History
Established in 2012.
Physiotherapist Lucy Macdonald and Osteopath Hazel Mansfield set up Octopus Clinic in response to the unnecessary pain and life restrictions that too many people suffer. With their 25 years of combined experience, they are well placed to lead a clinic that prides itself on clinical excellence. They know that Physiotherapy and Osteopathy done properly can treat the cause of pain and rid of it for good.
Over the past four years they have built a team of twelve exceptional Physiotherapists and Osteopaths who are regarded in high esteem by London's leading Consultants. They provide assessment diagnosis and treatment of pain and injury as well as massage, acupuncture, work station assessments, sports screening and training.
Their specialisms include backs/necks/spinal problems, knees, shoulders, sports injuries, hips and groin, foot and ankle, complex and chronic pain, RSI and work related injures, running, cycling, triathlon, contact sports, powerlifting and snowsports.

Lucy Macdonald has 14 years experience getting rid of pain and treating the cause of injuries in the NHS, private hospitals and clinics and with professional athletes including members of the GB ski team.
She has always been driven by a desire to enable individuals to fulfill their optimum potential. That is why she loves treating patients and training other Physiotherapists.
Lucy is known for her honest and comprehensive communication and is an expert in complex conditions and injuries. She regularly gets patients better who have been unsuccessfully treated elsewhere. This includes chronic pain, inflammatory conditions and hypermobility syndromes.
Her motto is 'it's not what you do it's how you do it that counts.'
