I decided this must be helping so i kept seeing her consistently and sure enough my next implantation was a success. I went every month and had a very healthy pregnancy and I know its because of her acupuncture that it kept my body happy and baby friendly. In January I had a healthy little boy. I've been seeing Dr. Bailey for acupuncture for almost a year now, and highly recommend Dr. Bailey and Jessica (in the front office). Dr. Bailey really knows what she is doing, listens to your needs, and helps you make sense of the process. She is super empathetic and creates comfortable, caring acupuncture sessions. Jessica has also gone out of her way to be helpful and supportive - she even offered her cell phone number so I could make an appointment once I found out when my transfer would be (I wouldn't find out until the last minute). She was extremely reassuring and supportive through a stressful time, and made me feel so cared for. On the day of my transfer, they also recommended my husband make a fresh juice for me from a few different veggies. When I looked it up later, there was a recent NIH study that reported higher transfer rates with this juice - so you know Dr. Bailey is staying on top of recent research. Had my first acupuncture consultation and treatment with Dr. Virginia Priors, she was perfect. Asked a lot of questions of me, listened attentively to my needs and also allowed me to also ask questions. Dr Priors was friendly and professional. She has an excellent demeanor and is very knowledgeable not only about acupuncture and herbs, but also about the body in general as it pertains to natural remedies and lifestyle modification for health. I loved her references to modern studies and her blunt commentary on these studies and clarification on conflicting information. Very much appreciated by a person like me who is curious and likes to take my care into my own hands. The office a legitimate doctors office with multiple practices on site. Their suite is cute, decorated for Christmas and has photos of clients and their families. She treated me for two things, hormonal balance for fertility and a stiff neck. The stiff neck was drastically improved the day after treatment. It will take longer to measure results on the hormonal treatments. Cost for fertility treatments is $225 1st visit and $89 subsequent visits. They ask you to pay upfront, but offer a Superbill, which is a request to your medical insurance provider to reimburse you. Out of pocket cost for the first visit, depending on insurance, could be as low as $25-$75. Subsequent visits should be $15-$25, also depending on insurance. I had miscarriage a few times, failed embryo transfers twice with "good" quality of the embryos. I was so desperate for a successful pregnancy with the "poor" quality of my LAST embryo. Fertility acupuncture was my last hope. I initially went to another fertility acupuncture in Orange County because of the distance from my house, despite OceanSide was well known for fertility acupuncture. However, when I had the embryo transfer at my fertility center, OseanSide was close and had an open spot after my transfer day. Dr. Bailey and Jessica were super friendly and welcoming. I immediately gained trust in them and switched my treatment to OceanSide. OceanSide helped my miracle happen. I'm currently pregnant for week 31 at age 43. Again, "better" quality of two embryos didn't make me pregnant at all without acupuncture. Fertility acupuncture made my successful pregnancy with "poor" quality of an embryo. I now believe in acupuncture. It's natural, no side effect, easy for our body. Just note that if you want acupuncture for fertility issues, go "fertility" acupuncture, not regular acupuncture. The location is great as it's near some fertility offices and parking is easy. Office itself is pretty clean just a slightly dated. The room where you get service is nice and relaxing with minimal items in the room. The cost is expensive! $228 for fertility patients, which I think is a rip off since accupunture is achieved by certain points where the needle goes. Fertility patients will literally try anything to get pregnant and the fact that she charges more is a bit disconcerting. The treatment is for an hour and a half. My service was cut short about 10 minutes. She didn't really do a through consultation - just asked a few general questions. My other acupuncturist looked at my tongue. I would not recommend this acupuncturist as the price for the service is way too expensive. read more

And worse, the doctor provided no help and really no services- aside from a lecture and condescending conversation. Jan made sure to call me on a Saturday to give me Dr. Bailey's cell phone number in case I needed her on Sunday. The treatment itself was nice and sweet. Hard to say if it worked per se cause it was fertility related, and these things are difficult to measure but I certainly felt relaxed. My only "complaint" if I can call it that is that I could hear lots of voices and laughter coming from the front desk/lobby which was slightly distracting. But not a huge deal. I found Tracey through the recommendation of my fertility Accupuncture doctor. I had my first IVF transfer scheduled and she wasn't able to do a treatment because she was already booked for that day at another clinic. I called Tracey and spoke with her the same day to get myself pencilled in. Her office is right down the hall from my fertility clinic in redondo beach so I felt that this was meant to be! Even when I had another delay with my transfer, and then a time change- Tracey made it work! She is so accommodating and polite and I didn't feel like a burden or an inconvenience. On my transfer day, the girls at the front desk were friendly and helpful and made me feel so welcome. Tracey is very familiar with fertility Accupuncture and how it works before transfer. She told me when