The menu is far from extensive but there's an adequate selection of sandwiches, pies, toasties and pastries as well as drinks, crisps and chocolates to bulk out your meal. The prices are reasonable and the service is always relatively quick and friendly. The food tastes good and this is my first stop for a bacon butty after a night on the town!

I like to go there sometimes in the morning for a hot sausage roll and a cream cake if it is a Friday. The staff are friendly and courteous and handle the queues well. They also have offers on sometimes on the cakes and biscuits. When it is Easter or Halloween for example, they also have specially decorated biscuits for children, which my children love me to bring home. A good little bakery.

It is perfect to get something if you are on the run and need a quick cheap meal. The staff are courteous and friendly, although the queues can get a little big at lunchtimes. You sometimes have to time it right, because if you go to early the hot pies might not be ready. After 11 am they seem to have a good supply of everything. I would definitely recommend this shop.

They sell cake tins, ribbons, cake toppings, food colourings and icing etc. They also actually make cakes to order and they have a catalogue of cakes from which you can order or you can suggest ideas of your own which they will try to adapt for you. They can even scan a photo of your choice and make this into rice paper to put on your cake. Excellent customer service - good advice given. Open roughly school hours to suit the owner - if you are aware of this, then you can plan you visit accordingly. You can park for free on the main road outside.
