It's taken a few issues for me to write this review to warn other parents with infants. I would highly recommend reviewing the policy book. The administration team is very ridged, rude and unsympathetic to not only the parents, but how their actions directly impact the babies. Example; My child was rejected because we showed up at 10am after a doctor's appointment. The center wouldn't allow her to attend class because I didn't physically show up prior to appt to sign her in. I explained I had no idea about this policy and could they just let us have this one chance since we've been with them less than a month. The admin was so mean to me I left crying and now have to take my 5 month old baby to work with me. The infant classroom is also not ideal being an open concept, my baby has a very hard time napping, and after almost a month she still has issues. (no sleep sacks allowed). I understand needing to get the older kids to school on time because they're learning valuable info. But an infant?! Are you kidding me?! And then telling the receptionist behind my back to notate my account about the issue was completely unnecessary. I'm paying you $900/month to watch my baby and you won't accept her after 9:30am with or without a doctor's note? What am I paying you for? I was so excited to get my infant accepted to Wee Care and now I'm left feeling really upset like I misplaced trust. read more

I got tired of always applying to this daycare over the years, and being told there was an open spot, given paperwork to take to my doctor, and doing all that they asked of me just to be turned down. Time and time again.. I will no longer waste anymore time here. It is indeed over rated. One particular lady spoke bad about my child when I took in the packet in front of one of the bosses, when I confronted her about it, she acted like she was just teasing. I didn't appreciate her doing that, she clearly does not know my child like that, I believe that was a tactic to prevent us from getting in, why, I don't know. But that is fine with me, I don't want my child anywhere he is not wanted. My child is a very well behaved child, and has not given us or anyone else problems, nor has my child ever been to daycare before. I thought by knowing some people that work here, and a few who have children in here that I know, that this would have been a good daycare for my child, but it seems like we are not wanted. Needless to say that is fine with us, we have moved on and found a great daycare for our child. read more

It's ok. It's very crowded and loud, but I guess that's the way all large daycare facilities are. My child's class has 20 kids and only 2 teachers, which means the kids don't really get any individual attention unless they do something wrong. Almost every time I drop my kid off, at least one of the teachers is yelling at a child to pick up thier crayons, sit back down, stop getting out of their seat, etc. I understand it must be hard to control so many kids with just 2 teachers, but its not an excuse for yelling and being rude to the kids. I also don't think I've ever seen either of the teachers (in my child's room) smile. They look like they are annoyed and couldn't care less about their job. The office staff are very nice and cheerful, as is the woman who gave me the tour. The facility is large and set up nicely, with an indoor play area as well as an outdoor one, a library, and a cafeteria. They are very clean, and there are always cleaning ladies that go around all day cleaning and sanitizing everything. I think if my child had a smaller class or had more cheerful teachers I would give this place 5 stars. read more

My daughter has been at Number 1 Wee Care Learning Center since she was 2,she is now 4. Sadly this is her last year since she will be starting Kinder next fall and we are going to miss Mrs. Helen and the rest of the staff. I LOVE this learning center and the staff. My daughter has grown close to all of her teachers and I am amazed by all that she has learned. At the age of 3 she knew how to spell her first and last name, her numbers, The Pledge of Allegiance and much more. She is well behaved and has always had the attention I felt she needed. When she came in to school a little grumpy they loved on her and made her feel better. All the staff are very sweet and cheerful and have fun with the kids but also teach them. They have both cafeteria staff and and cleaning staff. The facility is always very clean and well taken care of. Its not uncommon to see children asking their parents if they can go see a teacher they had in the past so they can say Hi and to go give them a hug. Before my child started at Wee Care I was a stay at home mom, I had to give that up and go back to work but I am so thankful that I was able to find a learning center who truly loves the children. read more

Our child has been to 3 daycares in our year in Midland. This one is the best by far. Most of the time there is a wait list and it's not the cheapest but there is a reason for that. The people are nice and actually teach the children not just watch them running around all day. I wish they were open longer and had transportation to schools but they have treated my daughter and us as a family great. After touring 4 + the 3 she has gone to this past year this is by far the best day care. read more

Hi, I think there is no enough care for kids in this center. The room for kids (between 3-4 years old) has 29 kids with just 1 staff (however the staff switches in the afternoon, but there is one staff in the room) . The room provided for these children is very small. I believe one staff can't learn anything to children and even can't take care of them. read more
