I saw a supervisor talking about an employee behind her back, encountered an ill mannered woman at the Continuing Education office, and did not speak to one counselor throughout the duration of our visit. We experienced all of that in just a couple of days! I witnessed a woman complaining to another woman that her secretary was coughing too much. They even spoke to my daughter very ugly, assuming that my daughter didn't know what she was doing there. Fortunately, a kind young man helped us and so did the woman who was "coughing too much". she was very knowledgeable and sweet. That other woman made her way to her office, got her purse, and fortunately didn't come back, as the other one left with her. I guess their lunch break was more important. Also, at the continuing ed office, a young unprofessional woman was at her desk, talking ugly about how she hated other women who worked for oc, then started texting her boyfriend. And to end our visit, the front desk woman in the counselors office was very rude to us because we did not have a registration slip. We waited for a very long time just to be told we could not be seen because of that. She obviously did not care about any of the students and looked like she did not want to be there. i can go on about the horrible experience we had but i can only DREAM we came during a bad week. My daughter is now enrolled at UTPB, where she enjoys it. read more
