We love this gem!! I've only been once but on the list and it's our next stop!! It's a perfect place for a Sunday drink and board game day! Fun atmosphere for friends family or a little date! I personally love their ciders! If you're in Waunakee, this is a must see!! Be sure to take some beer home for later too!

Hoprocket IPA. Not a hazy but tastes like one.

One of my favorite local breweries. I love the untitled beer! They have something for everyone, beers including gluten free options, sours, seltzers and non alcoholic beers. I have to say that I am a beer lover and their non alcoholic ones are great. They have a wonderful multipack that you can purchase for when you're craving the taste but not needing the alcohol. I've really enjoyed their food as well with the Asian salad being one of my favorites. Family friendly and they have games available to play too.

During our visit to the Madison area, we found ourselves at Octopi Brewing on a whim and we were so glad that we went! First of all, the building was fun, spacious, cozy, and COVID-protocol safe. We immediately felt welcomed and taken care of and were excited to settle in for some drinks! While they don't do flights, you can get 4 oz pours of the beers. This was our approach to try the different beers. All total, we tried two sours, four stouts/porters, and an IPA. We discovered very quickly that all of the beer is very high quality and delicious! Some favorites included the pot de creme Mexican stout, the chocolate coconut stout, and the cinnamon roll stout. The others were all delicious, but these were the three we ended up walking purchasing 4-pack cans. Yum! My personal favorite was the pot de creme (so flavorful, creative, and high ABV) and my spouse loved the cinnamon roll stout (very flavorful and on the sweeter end). One thing to note is that Octopi welcomes a brewery to join them at their location and sell their beers as a place to start. At this time, that brewery is Untitled Art Brewing. All of the three favorite beers that were our favorites were Untitled Art Beers. There aren't actually a ton of Octopi beers on the draft list. Finally, staff were super friendly, prices were very reasonable, and the space was clean. It was a fun and delicious visit and we look forward to stopping by again next time we are in town!

I was here mid week on a beautiful August day in Wisconsin. The staff was friendly. There were quite a few patrons sitting outside on the lawn under the umbrellas. I opted to sit inside. It's a very modern taproom. The brewery is visible through the windows in the taproom. They have octopi and untitled art beers on tap and in cans to go. They have seltzers and nonalcoholic beer for off sale purchase as well. You can get crowlers filled with anything on tap. The beer was delicious.

We go to a lot of different breweries and hit this spot on our way out east, we're happy we explored a new place right outside Madison The ambiance is industrial; a cool, chill vibe with communal tables and some high top tables for a more intimate setting. There's a tv for the sport lovers and a secondary dining room to hang out with friends. This brewery is a little off the beaten path, about 10 min off Hwy 90, in an industrial park. I was pleasantly surprised they have several stouts on tap! I got the ice cream pasty stout, per the recommendation of the brewer and its excellent! It simultaneously tastes like ice cream while not being sweet. We also got some of their food and it was definitely pub food. We ordered their pretzel (not as good as I've had), burnt ends (just ok) and fries (with truffle aioli). The service was fast. The bathrooms are clean and generic, the indie music was great and once again, Wisconsin has impressed us with their homegrown, salt of the earth breweries but feel this place could be improved. Here's 3 ways it could improve: 1. It could use more plants and some books/games. There was a long shelf that had nothing on it that could be used for the customers' use. These things would make the place feel warmer. 2. The brewer asked me if I wanted 10 ounces and I said yes. She gave me a 7-ounce pour and charged me for the 10. I even remarked on this to the other brewer but he didn't make the change. 3. I love the name Octopi but noticed how the mural, glasses and merchandise were only of tentacles. The brewery would stand out more if it had some sort of clever octopus face, whether of just one eye, a smirk or something amusing. Just tentacles reminds of a any old sushi place. So because of these reasons, I give the brewery 3 stars.

A lot of different beers to choose from rather than your standard IPA's. Bright and clean and a different look at standard menu items. It would be fun with a group. Kid and pet friendly.

Excellent beers coupled with excellent food and pleasant service. We pass closer breweries to enjoy ourselves here!

I used to really enjoy coming here. Unfortunately, the quality of the beer has really gone down. I've gotten multiple to go packs from the brewery and more than half of them have a gross sediment in the cans. It really makes me sad because these beers are not cheap either. They're actually quite expensive. You should expect to get a good clean quality beer for this price. Overall, the brewery does a really good job with food and having live music but they have some kinks to work out. I also really wish the staff was more friendly. Most of the time when you go to the bar, no one has a smile on their face and I feel like I'm interrupting them or bothering them. I've brought multiple family and friends here and they say the same thing about the staff. Hopefully they can show some improvements but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit anymore.

