The shop is in the basement of her home in Forest City and is jam packed FULL of great fabrics, books, notions, quilty gadgets, rulers, samples, examples, tools, patterns and more. If you can't find it at Schoolhouse, it hasn't been made! She appears in regional quilt shows with her wide array of products and she will ship if you need to call and order. The shop is spacious with rooms of fabrics and goodies throughout. The staff is so enjoyable and welcoming. And if you have to drag your spouse with you, there is comfortable outdoor seating on the covered patio area so they can nap of zone out whilst you're inside overdosing on all the wonder of the beautiful selection of fun stuff.Happy stitching!

Like different merchandise. Not yet anyway. One thing they did stop was buying just one loaf of bread or donuts . Which at the time was crazy because they were out of date or already stale when you ate them. Now you can buy what you want, like English muffins, bagels ,bread or donuts etc. You also pay for your bags if you need some.I think its .05 cents a bag, I did forget to look on my receipt. If your looking for something you need its worth checking here first. You never know what you will find, even for your pets. Its still one of the stores I like checking out when I have time.

The Mighty Dollar in Forest City has accommodating employees, though they could use a few more during the busy hours. Overall the store appears to be organized and clean. A good find especially for those on a tight budget. Corporate should take the time to visit this particular Mighty Dollar Store, let their employees realize they are appreciated ~ bring along with them a sealed envelope with a gratuity of appreciation enclosed. That would go a LONG WAY towards employee morale.