to start drinking the water and that she could come down to the transfer room afterwards to administer the 2nd half of the treatment. This review is well overdue for one of the best Medical Professionals I've ever met. Dr. Bailey helped make my dreams come true and I am now 4 months pregnant because of her! My story: (It's long but important!) For 3 years I asked my OBGYN to assist me in getting pregnant and she kept saying "just wait, it'll happen." I asked her to check my blood, fine. Check my hormone levels, perfect. Do an ultrasound, check check check. For 3 years I was told that everything was "fine" and it'll happen naturally.. I went to a fertility specialist. There, they wanted to put me on Clomid and other drugs to help me ovulate more. Well, ovulation isn't my issue...everything is normal, so why do I have to take a drug with several terrible side effects? I went to a another specialist and he pushed Clomid on me, just like everyone kept saying. I finally gave in..and I gained 18 lbs and went crazy! Clomid made me psychologically ill. It made me sad and depressed, even worse it mimics the signs of pregnancy so you aren't even sure if you are pregnant or not. The doctor never really explained how bad it could really be..and when I went back and complained about how I felt, he said "well, next time I'll just monitor you. Let's try it again." Really. Uh..bye. Months went by and I did research online. I even went back to my OB and asked for her to check all of my hormones and that something may be off. She ran another blood test and same results; everything was normal. She then suggested I take Clomid! I literally wanted to scream because I already told her how horrible the effects were on me! No medical professionals were hearing anything I said... Online I found out about taking a saliva test. From that site you have to have a medical professional receive the results and read them to you. That's how I found Dr. Bailey! I called literally 10 offices. If I had a bad vibe, I didn't make the appointment. I had already seen an acupuncturist before, too, so I was a little weary on whether or not it would be effective; and I had terrible communication issues because the ones I went to had strong accents. Either way, I chose an office that was right by my house. I wasn't satiated, so I made one more call and that's when I called Dr. Bailey's office. Jan answered and literally from me asking one question she said "I can hear it in your voice." What she was referencing was my sadness from feeling like no one could help me. It was just what I needed from someone at that time and she and I ended up talking for 30 minutes. I told her everything and she was so caring and so sweet. I couldn't believe it. I ended up setting an appt with Dr. Bailey's office, in addition to the office that was right near my house. I had to wait because it was Thanksgiving and I was going out of town. I took the saliva test as instructed and mailed it out while on vacation. When I returned, Dr. Bailey took it upon herself to call me. Before my appointment! Why? I have no idea, but it was so kind and sweet. She and I spoke and she was so amazing and patient. Once we spoke, I felt that I didn't want to go to the other office anymore. I decided to just choose her because I got that feeling from her that I had been looking for. Plus, her office staff was so kind to me and sweet; something you miss in a medical office. Sooo long story short... I met with Dr. Bailey and she was everything I had been searching for. My first appt was very thorough. I had done other research online and started taking supplements and Dr. Bailey knew every single one and agreed that it was good that I was taking them. Finally I felt Validated. She and I discussed my medical background, too. She also gave me some herbs to help me out. The saliva test indicated I needed Progesterone, which I got from Dr. Bailey's office,too. (Meanwhile, 3 docs couldn't discover that, including 2 fertility docs) After literally 1.5 MONTHS I WAS PREGNANT!!!! I saw Dr. Bailey in December, my hubby and I conceived NATURALLY on January 31!! (yes, I do know the conception date!!) I believe Dr. Bailey was my only hope to get pregnant and I know it was her practice and her herbs/progesterone that got me there! I called to schedule an appointment to help induce labor at which point she went on a diatribe about how it's not "inducing" labor and on and on. After a long conversation with herself she presumed I didn't know what I needed (second child, second time using acupuncture to help induce labor, the first time having acupuncture work just fine), I thanked her and said I'd look around and call them back. I met Dr. Bailey yesterday for the first time and am already a huge fan. I was referred to her by a friend of mine, and am so glad that I made an appointment. Since it was my first appointment with her, she spent a lot of time with me...first having a CONVERSATION about why I came to see her, and then giving me acupuncture. The appointment lasted for a little over 2 hours. Dr. Bailey is very knowledgeable. She knows TCM and acupuncture inside and out, and has so much expertise in how to stay healthy. I'm pretty well-informed about how TCM and acupuncture work and she was kind enough to just talk with me and share, instead of talking at me or down to me, as some other doctors I have met with do. She was also extremely gentle about the acupuncture treatment. I've had acupuncture before, so it wasn't new or overwhelming for me, but I want to point out specifically that she was so great about working with my body. And lastly, Dr. Bailey is a genuinely kind person. I felt cared for, not like just another appointment. She took care of me and the treatment she did has made me feel 1000 times better than I did before I saw her, and she was also very fair about what I need to do to help with healing.
