, I don't know the reason for the price increase but it doesn't really matter. It's the principle. So to the employees... I have always been a generous tipper at ANY business. I'm truly sorry that I'm no longer tipping on top of the new $25 per-dog fee. I just ask that you try to show some understanding and compassion when I pay at the counter instead of looking irritated and judgmental. That was my experience the last time I went to your location and I was pretty disappointed but I would never expect that reaction from the rest of the girls. To that one girl: be kind, it's easy. To the rest of the girls: thank you for always being sweet to my dogs (and to me too).
