My first Apothecary facial was back in 2013. The gal who worked with me was obviously hung over, not happy about being there that morning, and gave me an absolutely amazing pore popping, skin changing facial. Walked out of there feeling like a million bucks .. and that I'd just spent an hour with my worst frenemy. I returned for another facial last month and met with a different gal; very sweet, but provided the most unenthusiastic spa service I've ever received. Again - an absolutely fabulous facial, but left me lying on the table for 5 - 10 minutes at a time in between treatments. Get up off the chair and throw in some massage for crying out loud .. don't just let me lay there! Two fabulous facials, two totally bizarre experiences - I will be back! =) How can I not?!

The location is great, atmosphere is also great - i love the nautical theme! they dont have the regular pedicure chairs, so in my current state i was a tiny bit uncomfortable, they have a large bowl for the water for your feet, very boutique-ish. The owner loves what she does! It was a little expensive for me to go to regularly, $39 for my pedicure and $39 for my gel manicure although the did offer military discount. Overall great experience, would go back for some pampering.

The receptionist said that's not 20% I said I know, that's what I want to tip. She argued with me about it so I gave in and paid 20%. When I got in the car the corner of my toe immediately chipped. I don't remember the name of the spray tan artist, but she was phenomenal. At least for me, it takes a lot to make me feel comfortable and confident naked in front of strangers, but she was great. I had never felt so at ease or confident in a beauty situation before. She made you feel safe and comfortable and explained every aspect of the appointment. The tan looked amazing right after and for the week that followed, but didn't last as long as ones I'd had in the past fading and peeling in spots, although this could be due to my prep and aftercare. Either way, I've already recommended this place to multiple people for the price, quality, and of course the quality of service.
