This was my first time here and i absolutely loved it. This was the first time I felt comfortable in a tattoo shop and it was all due to the friendly artists. And the environment was wonderful, it just felt like a big family in there. And I believe it was Marshall (I'm so sorry if it's not Marshall, I am so bad with names) who tatted me and I absolutely love it. It was for the walk in flash for st. Patrick's day. He was super nice and gave me some good advice for my curiosity. He made sure I was okay during my session due to the area being a sensitive spot, but the magic was worked!!! THANK YOU ODYSSEY for the lovely experience. I am definitely coming back to see you again

I had never been to Odyssey Tattoo and I heard about it through my friend on social media. So we made the drive down from Reno for their Valentine's Day flash event. We both got tattooed by Brea and she did an amazing job! Going into the tattoo, we thought we were going to get the hummingbird from the flash sheet and some light shading but Brea went above and beyond. First, she helped me with the placement since I was unsure where I wanted to get it and the tattoo looks so much better than I imagined! The tattoo shop was very welcoming and the staff were so friendly! I had such a good time while getting our tattoos. We will definitely be back for more. The drive from Reno to Carson City is definitely worth it for this amazing tattoo shop

Really awesome experience! Our artist Brea did exactly what we wanted for this birthday tattoo. Had a fun time in the shop, everyone was super friendly.

Stacey is an amazingly talented permanent make-up artist - hands down!! If you are looking for…read morevery natural permanent make-up results - LOOK NO FURTHER! It took me awhile before making the leap to decide to do my eyebrows, and I'm so grateful that I did, and that I found Stacey with L.A. Beauty PMU. I had my nano hybrid brows done with her initially two years ago. My results were so seamless, that my close friends and coworkers knew something changed, but not what had changed and gave me so many compliments on my look. They were floored when I told them what I did. They never would have known otherwise. These are not template brows and this is not microblading. It is a European technique, which truly delivers a more natural hairstroke esthetic, making your brows look just like you, but a more enhanced you thanks to her talented eye and attention to detail. I never quite realized how your eyebrows absolutely make your face. To find an artist who caters your eyebrow shape to your own anatomy so meticulously, was a relief and a God send - as I am a very low key, low maintenance-type of person who enjoys looking very put together with minimal effort and time. My eyebrows aged so well and her color choice was perfection after the healing time. Yesterday, we did a color boost touch-up on my nano-hybrid brows, and I took another leap and also had my initial session for lashline enhancement as well. I even flew over here for this since I had moved to the East Coast a little while ago. She was the only one I trusted to do this and let me tell you - ZERO REGRETS! I have very big eyes, and love a good eyeliner to make me feel awake and put together. Doing the lashline enhancement and subtle lower eyeliner achieved that look for me. Now I can wake and dart out the door and not have to deal with the burden of redrawing my eyeliner to get it just right, only have it hit like heavy metal in the heat and slide too thick. It is subtle, it is natural and I'm oh so grateful!!! Her work speaks for itself, but Stacey's chairside manner and genuine passion for this are unmatched. Take the leap, reach out to her and invest in yourself. She is worth it and you are worth it.

I absolutely love the results of my permanent makeup--it looks so natural and has given me so much confidence. Her studio is clean and welcoming, and she takes the time to explain everything, answer questions, and make sure you're happy with the outcome. You can tell she truly cares about her clients and her work. I highly, highly recommend her if you're considering permanent makeup. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

The shop is a typical tattoo parlor with a good vibe to it. I spoke with Russell (30 yrs tattooing)…read moreand told him I was looking for a tattoo of my dog's face inside of Lake Tahoe and an American flag as the surrounding water. I gave him a photo of my dog. He told me to give him a week or two and he would create what I'm looking for. Two weeks later he called me and said he was done with the drawing. I went back and Russell showed me his drawing. It was exactly what I was looking for. I then set an appointment I've had other tattoos but it had been over ten years since my last. This tattoo took about four hours. But it went by quickly. Russell even gave me some suggestions on the placement which I agreed to. When Russell finished I was extremely happy with the tattoo. I highly recommend Lucky 7 and Russell for the quality and professionalism too.

