Buyer beware of Customer Service…read more We had a power outage on October 13, 2020, and when the power came back on our heat pump did not. My husband called JT Total Heating and told Val on the phone about our issue and the reply "we didn't install it". He said yes, we bought it and it was installed two years ago by you. She told him she would talk to someone and get back to us. I called back over two hours later as we hadn't heard from anyone and there's no heat in the house. The call was answered by Val who took the original call. There was absolutely no customer service from Val, all I heard were excuses coming that she couldn't get a hold of anyone and that we are in a pandemic so it will be two weeks before someone could come because service calls now are booking into February with all the snowbirds staying in town. My husband asked if they have anyone that deals with urgent calls like this she said no because they don't deal with emergencies and we are not considered one since we have a fire place and there are worse people out there in need. The fire place does not heat the house I told her. She told me to go somewhere else so I did and got superb service. JT Total Heating has lost two customers and I will continue to tell people how terrible their service is. I will letting different social media channels know about my experience with JT Total Heating. Typical small owned store with crappy customer service after they do the job.

Late yesterday (9 June) I discovered one of my three outdoor electric outlets was not working, cutting off my in-ground sprinkler system. I called and was able to arrange for early repairs on-site at 0800 hrs today, 10 June. Joe Hitchcock (??) arrived at the time agreed & expected and got promptly to work. Masked for CV 19, he got to work smartly. The existing outlets were originally installed in 1989 and the covers were the worse for wear. Linked together on one control box switch, I noted he was especially careful to ensure and double check that he was not at any time unknowingly working on a live line. Joe worked methodically, neatly and carefully at his repairs, with the how's and why's being explained to me as he went about his work. When he was done, I reconnected my sprinkler control box and confirmed the system was fully operative. My wife, who is proud of her garden, was especially pleased. I earned kudos for not getting in the way playing Dagwood Bumstead. The job took a full two hours, but I am entirely satisfied the work completed was quite necessary and that it was completed to the highest standards of the Electrical Repair business. We knew we needed a new furnace when we bought our house a few months ago and also wanted to add a…read moreheat pump. We did some research and got 3 quotes from local companies that all have very good reputations. We decided to go with Servicexcel even though their quote was about $800 more than the others. The main reason we went with Servicexel is that they quoted on higher quality equipment and their system designer took the time to explain why, in plain simple language. Plus the equipment they quoted on have a better and longer warranty. After they provided the quote, they were very quick to answer all our questions. The ladies that answer the phones were very knowledgeable and prompt to help however they could. They also took the extra step to arrange for the rebates that we qualified for. Once they started to do the install, the technicians both were very knowledgeable and able to explain what they were doing and were very efficient. It was not the easiest install (due to the cramped and awkward furnace room and crawlspace), but these two technicians took it all and made it look much easier than I thought it would be. During the install they were very good at keeping the area clean and went through the whole area afterwards to vacuum up and make sure everything was back to normal. I would highly recommend Servicexcel and their dedicated employees to anyone that needs any type of HVAC service or replacement.
