All the treatments at this practice are well over $100 since they are cosmetic. IMO, who walks around with cash to cover this. However, the reason I am writing this review is concerning the experience I had today. As always, when called back I was asked about the treatments I wanted. The assistant was insistent on trying to sell me additional treatments that I was not interested in and seemed confused when I repeatedly stated what I wanted done. Please note, I always do the same thing, brow furrow and crows feet. I am not exaggerating when she repeatedly stated that I wanted two other areas for neurotoxin treatment that I did not want (forehead and lower face). I corrected her multiple times and it struck me odd as I always do the same thing. I was stunned when Dr. Tish came in and injected my forehead (her habit is to come in and inject without verifying the areas). I stopped her from proceeding. Please understand, my forehead doesn't need help, but my eyes and furrow do. As you all know, the neurotoxins are extremely expensive and she wasted my money injecting an area that I didn't want injected. And as a result, less was left for the areas that I wanted targeted. I assumed she would apologize for the mistake and then correct the error. No, she did not. I am extremely dissatisfied with the results as I didn't get the full service that I paid for and she didn't offer to remedy the situation. I will never go there again and you are a fool if you trust your face to her. Lastly, any Doctor that is doing a procedure should, out of due diligence, confirm with the patient the procedure. She never has done that and in my mind, it is lazy and borderline malpractice.

The other guys have put me on a twice-a week visit plan where I was put through a scripted program of procedures I didn't need. With Dr. Brad, I go once a month, if needed. When I pay for healthcare, I am someone that prefers the attentiveness and understanding of my issues that an independent practice provides vs. a big system provider who just reads from my last visit's notes. At every visit, I get asked what pains and stiffness i have, and Dr. Brad will ask questions about my activities until he figures out what caused it and then he'll recommend any changes I need to make to prevent the problems in the future. Then we proceed to the physical work. Every pain I've walked in with has been fixed...I sit at a desk all day for work and every little pain is the biggest distraction from completing my work. Being pain-free lets me focus easier on and enjoy everything else in life, and Dr. Brad has never failed to get me pain-free. He has shown me exercises that help prevent pains (which reduces my visits and his income, but he does it anyway), been on-call with advice over the phone and can find the source of pain with his diagnoses that I didn't knew existed (but caused radiating dull pain elsewhere). It's a crazy awesome trick that I've still not gotten used to yet. I highly recommend Avon Lake Back & Neck...Dr. Brad is someone that lives what he teaches. And if you really talk to him, you'll learn that he does this out of passion vs. a paycheck. His prices are very fair, my girlfriend does not have coverage (like I do) for chiro, so I see firsthand what he charges for several procedures...and it is always less than half our u-verse bill. Easily worth the money to live a pain-free life.

Dr. Allison is a wonderful person who makes you feel comfortable and talks you through the entire process of what she is doing, the reasons she preforming whatever movements, and asks questions to make sure you feel secure in the next steps will be. Active does take insurance and offers packages to purchase if you plan on going back numerous times. The staff is incredibly sweet, welcoming, and makes you comfortable during each visit. What I do really like too is they offer texting which is helpful in scheduling appointments and reminders. It isn't an automatic service on the other line when texting, it is an actual person who answers your questions and concerns! Overall, Active is a great office that helps resolve your issues while easing your mind with answers to whatever questions you might throw their way!

From the initial consultation, to the time he took to explain treatment options; everything he did was in the absolute best interest of our son. We went with the Invisalign option, and WOW am I happy we did! 9 months and the change in his mouth is incredible.
