    Enjoy your yummy food!

Visited and left before ordering . Cook wiped down tables after wiping his face. I am extremely focused on restaurant cleanliness. Glad I walked away. Saw this recently.

The Yelp check in offer of a 20% discount is what brought me in the door. When I showed it to the cashier I was told they NO LONGER HONOR that discount. This is a classic example of bait and switch and cost them a star. I went ahead and ordered a Gyro Platter ($14.97 with tax) choosing 2 orders of fries for my sides. I got my order to go because I was not too keen on the cheap tables. The floor and tables were also sticky, but since a lot of businesses in the area are recovering from hurricane damage I decided that I would not hold that against them, which I consider generous because this may be the norm here. UPDATE: after reading some of the other reviews I came to the conclusion that the lack of cleanliness I experienced IS the norm. If the dining area is so filthy I shudder to think how bad the food prep area is. So take away another star. The only nice things I can say are The fries were nice and crisp, and The meat was plentiful, thick, and flavorful, and providing warmed pita pockets on the side is a nice touch. BUT The onions were practically nonexistent and the tzatziki sauce was NOT tzatziki, it was plain yogurt. Looking over the menu it says tzatziki in one place and yogurt in another. This cost them two more stars. This was my first visit, and I was not impressed by the service, the bait and switch, the cleanliness, and the lack of traditional gyro ingredients. Having earned only 1 star means I won't be back.

Amazing mediterranean food right here in St. Pete. The Food here is authentic and the service is wonderful.

The food was good. Ordered grilled chicken kebob platter. Not sure if related but as I was writing this review I had to make a dash to the restroom! Anyway, back to the review. As mentioned in another review the floor was SUPER STICKY. Especially the rug near the drink cooler. My flip flops literally stuck to the floor. The first table I almost sat at looked half wiped off with a clump of hair on the bench seat. Found a seat that was clean enough. There was no air circulation and I don't think the AC was even running. Very warm and uncomfortable for Florida. I won't be going back.

We came Thursday after spending the day at the beach. We weren't sure if we wanted to stay as we the place doesn't look as clean as we hope so. The floor was so sticky!!! But we were hungry and decided first to order the veggie plate and the Cedars Mix Grill Plate. The food was good so we decided to order more. We ordered the grapes leaves, hummus, babaganoush and fried kibbeh. The fried kibbeh and baba ganoush were a big letdown. The meat in the kibbeh was bland and poorly cooked and the baba ganoush lacked flavor. Overall, the place has potential but they really need to improve the cleanliness of the floors

The food here was delightful and not a bad price! The service was pretty good too and it's a nice little place. I highly recommend the platters so you can get a good sampling of everything!

Got a pick up order so this will be a quick one. The shop is small and pretty basic but the flavors are big and unique. Food was tasty and the person who served us was friendly- we got a chicken shawarma, a gyro with feta and a gyro plate with basmati rice and baba ghanoush Last but not least a piece of pistachio baklava All the food was good and tasted very authentic "to my knowledge " I would recommend the gyro over the chicken shawarma unless you are well versed in the Mediterranean flavors, the gyro is amazing The baklava was good not the best I've ever had but definitely tasty. Over all Food [7.6 / 10] Price: pretty cheap Vibe [4.3/10] is definitely recommend taking it to go- the guy working the shop was cool but that's really all they have going for it. Stop-bye-score: If Convient

Delicious! Ate in on a Sunday night and food was great and always a great price. I will be ordering more from Cedars this year for sure!

    Miss Lady ..

We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and the gyro. Everyone was happy with the chicken shawarma and the gyro was very tasty especially with the extra feta and tzatziki. Credit card accepted. I recommend this place

We were out running errands and we're starving. We opened yelp and Cedars was at the top of the list for nearby and I'm so glad we stopped. We ordered a gyro plate and the veggie plate and were absolutely thrilled with both. The hummus was smooth and so flavorful, I was eating it with a fork. The falafel I ordered with the veggie plate were super crispy, moist, and flavorful. Both meals portions were generous and we were very full but didn't leave a bite on the plate. Tip: ask for the garlic sauce. The service was great, we asked a few questions about recommendations and were helped with their insights. Friendly, quick, and comfortable. The meal felt light and healthy too which is always a plus. We'll absolutely be back!

Babaganoush shish kabob and salad. The top dish was the cedar mix platter hummus and babaganoush. Oh my loooord. Delicious.

I had a hankering for something different than my normal routine. And wandered through here on a Sunday. Their Babaganoush, shish kabob and salad was fantastic. We also got the cedar mix platter. Oh my loooord. Delicious. This is absolutely Mediterranean done right. It is absolutely being added as a lunch run for work days.

The tow company listed on the sign said they do not service the gate. We didn't see any security. We went back to Cybel and they weren't aware that that would happen. We had to uber home. Thankfully there's a Sunday market we will go back in the morning to pick up the car. Other than that, food was great. Service was fantastic. It's BYOB if you plan on drinking.

Nathan our server was well informed and gave good suggestions , he is familiar with the food. They have influence from Morocco in the decor, the music and the spices they use. There are few vegetarian options with the exception of the salads and a sampler platter. I did not see any vegan options. The sampler plate gives you a taste of many things, however, so much of the food is wheat based and more than likely sourced from the US not Morocco.. US uses a lot of glyphosphate and GMO in the wheat. And it is difficult to digest. One of the people in our group had the chicken Angie and said the chicken was good.. it was served with French fries and they were not good. Most likely not made in house. If you have never been to Morocco it may be a nice place to try. The mint tea is nice. I did not have any dessert.

However the waiter was friendly and encouraged us to still stay and order. I ordered the meat platter to try a little of everything - the bread is delicious!! The meats were good, but I think the cut of chicken was a little rubbery with tendons so I didn't eat too much of that. The small sausage roll sandwich (forgive me for not knowing the name and I can't find the menu online) was really good and we enjoyed it. Overall a nice spot. I would come back earlier in the day to see if that impacts the cut of the chicken or not.

I told her I wanted to sit outside so I could have dinner and read a book with a glass of wine. She told me it would be about 20 minutes and suggested I go to the bar. Once inside, I was greeted by Corey, who entertained me with a vibrant wine list and a quick tasting before selecting a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. As my wine was being poured in a delightfully elegant wine glass... Carolina told me my table was ready. They put me in the perfect spot for people watching. My server was Rachel, who shared the night's special offerings with great aplomb. I am not usually a Wagyu person, but I thought why not, yolo. I paired it with the cauliflower. But to kick things off,..I did the focaccia. The meal was so superb. I immediately texted a friend of mine and said we had to come back the following evening. Again with the Wagyu and the focaccia. Sue me, I'm a glutton for delight. My friend had the seafood linguine.... Which in keeping with the theme was exemplary. Our server for night two was Kyle... Who anticipated I ever need. We had a variety of martinis and ended the evening with a fancy coffee that included a rock sugar spoon. This is my new go to when I visit St. Petersburg. It's truly one of the best maintained outside eating areas Because it's completely covered as well so that really helps the shade aspect. There's also a little section outside of the dining patio that serves as a little cocktail lounge area, which is adorable. if you wanna find somewhere that you could eat outside with your elderly grandma, this is a great place because they really do everything they can to make it as comfortable as possible for those hot Florida summers.
