I love Dr. Adachi! She has been so helpful on my journey to dealing with chronic pain and immunity issues. She is very patient, welcoming, and super kind. She really takes the time to see each of her patients, and I always love a good chat with her! I've recommended a couple friends to her, one of which has seen Dr. Adachi recently and has had such a great experience and outcome from acupuncture. Dr. Adachi is an angel and has helped me immensely! Thank you so much Dr. Adachi! read more

I started seeing Dr Naomi after about a year and half of IVF. During that time I had struggled to create one viable embryo even after 6 cycles of egg retrieval. But after seeing Dr Naomi I was able to get an embryo after just one cycle AND she helped me through a successful embryo transfer on the first try. This was super critical because we had limited embryos and I'm so happy that I trusted Dr Naomi to make my embryo transfer successful. Beyond the success that we had Dr Naomi is great all around. Easy to talk to, convenient location, and flexible with my busy schedule. I am trying to convince my husband to get acupuncture for his frozen shoulder so hopefully we'll be back in Dr Naomi's office soon! read more

I'm beyond grateful to have found Naomi. She supported me through my IVF journey with so much warmth, compassion, and genuine care. Every session helped me feel calmer, more hopeful, and more connected to my body and I truly believe they played a big role in my successful transfer. She accepts insurance and makes the whole process so easy. Highly recommend her to anyone going through fertility treatment! read more

MADE MY CARPEL TUNNEL PAIN DECREASE BY 97%! My right wrist and hand were in excruciating pain. I have a pinched nerve and cannot get into UCLA until 10/31. Could not take the pain anymore. My hands were falling asleep multiple times a day, and the pain at night was waking me up. Fingers were so numb you could cut one off and I would not feel it. It was EXCRUCIATING! I was miserable. Went into this clinic on Thursday, September 4th with low expectations, but I was hopeful. I am SO GLAD I went in. The pain is almost non-existent now. My hand still falls asleep if I have it in a certain position, but the night pain is gone. I was even getting pain just from sitting on the couch and watching TV. ALL GONE. Dr. Adachi knows what she is doing. She put needles in my hand, wrist and even in my foot where she said was the root of the problem. She even put some pulsing thing on my hand. For about an hour after I left I still had pain. Thought I wasted my time and was so bummed. But then - it disappeared. It has been 4 days and I am still pain free. I am going back in this week for another session and will continue to go in if the pain comes back until October when I can get a nerve induction test. I am so so pleased with this service and highly recommend Dr. Adachi. read more

I originally started seeing Dr Adachi for digestive issues but quickly learned I was pregnant. Unfortunately I had an early miscarriage but learned that Dr Adachi was a fertility specialist. We adjusted the treatment and I was able to fall pregnant again in less than 6 months which I was not expecting at my age. I'm so relieved to now be through my first trimester and I truly believe the treatment, including the diet and health tips Dr Adachi provided helped significantly. I always felt very cared for and would recommend Dr Adachi to anyone. read more

I love this place and always leave feeling better. Acupuncture has helped my back pain. Highly recommend.

Sensei Naomi A. is a master of acupuncture. She knows Chinese, Japanese, and Korean techniques to offer you the best treatment. She's also trilingual! I have been to many acupuncturists for sports related injuries and have only found two that have been able to heal my ailments. When my original acupuncturist retired, I had to find a new one. After several attempts, I found Naomi and now my body is well on the path to full healing! I recommend her to my family and friends. read more

I'm so grateful for Dr. Adachi (Naomi)!! She's been helping me with fertility issues (low follicle count) I've been having and I can fortunately say that with her help, I am pregnant! She is so kind, understanding and knowledgeable. We even had an informal schedule of how many months we'd be on a certain acupuncture path to see if I'd get pregnant, and I got pregnant right on schedule!! I went to aculeafs office for facial wrinkles & weight loose. Dr. Adachi made me herbal tea, didnt like the taste first time but now I like that tea in warm water!!, I lost about 8 lb already. AcuLeaf Acupuncture is amazing. Naomi always takes her time and is very patient with her clients. I am new to acupuncture therapy and apprehensive, but Naomi was patient and gentle. I'm not always comfortable with needles, however, Naomi walked me through the process and reassured pain would be minimum- and it was :). The rooms are very clean and relaxing, it's always a therapeutic and Relaxing atmosphere during my therapy. read more

Naomi is an amazing and skilled practitioner! I have been getting acupuncture for years but then my previous doctor retired. I began to have severe pain again. Fortunately, I found AcuLeafs Acupuncture. As a physician myself, it was extremely important to me to find someone who is experienced, knowledgeable, and provides exceptional patient care. Naomi has helped me so much and I highly recommend her clinic. read more

Very warm and welcoming offices. This was my first time trying cupping and I thought it was an interesting experience, as I wasn't familiar with the benefits of cupping before coming here. Each session I left feeling more relaxed. The Torrance location looks very professional as the doctor has various items (teas? Herbs?) in her space that can be used for treatment. Definitely recommend giving this place a try! read more