I came back recently for two ear piercings and had another great experience. It also been a while since I had a tattoo and I've had an idea for a while. I set up a consultation with Russell. His line work, paw print, and shading of my flower, everything is perfect and I absolutely LOVE IT! He is super friendly and chill guy. Great experience. Will definitely be coming back for my next tattoo. And couple more ear piercings. Great place and great guys!

My friend and I decided to go to this shop to get a new tattoo together…read more My initial thought of the shop was that the decor was cute. We were greeted by a friendly face and, it seemed like a nice shop. She let us know that Rickett had to run out to grab some ink for their printer and he would be back shortly. We totally understood. Things happen. We ended up waiting for him for about an hour. To me, I feel as if this was unprofessional. If you were out of ink, don't you think it should have been handled prior to your appointment? What started off as a simple errand to go and grab ink ended up causing your clients to wait an hour. I used their restroom and, their toilet was dirty. There was a yellow stain around the entire bowl. I'm not sure where else to mention this but, he went to take our temperatures and I made a comment about how wearing masks made me feel hotter. Temperature wise. Not in like I feel prettier kind of way. And I asked him if he felt the same way. The other tattoo artist made a comment to the effect of "oh yea I feel so much hotter with a mask on." I didn't mean it in a I'm hitting on you kind of way. I genuinely meant temperature wise. The other tattoo artist did not need to make this comment. And then to joke around about it for a few moments with her client? Unnecessary. He got his station set up and placed down my stencil. While he was setting up I asked if I could have mine done in a dark cobalt blue. He explained to me that the blue wouldn't look crisp and that it wouldn't hold well. I feel like now is a good time to note that I have a fair number of tattoos. Most of which are highly saturated with colors. Colors that include dark cobalt blue. I listened to what he had to say and ended up getting it mostly done in black. There are stars in the tattoo and I asked if they could be light blue. He again warned against it. At this stage though I rolled up my other sleeve and showed him that there was already the color I was asking for on my other arm. He seemed slightly disgruntled but, he ended up doing my stars in blue. I'd like to mention at this stage that his table was not wrapped, covered or, protected in any way. I thought nothing of it at the time but, now that I am dealing with an infected tattoo, I feel like it's only right for me to mention it to whoever else may be reading this. He started on my tattoo. Right away I noticed that he was heavy handed. I have other tattoos in "painful" places, top of my feet, my fingers, my inner bicep, and not a single one of them hurt like this one did. It took an hour give or take and then I was done. I looked at it in the mirror and initially I was very happy with the tattoo. I thought it was cute. He wrapped my tattoo and clean the station for my friend. My friend ended up getting her tattoo on her calf. She too has a fair number of tattoos and, I've sat with her in other sessions from other shops. She has never once been so uncomfortable. I offered her my hand to squeeze while she was getting tattooed and, I tried to distract her as much as I could. She was shaking, wincing and, had squeezed my hands so hard by the end of it that I had indentations in my hands. She apologized to the tattoo artist for shaking and, he told her "I just ignore it." I'm sorry. You ignore it? Who says that? Again, another side note, we were not given any aftercare for our tattoos. There was no instruction for when to take our wraps off. Nothing. We ended up paying and leaving. By the end of the night, my forearm was swollen, red and very warm to the touch. The next morning I woke up and, it was more swollen, more red and was very oozy. This is a good time for me to note that my tattoo got infected. So infected that I had to go to the doctors and, be put on antibiotics. There is a overall lack of consistency and quality in my tattoo. There are places that the lines are wobbly, you can see where his lines started and stopped and don't even meet up correctly. The anatomy of the hands is off. The proportions of the cat are also wrong. For someone who told me that the blue I requested wouldn't look crisp, the black doesn't look crisp either. I got this tattoo done 11 days ago. I had to go to the doctors for antibiotics and there is already scar tissue formed. Not only did I pay for a botched tattoo and for doctor expenses but, I now have to pay to have another tattoo artist attempt to rework it so it doesn't look so bad. It cracked and split open from infection. Definitely not worth the price I paid for this plus what I'll have to spend to have it fixed. Would I recommend this shop? Absolutely not.
