There's no first time discount, rather it's a preroll for a penny. The preroll normally costs $3. You have to mention it's your first time. There is street parking in the front and more behind the building. When you first walk in you're greeted by security. But you can see through into the shop to see if it's worthwhile. I think it is, they have quite a few options, it's also clean and easy to look for what you need. They did have a lot of gummy brands which is what I always look for. They had Camino, Kanha, and a few others I can't remember. They even had some chocolate chews from Kanha. Every budtender that's helped in the past has been knowledgeable and nice. They had a few deals going on for the mont. I prefer this dispensary over the other Off the Charts location in Palm Springs. read more

Avoid. This place rarely gets good quality concentrates. As other say, products on the shelves are months or even a year old. They sold me some rosin that was 16 months old and moldy. Per California Metrc products over 12 months are supposed to be pulled and invalid for sale. I was respectful in asking for an exchange. Instead of taking accountability or apologizing, they got visibly heated. No need for that - you should have thrown it away at day 365 and the system shouldn't even let you ring it up. The lounge near cat city has better products but the only thing that is off the charts is their prices. Unless it's on sale you're getting ripped off going to OTC. read more

My experience is with the new Off The Charts in North Palm Springs. Love the location. Not enough people working. Waited 40 minutes. Maybe it's a legal thing, but I don't understand why we have to wait while customer's room around the store and really don't know what they want. The bud tender should be able to read the customer. If they don't know what they want go to the next customer. It was around 4 o'clock, which was a busy time. They only had one budtender I probably overreacted when I was in the today, it would be nice if it could be a little quicker in the future. Hopefully you guys could work out all the kinks. Be careful what you buy in that store, ALWAYS check the expiration date, I've been there 2 times and in both times I had bad experiences, the 1st. Time they sold me an expired vape (it had expired 2 months prior) , I went back and told them about it and they said that they will exchange it that time only (that was over 2 months) and I went for a 2nd. Time to get another vape (giving them another chance) but when I left I checked the expiration date because it tasted bitter and this time it said that it was expiring in the following 5 days, so I went back to the store and mentioned that it was expiring in the following days and they said they don't exchange any products. I will not go back to this store again, they only take your money and they don't care if the product is expired or not... By law you have 7 days to exchange it or return the product but they don't implement the rules. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. read more

I would say it's the best dispensary for variety. They are known for deals, hence the weekly flyer. Howevwe today my bystander was not very enthusiastic about the product. I've been going for years that's why I give them 4 stars. I mentioned "are there any sales" on such or such. She seemed not to like that I was looking for a sale, and made several comments about price points. Then she would just gesture her hand to a generic area from her perch. Even gesturing to items on the other side of the store. Ihad just finished a 6 hr shift , I was tired but really wanted to buy a decent amount of product. Very helpful as the product offerings can be a bit overwhelming as here is literally not a lot of room to breathe in this place. Product everywhere. The place can get crowded fast as it's small. Bought a Keef Orange Crush drink -- super sweet. But equally as mellow at 10 grams. Next time I need to ask for the skinny version of this. If that even exist ;-) Also got Wyld Indica Enhanced and THC + CBN gummies. The latter are great for a mellow buzz then off to bed. Story of my life on the road but I digress... All in, good experience. Pricing seems fair and the selection pretty decent. Went to the other store in Indio. They were out of the very specific product we needed even though their website did say it was in-stock. The lady in Indio was nice enough to call this location to ensure they had it. They said yes they had it and they would save it for us. We make the 40 mile, 90 minute round trip to be told no, they were out. In fact, the woman in Palm Springs never even checked when we called. They cram a LOT of different products into this small space and the staff is not only knowledgeable but also very patient. They've got products along a wide price, too. You'll find something if you're on a budget, or something to splurge on if you've got the funds, and lots in between. Spent over $150 only to have the rude lady "helping" me remove not 1, but TWO of my 25% discount lines off of my new customer loyalty card at check out, sighting I had been in before. I told her I had been in before with my partner, yes, but this was my first time purchasing for myself. I had bought nothing here before; my partner had and had their discounts used and removed from their card, not mine. She continued to argue with me by repeating herself, so I capitulated and bought my items, some of which were packaged last year (it's June, people). Needless to say, we won't be spending any more money here, but elsewhere. After talking to multiple people in the industry about my negative experience at Off the Charts, I was told horror stories of unprofessionalism and found out that their storefront was supposedly even raided last year.
