Replaced a very old heating fuel furnace that was at it's "end of life" with a new gas furnace…read more Received a quote from Angelo less than 3 hours from his visit. Becky at the office, answered a few questions and altered our order to include a programmable thermostat with no problems. Sent updated information, and confirmed the install twice, at time of order, and again the day before. Their friendly crew were on time, paid attention to details, kept me informed as the install was happening, answered all questions. They double and triple checked the install. Checked the registers. Insured the gas stove was operating fine before wrapping things up, as the gas was shut off to run a new gas line. Removed the fuel line, shut off the fuel from the old tank and capped it as well. Ran through the thermostat settings. Cleaned up everything and used drop cloths. Place heats quickly, fan is much quieter and can actually be set to lower speeds if desired. The programmable thermostat helps reduce heating costs. So far, I am quite pleased and toasty warm. If I don't update this review, the furnace if working fine. ;)

The technician was rude, as we have never had a gas fire place before he belittled us and made us feel stupid for not knowing how a gas stove works. We've only ever had wood burning, it was as though it was a chore to him to have to show us the ins and outs, is this not what I was paying for? He also requested to use our toilet, which I can understand however not sure that's my problem. Will try my hardest not to use this company again.

Their quote was unclear (They just gave me the price of a new unit + labor but they did not say what the labor cost would be). Other outfits did and I went with another outfit with a cheaper and much clearer quote. Then, they hit me with an invoice!. When I disputed it, Their response was that they gave me a service and the "free quote only applies when you put in a new unit". Yet, they did not say that on their website. Buyer beware of Customer Service…read more We had a power outage on October 13, 2020, and when the power came back on our heat pump did not. My husband called JT Total Heating and told Val on the phone about our issue and the reply "we didn't install it". He said yes, we bought it and it was installed two years ago by you. She told him she would talk to someone and get back to us. I called back over two hours later as we hadn't heard from anyone and there's no heat in the house. The call was answered by Val who took the original call. There was absolutely no customer service from Val, all I heard were excuses coming that she couldn't get a hold of anyone and that we are in a pandemic so it will be two weeks before someone could come because service calls now are booking into February with all the snowbirds staying in town. My husband asked if they have anyone that deals with urgent calls like this she said no because they don't deal with emergencies and we are not considered one since we have a fire place and there are worse people out there in need. The fire place does not heat the house I told her. She told me to go somewhere else so I did and got superb service. JT Total Heating has lost two customers and I will continue to tell people how terrible their service is. I will letting different social media channels know about my experience with JT Total Heating. Typical small owned store with crappy customer service after they do the job.
