We met for no less than half a dozen times, where we discussed everything from design ideas, etiquete, timelines, budget, rentals, contracts, and honestly the who/what/when/where/and why of OUR wedding. She knew all the right questions to ask to help us turn our thoughts into reality. Before we knew it our wedding day was in a week. Everything was in place, and it just needed to happen. This is where she shines. Angela wrangled everyone from the wedding party, the photographer, the rental deliveries, the venue personel, i mean everyone. She made sure they all knew exeactly what their jobs were, and that they were there to do them. I was completely hands off for this last week before the wedding and it made the process so much less stress. On the big day she ran it like a Swiss watch. Everything ran seamlessly, period. We had a really difficult experience working with Genisis. She was very unresponsive and…read moredisorganized, taking 6-7 weeks to respond to emails, missing meetings, and asking questions that were already in our previous notes. She would suggest meetings or tell us she would send things by a certain date and then ghost. When we brought this up with her she dismissed our concerns by saying they were not in our original agreement, completely missing the fact that the reason we were upset was because SHE was suggesting these times and not following through. One meeting was rescheduled by our venue and we were understanding that Genisis couldn't make this rescheduled meeting, but she used that as an excuse for missing the previous meetings/deadlines. Genisis also repeatedly got the groom's name wrong and we gave her feedback that this was offensive, she said we were being "inflammatory" and that she could've gotten any client's name wrong regardless of ethnic background. (Like this was supposed to make us feel better? Or more confident in her attention to detail?) Overall we found Genisis to be very unprofessional, unresponsive, disorganized, and dismissive of our concerns and feedback. Another review also mentioned it was hard to get ahold of her leading up to the wedding but she did come through day-of. So it's possible she would've gotten it together for the actual wedding, but with less than 3 weeks to go and still not being able to get ahold of her, we decided it was not worth the risk and decided to find a different coordinator.

We did everything via e-mail (though we had the option for a consult) which was nice with my crazy sleep schedule. The day of he helped with more than just the music & lighting that he provided. When the order of events needed to be changed after the ceremony he helped make the changes flawless. He was able to keep everything moving and ensured us some time alone to eat. We loved that they provided glassware and even allowed for us to buy our own alcohol. Buying our alcohol was a must for us since we had a wedding of 230 people so we wanted to get it from a store that allowed us to return the extra bottles that were unopened. The option of making our own bar signs was a plus as well because I loved being able to DIY as much I was able to. They are also one of the only few bartending companies around that is more in the affordable range which was very much appreciated due to our guest count being on the higher side. This business posted a special price via their Facebook Fan Page for a session. I immediately…read morecontacted the business and stated I was interested a session as the discounted price ($50.00) and if they had an indoor studio. I mentioned that due to life commitments we would not be able to book the session by the end of the month (the time the special expired). I was told that it would not be a problem since I contacted them before it expired. I offered to purchase the session at that time and simply book it later as a show of good faith. I did refer at least on family to this photographer during this sale. When my family finally did get the time to book a session it was several months later; and I had stayed in touch with this small business over the months. We scheduled the session and the day of the session (two hours before) I was sent an email regarding payment and the prices was almost quadruple what I was expecting. This was after no less than 10 emails getting everything set-up; my husband arranging time off from work and purchasing new outfits for the day. It was to late to find a new photographer so, we paid this inflated price. When I reminded the owner about the special she told me it had expired so, I reminder her about our agreement and her answer was: "our prices are subject to change at any time". We went to the photoshoot and had a horrible experience. We were taken onto someone's private property to take the pictures and while it created an interesting background it was illegal. The photographer picked the time of day for the pictures and the location. Most of the pictures were shot were the subjects were looking into the sun so, everyone was squinting. Out of the 75 pictures we eventually received (3 weeks AFTER the promised date) only 2-3 of them were usable. The photographer did not take the time to make the little things were correct in the pictures. Such as shirts straightened, not squinting, a natural smile, glasses placed in a backpocket to not be seen were shown, hair fly-aways, and numerous other issues. The best pictures (and only usable pictures) were the ones were my 75 year old grandmother chose the location near a park. The park we walked through to get to the backlot of a private business. Oh yeah, and the indoor studio this photographer had - no longer existed. She had dismantled it, but never said anything in the numerous emails exchanged to work out all of the details. i was not happy with this experience and would never recommend this photographer to anyone else.

Simple seasoning issue. Not in just one dish, but through the entire meal. There was trouble at the first chicken skewer. A little bit of peanut on top, no flavor whatsoever. The meal didn't go too much better, floppy romaine in the Caesar, chicken that tasted even less like chicken than chicken. A "sirloin roast" that was chewy and dry, and had some incomprehensible brown flavorless gravy next to it. The best part was the fruit, but they only really had to cut it up. Yech. :(