Naomi is very knowledgeable. I've been coming to her for months now and she has helped me with many ailments that have improved significantly. This is a great alternative to western medicine, with less side effects. I've referred a few friends to her who also said her treatment has been very helpful. Amazing find! read more

Initially started going here with Dr. Lee but shortly after she retired and Dr. Naomi took over. I am terrified of needles but I was sooo tired of dealing with my menstrual cramps that I got over my fear and forced myself to find alternative treatment. I mentioned my fear and Dr. Naomi was very patient and gentle with me, even used the tiniest of needles. I went from having extremely heavy and painful periods with big clots that I had to use overnight pads along with super plus tampons and would sometimes still leak through in a matter of an hour. I now have normal periods that only last about 5 days, no more big clots and my cramps are very minor all thanks to Dr. Naomi! She is very kind, sweet and caring, look no further for an acupuncturist. read more

My first Acupuncture treatment for SIBO and I had amazing results. My stomach felt so good after and now I have bowel movements, thank you.

I've been going to Dr. Naomi since she took the business over from Dr. Lee. At first I was skeptical about the change in doctor, but thought I would continue and give Dr. Naomi a try and am so glad I did. She is thoughtful , thorough and truly cares about her patients. After every session I feel rejuvenated and all my pain is relieved. Once in awhile it takes a few sessions to totally release my joints, muscles and improve every time. I have a lot of titanium in me and she still works miracles. She is Blessed with a beautiful caring healing sole. She helped my niece to be able to get pregnant after trying for awhile. After her 2nd session she was pregnant. I moved to Arizona recently, but has been back in forth. I was afraid after I stopped going to her and stopped for 7 weeks I would have to start all over to get the full wholeness and balance she brings my body to. But I felt like I never stopped going and stayed in tune while I was away. There is nothing that Dr Naomi cannot fix. Thank you so much Dr. Naomi, you truly changed my life for the better. read more

I haven't completed a review on yelp in a really long time but my recent experience at Nu Life Acupuncture has really impacted my life that I had to speak up and spread the good word. Reasons why I sought out an acupuncturist: 1. I was always exhausted ALL the time and I didn't have time during the work week for much other than work. It was hard even going to the gym because I was so dead tired. 2. I've always had painful cramps. 3. I developed this cystic acne after college. It didn't seem severe, as I only had 2 or 3 at any given time, but it was still nonetheless unsightly and embarrassing, and the scarring was awful! Results: After consistently attending my acupuncture appointments for about six months, I've significantly felt a change in such a positive and noticeable way that I consider it to be life-changing. My energy level has increased by leaps and bounds. My scars, previously red and required a coat of concealer, faded significantly due to my acu facials. My cramps have decreased as well. The acupuncturist, Mrs. Lee, is so sweet and caring and she's been a nurse for over 20 years so she has quite a bit of experience on the Western medicine side, balancing out her Eastern medicine practice. You can tell this clinic is her passion and she really cares about her patients, which is a difficult trait to find in health service providers. It seems that most service providers are more interested in squeezing the most money out of each patient in the shortest time period possible and not providing the level of personal attention that's necessary. Definitely NOT the case here....=) Lastly, I have to mention that my favorite part of the week is my acupuncture appointment. I can honestly say that some of the best naps that I've recently had were on the acupuncturist's table during a session!! I highly recommend trying out Nu Life. I've been to a couple other clinics and it was not quite the same experience. A bigger bonus...totally affordable treatments... read more

I was not a believer of eastern medicine until my appt with Dr. Lee. I have a stress fracture in my right ankle that would not heal. I had even seen my sports med doctor who works on Olympic athletes. I needed something different and growing up in a Korean home I was familiar with acupuncture and decided to give it a try. I'm truly impressed at how knowledgable and professional Dr. Lee is. I was nervous going in and skeptical but immediately Dr.Lee's sweet demeanor put me at ease. She not only focused on my injured ankle but also examined my entire health and explained everything thoroughly. I'm going back in a few days for a follow up. Her office is a gem. read more

I've had issues with my ankle and feet due to some old sports injuries that kept resurfacing. Due to increased pain, I went to NuLife Acupuncture to see Dr. Lee to see what they could do to help me with my situation after receiving a referral from a past patient. I felt extremely comfortable in her care. She not only spent the time necessary to understand my situation, but also to get a good grasp of what was going on. While trying to make me feel as comfortable as she could, she helped to alleviate some of the pain during that session through acupuncture. Although I am still working out some of my issues, I'm glad to know that with Dr. Lee's treatments and advice in regards to my life and how I live it, that I'll be in a much better situation. read more

