Excellent bagels. Seriously, you have to try this place. Get here early though, or they won't have any cinnamon raisin bagels left!

We traveled to the beach from Orlando for a girls' weekend and were excited to eat waterfront, so we decided to give Seafood Atlantic a try. The highlight of our evening? We saw dolphins in the water. So, two stars for the location and a couple of decent menu options, but the service needs a serious overhaul -- or at least that was our experience with the particular server assigned to us. From the time we were seated around 7:30 p.m., our waitress had an attitude. We were perfectly pleasant and explained that we had a couple of questions about the menu. After answering maybe two questions from one member of our party, she rather harshly informed us that she was there to start us with drinks "for the time being." We were taken aback but went ahead and ordered drinks. Despite there only being three of us, she still managed to forget one of the drinks. We also ordered Jell-O shots -- one for each of us -- and had no idea they came in different flavors. She neither told us nor asked for a preference; she simply left a variety on the table for us to coin-flip over. After the drinks arrived, she disappeared for at least 10-15 minutes before returning to take our food order. By then, it was around 7:45 p.m. She informed us that the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes and that our appetizers and entrées would all have to come out together. Given how little we had seen of her up to that point, we were understandably frustrated. We felt rushed and like we weren't being given an opportunity to actually sit and relax, but we agreed. Once the food arrived, one order contained an ingredient we had specifically asked to be left off, and the knives we requested never arrived. But the worst part came when one of my friends discreetly approached our server to pay the check. She wanted to surprise the group by treating everyone and was trying to do so without any fuss. Instead, our server gave her a hard time, saying, "I have another table and am busy right now." Apparently, the hostess had already run my friend's card and given the receipt to our waitress. Our server then came over, slammed the receipt down on the table, and said, "Here! She took care of that for you." It was unbelievable. The abrasiveness and utter lack of customer service were truly the most memorable parts of the evening. And for all that aggression, the food was barely worth it. Were some menu options decent? Yes. Was anything wonderful enough to make us overlook the poor service? Not even close. The fresh catch was nice, the sides were fine, and we all agreed the Gouda mac and cheese was yummy. Otherwise, nothing really stood out. In a very rare move for me, I actually asked to speak with a manager. They did remove the cost of an appetizer and a drink, but the bill was still upwards of $100, and by that point, it really felt like a rip-off. The view alone isn't enough to bring me back. I'll stick with Fishlips next door, which I would recommend as an alternative.

The location itself was easy to find and very centrally located, which made it super convenient for a quick breakfast stop. Now -- coming from a New Yorker -- I'll admit the ordering experience felt a little disconnected. The "language" of ordering a bagel just wasn't quite the same, and it threw me off a bit. I'm not saying someone has to be from New York to own or run a bagel place at all... but there's a certain savviness and familiarity that makes the experience feel more authentic. I also noticed they use Boar's Head for their deli meats. While that's a recognizable brand, it just doesn't quite deliver when you're talking about classics like pastrami or a true Reuben. If you're used to traditional deli quality, you may feel the difference. All in all, I appreciate supporting local and the convenience of the spot -- it did the job for a quick breakfast while traveling. With a little more deli depth and bagel-shop flow, it could really elevate the experience for visitors like me who come in with those Northeast expectations.

The customer service? Next level. Like, if friendliness were a sport, they'd have a trophy case. I picked up some beef liver (because I make bold life decisions), and my husband spotted a sandwich special. We teamed up like true food strategists and split a Turkey Avocado on Rye with chips. Zero regrets--10/10 would share again. While casually pretending I knew what I was doing near the steak section, I found something called "Drunken Steaks." Obviously, we adopted one--a NY strip--and cooked it that night. It was so good I briefly considered writing it a thank-you note. AND THEN... plot twist: FREE BEER. I don't even drink much, but I'm not about to disrespect free. I asked for a half cup like a responsible adult. The butcher, however, was on a mission to make sure we *didn't* leave sober. Respect. By the end, we were stuffed, happy, and slightly questioning our self-control. Long story short: came for the meat, stayed for the vibes, left planning our return.

Each and everytime I've ordered over 100+ lunch boxes. All of the catered orders have consistently been accurate, no missing items, condiments are all included. There's always been plenty of napkins too. Alex is one of the best leads there. I always ask for her and she always makes sure the sandwiches are labeled or grouped together so you don't have to unwrap the sandwiches to figure out which sandwich it is. Since my orders are always for 2 different offices, Alex sees to it that the orders are also separated to avoid any confusion. If Alex is not there or not scheduled to work on the day I pick up my orders, she will make sure the orders are organized for the crew to know what to do. I also know she has come to work on her unscheduled day to make sure our orders are accurately done. She is super friendly, reliable and gives 100% customer service. She will call and reassure the order will be completed and ready for pick up. She has always been dependable. When I call, and I place my order, she remembers me even though I come out to Cocoa Beach once every 2 years. I have never eaten on the premises, but it is well lit, clean but not very big. There are about 3-4 tables and seating along the window to watch passerbys. I see some low ratings b/c catered orders were messed up or late. Highly recommend asking for Alex to help you w/your order. She will see to it that your order is accurate and ready for you when you come to pick up.