We all know there are INCREDIBLE beers and seltzers at octopi. But guess what...their Food is equally as incredible. Truffle fries, batch bake house pretzel and fish fry- and everything we've tried has been wonderful!!

First time out here on a really busy Saturday afternoon. It was too cold outside so ended up finding a spot indoors at the bar. We didn't have our dog with so that was fine. I had the brazed pork belly for something different and it was very good. My wife had tacos which came with "street corn" and we had an order of fries, which was huge, served in a paper boat as was the corn. More than enough for two people. Good food and if you're into craft beer there is plenty here. We are not beer people and would have preferred a lite beer or a Corona but tried one anyway. It's really not fair to rate the place because it was so crowded and very noisy and not a relaxed lunch like we would have preferred. Maybe I would have liked it better on a weekday , or eating outside with our dog. The service was good but there is no table service, you order at the bar and everything is entered into an I-Pad. Seems to work ok and was pretty fast. Not the biggest fan on our first visit but would try it again.

If you do a walk up, call the number and someone will bring out a menu to you. Mask up, ya'll.

I wish every small town in Wisconsin had a farm that was as lovingly transformed into a brewery as this one! There seems to always be something fun going on: a concert, a science talk, a festival, etc. I do think the beers need a little work though. The variety and creativity is definitely there, but the hoppy beers tasted a little oxidized and some of the sour fruit beers were a little over-the-top (more like a smoothie than a beer) for me. Some of the best brewery vibes around, definitely worth going out of your way to stop in!

The food menu is fairly limited with pizza and hot soft pretzels or cracker platters. While we waited for our pizza we snacked on some delicious dill pickle pretzel sticks. They had a number of flavors available for purchase. We had the meat lovers porker pizza. It didn't look like much when it arrived, but it had a thin layer of Canadian bacon under the cheese and pepperoni. The crust was thin and crispy and it had a great lightly smoked flavor; loved it. Bright clean facilities and friendly service. Great outdoor patio with a huge TV screen. Great for sports or music. Nice gift shop and plenty of parking. Had to take some 4 packs home!

They have slowly been improving their food offerings over time. I usually get one of their crunch wraps but tried the chicken club this time and it was delicious, as were the fries! It did get a little messy at the end since there is a lot in between the bread, but it was worth it. There could have been more aioli on the sandwich but I just asked for a side of it and used it for both that and my fries which was perfect. The background music has always been great and the staff have always been lovely.

It's the perfect place to spend a relaxed afternoon -- good beer, friendly staff, and a laid-back vibe that's never too crowded. The space itself is great -- high ceilings, big windows that let in tons of natural light, and a nice open layout. The outdoor patio overlooking the pond is especially beautiful when the weather's nice. It's also dog-friendly, which we love! Our pup is always happy to come along, and we even picked up one of their dog toys from the merch area -- easily her new favorite. They've got some fun merch for humans too. The beer selection is solid, with something for everyone. We've really enjoyed the Lil Louie Lager and Badger Club Amber, and they always have a few rotating taps that keep things interesting. The staff has been consistently friendly and welcoming every time we've visited. If there's one area for improvement, it's the atmosphere. The space itself is awesome, but it sometimes feels like it's missing a little energy I'd love to see more events, live music, or themed nights to bring the place to life. It has so much potential to be a real community hub. Overall, Wisconsin Brewing Company is absolutely worth checking out great beer, great staff, and a beautiful, dog-friendly spot to unwind. With just a little more happening in the space, it could easily be a five-star destination.

Which brings me to the point that I really disliked the fish fry. We started with an order of cheese curds because a friend said they were her favorite in the area. Good, gooey white cheese but I actually did not love the breading. It felt like the same breading used on the fish and I thought it was greasy and without flavor. Definitely not a fan, but obviously many others are. The fish was very large, and two pieces was enough for leftovers (usually I need 3 pieces for leftovers). But again, I thought the beer batter/breading was greasy and not very flavorful. The fish fry also comes with the saddest excuse of a lemon wedge. It was so small I had to jam my finger into the flesh of the lemon just to try and get some juice to fall. So that was another blow to the fish flavor. But just because I don't like their fish fry doesn't mean I won't be back. My 4-star rating remains. I like their other food and it is definitely worth checking out for yourself to decide.