Dr. Lee is truly a gifted healer! I been to so many acupuncture places in LA. I can name so many of them but, Dr. Lee is the best that I can recommend. She take care of patient like her own family with so much care. I trust her so much after she healed me in so many ways. I had IVF and during the process she treated me and I had a great result. Anyone who is dealing with infertility, definitely worth to visit her. She also treated me on tight muscle, headache and etc. I am a big believer of acupuncture and she is the best that I ever met. She can also treat allergy as well! Just trust her and follow her direction, you'll be a happy camper like me! read more

Hello, Dr. Young Lee is a wonderful, kind person as well as a Doctor in Acupunture. I found her reviews on Yelp and decided to try her services when I developed a skin rash due to stress. She took her time in listening to my concerns and was simply a kind person. She was kind enough to offer a discount and really was accommodating. I only want the best and thus far, Dr. Lee is someone I definitely will see again. Actually next week lol Please see her if you need acupuncture services. You will not be disappointed! read more

Dr. Naomi is amazing! My wife and I have had acupuncture in the past with varying amounts of success. We were looking for some treatment when we found Aculeafs. We started going to this clinic because it was close to our house, but when Dr. Naomi began to work on my wife and I, we realized we found an acupuncturist we wanted to keep back coming to. She is always flexible as we continually test her with last minute requests for treatment. She has helped me with keeping a chronic intestinal disease under control and has kept chronic pain in my back at bay for months. She is always positive, very knowledgeable, has multiple avenues for relief, and cares about the treatment she provides. She has done acupuncture all over my body and provided herbal tea's for various ailments of mine. The facility is super clean and as she just finished renovating the entire office earlier this year. We are happy to say she is our acupuncturist and we recommend all of our friends and family to go to her! read more

"Is it real? or is it all in your head as a placebo affect?" Honestly, I don't give a crap. I went to this doctor after going for 2 years of physical therapy for a work related injury I developed in 2005. (stretch yo hands regularly, foo! take breaks and make sure your desk is ergonomic!) My hand felt so much better after the pain created from a lot of typing recently. I was honestly skeptical that sticking pins into your body will make pain go away.. seriously, think about it - pins. in. your. body. =/= pain....? But really! the needles are sterile, and feel like a small pinch. And my hands felt better after 2 sessions, but I booked a 3rd just to make sure it was gone. Whether my hand is healed or not, I don't really care. The point is, my pain is gone, and that's something that hasn't happened with expensive physical therapy. Dr. Lee is the kindest, most patient and soft-spoken doctor I've ever been to, and she was really sweet with a full-session even after I was caught in traffic and came 15 mins late. Seriously, my regular doctors make ME wait 45 mins for 4.7mins of consultation. I know, I've timed. If you're skeptical, give it a try and see for yourself. Most important, keep an open mind. That's all I can say. *does ergonomic stretches after yelping* read more

Not for the meek, as Dr. Lee is heavy handed with the needles. HOWEVER, I started seeing her Jan 2012 to help with getting pregnant, within a couple treatments/ less than a month my cycle started to normalIze. I got pregnant first week of July... At 36 years old. my hormones had been out of whack for about 5+ years, and she helped me get back to normal in less than 6 months. I'm guessing had I done herbs too, it would've been faster. Thnx Dr. Lee! My son turned 1 this past March! I may have to come back soon if we decide to try for #2! read more

I was referred to Dr. Lee from an old friend that she had completely transformed from looking old, run down and sick all the time to young healthy and vibrant. It is a great pleasure and honor to write this review on behalf of Dr Young Lee, Nu Life Acupuncture. At 58 years of age I am very picky about whom I want to spend my hard earned money on, especially when it comes to my heath and well being. Throughout my years I have been treated by several very good acupuncture practitioners, so I have a certain knowledge and expectation about what I am looking for in a health care professional and I am really glad to say Dr Lee truly exceeds my expectations. I have been receiving treatment from Dr Lee for approximately 1 1/2 years. I first heard about her from a friend whom is extremely selective about most every detail and decision. Consequently, I felt very confident about her rec of Dr Lee. I was glad to hear about 5 other professionals from my place of work whom receive care from Dr Lee. They are all very happy with her outstanding service and each continues their ongoing treatment with Dr Lee. Dr Lee combines Western medicine with Eastern medicine, for she is a trained registered nurse as well as earning her Phd in acupuncture. Dr Lee is extremely professional in her approach. You can tell she loves her work and wants to help each individual whom walks through her door live healthier and happier. Dr. Lee is always on time, an outstanding listener, and very patient. Dr Lee has the highest professional standards and she is happy to explain any questions I may have concerning my treatment. Dr Lee always wants to know how my body and mind are doing so she can prepare the appropriate treatment. She will provide as much time as needed and I think she is very fair in terms of her expense for service. Although I have heard many positive responses to her herbal offerings I have not utilized this aspect of her service. However, I am defiantly open and considering herbal treatment for the future. Without any reservation I give Dr Young Lee my highest recommnedation. Dr Lee is a real jewel and a good friend to the world! read more
