We had an incredible time with the UTZs! We went on the guided tour at the Elk Park NC location. I know it doesn't look like much when you pull up but don't let that fool you. You can tell by the steep entrance trail that goes back up to the 80 acres of paths, that the adventure begins on the trail. Our tour guide Jerry was extremely customer service orientated. He made sure we were very comfortable in the vehicles, and would pause and give us tips on the more difficult parts of the ride. He stopped for photo opportunities and even arranged for a video of one of the climbs. He definitely made the difference in our experience. We had originally tried to find a horseback riding place and luckily they were booked! I'm so glad to have found this activity and was able to experience a great thrilling adventure in a beautiful wooded location where the leaves were at their peak. I would highly recommend this to anyone during any time of the year. read more

I absolutely cannot say enough great things about Off the Grid Mountain Adventures and their staff! We have A 15 year old special needs child which can make it difficult to find things the whole family can do. Everyone at Off the grid made sure our child was completely included in everything! They even sat with him so we could do things as well and we didn't have to take turns sitting with him when it came our time to go on the attractions as well. The joy to be able to see him zip line was amazing! And being able to do something that we all loved together was also amazing. If you have the time you should definitely come visit here The staff will go out of their way to make sure you and your family will have an amazing time! read more

My husband and I took our kids on the UTV ride, as a new experience, and we all had a fantastic time!! My 4 y/o wanted to go with one of our guides and he was great and very attentive with her during the ride. The staff were very nice and explained everything in detail so that we had a safe and great experience. The terrain was muddy that day, so the kids enjoyed the opportunity to be able to get dirty on purpose. We would definitely recommend and do it again when we go back to N. Carolina. read more

Upon the recommendation of a friend, we took our family and our son's friend for our youngest son's 10th birthday. We are so glad we did! Everyone had a great time and the kids cannot wait to return. The prices are fantastic and the welcoming and accommodating staff truly takes the time to ensure that everyone is comfortable and safe before operating any equipment. The zip lines were exciting, as was the giant swing, but our personal favorite was the ATV trail ride. read more

10 Off The Grid Mountain Adventures is off the hook crazy fun, the best zipline we have done, and we have zipped all over the planet, their 3,000 footer is insane, where most zips ate cool these are fast, high and the 1st time we didn't have to brake ourselves, way safer, makes the experience better, then the jump off there tower, now that will get you attention, finishing with the giant swing, still laughing. Go Go Go you won't regret it! Best Value Period! read more

Went to Elizabethton, TN and ran the go-karts. They were awesome! Really fast fun track. Well maintained karts and track. Absolutely worth the money! Owners and employees were all great. Very easy to social distance and still have a blast. Lots of other stuff to do there. Zip lines looked awesome but didn't have time to try it out this trip. I will definitely return again and I highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

This was our second time doing the UTV and the new place is fantastic. The ride was equally as fun as our first time last summer, but the view at the top this summer was spectacular! Shout out to Noah our guide. He made sure everyone was safe and had fun. This was a great time for the whole family and we will definitely doing it again when we get back! read more

Bogus. They should literally be taken Off the Grid and forced to do something far more entertaining and safer like maybe a Toxic Waste Disposal Site with a Merry-Go-Round. Worst attraction in the area. Save money and have more fun just goto Dollywood or watch paint dry somewhere and save your money. read more

We did the UTV ride the first day of our vacation on a Sunday. We loved it so much, we came back on our last day of vacation to enjoy another ride. The 2 guys who handled our tours were so helpful and really made it a great experience. Thank you Jerry and Dalton for a fantastic time on our vacation. read more

This is one of the best places to zip line. It's fairly new, but that didn't make it feel any less professional. It's got amazing staff and wonderful prices. My family loved it! It's even good for much younger children, as my group had a four year old who was able to participate. read more
