Wanted a Gyro went to the closest place on my gps Called to place a pick up order at 5:23. Place said they close at 6pm. Man answers the phone I politely ask to place a pick up order for a single Gyro. "ehhhh we are shutting down the kitchen" after expressing the question why would you say open till 6pm he said "okay okay what do you want. If it's any consolation his poor attitude and demeanor probably means the food is good and they are nice and fat with customers. I didn't have time for a sit down meal today. So I asked Odie what it would cost for a pound of Gyro meat and a small container of tzatziki sauce. He went back and consulted with his colleagues and returned and told me $18 a pound for the meat. I thought this was reasonable. I have been quoted $14 A couple of years ago before Covid and before this rampant inflation, so $18 is a good price. Altogether with the sauce and tax the total was $23 and some change. Well worth it. Already has remodeled recently they now have more booths and tables in the dining room, and have removed the fresh produce to make room for them. I still see that most of their business is from locals ordering lunches to go or eating at one of the booths and tables. read more

Odi recommended the gyro and said it was his best seller - with good reason! Got the Greek salad with the gyro meat and then a side of tzatziki and pita. Absolutely delicious. They had avgolemeno advertised but it wasn't avgolemeno - it was just chicken soup with orzo. Decent chicken soup - but that was all. One of the better Mediterranean spots in Florida , I'm going to put this place in my top 3 because everything I had was very good. The falafel platter which comes with hummus, pitas, falafel, and tabouleh. Everything was great but for about 11 bucks I expected more falafel pieces , value wise I feel this is lacking but the quality and flavors were awesome. I lost the photo of the gyro but I loved it. The size and amount of meat that comes with it is a solid deal for the price. The gyro meat had great lamb flavor , perfect seasoning and texture , this was bomb. This is a hidden gem in St.Pete beach! I wish they did more advertising so people know more about this place. The taziki sauce is to die for and the hummus is so good but very garlicky, both of which are homemade. Their Greek salad is delicious and full of vegetables and a nice amount of feta cheese. Tabouli is fresh and delicious, as is their beet salad. I've been looking to try this place for about a year now based on some the fresh looking food photos! I was finally in the area on vacation and decided to give them a shot. It was in the afternoon. I'm not sure if it was near closing time, but time shouldn't impact the quality of the food especially when you're paying for the food-it wasn't free. I got the grilled chicken platter with some grilled veggies. First I'll say the service was great and the place was clean. They had several different tasty and fresh looking items in the deli so I grabbed a couple. The disappointment came when I got to my hotel to eat the grilled chicken platter. The chicken pieces were hard, dry, and appeared to be leftovers from a previous day that had been reheated. The measly onions and peppers were old, greasy, burnt, and cooked/reheated on the grill too many times. The rice seemed old, greasy, and also perhaps from a previous day or two. The pita that was cut in quarters seemed old as well. Nothing looked fresh or like it had been cooked that day which is a far cry from the photos that show freshly cooked meat and veggies - which is why I went there in the first place! The grilled veggies seemed a little soggy as well. I liked the tzatziki sauce though! Perhaps they only serve the freshly cooked food I saw in the photos to those that dine in. They save the not so fresh food for the take out diners' surprise for when they get to their destination lol! I guess I should've peeked at the food before I left, but I trusted that based on the service everything would be ok like most take out I get from other places. I was hungry so I ate most of it. The deli food was ok, but not enough to make me come back. A one star rating is appropriate, however I'm giving an extra star because of the friendly service and deli food. read more

Excellent food. We have never gotten anything we didn't like. The best tzatziki around. Food is always fresh. We had pork and vegetables. Pork is tender and well seasoned. The veggies are grilled carrots, zucchini, squash, onion and a little bell pepper nicely seasoned. We got a few desserts to try. Baklava, a white cookie and a chocolate covered cake. My brother was craving a gyro, and had been wanting to try this place. So glad we did. Very good gyro and the other foods in the deli case also looked delicious. I hear the do very good trays for parties. They also sell beer and wine, and even had some Greek beers, which went great with the gyro. We just returned from Greece and wanted to find an authentic Greek restaurant for lunch - we were pleasantly surprised by Odi's. First up, they offer both Fix and Mythos beers! Yay!! Although smaller bottles than what we drank in Greece (and 2x the price), I was happy to order a Fix to go with my meal. We ordered spinach pie, lamb gyro and the village salad. Portions were large and we are leaving full & satisfied. The tomatoes in the salad were nice and ripe and fresh. Everything was made to order.
