That's right, PVPV used to be K-6 all in one building. Very hard to believe. The students graduating this year (2014) have never known NE St. Johns County to not have more than one elementary school. If i was planning to raise little rugrats of my own, I would definitely find a way to live in this part of the county as I would want them to attend this school. I'm sure all the teachers I had have long since retired, but this school still has - and will probably keep - a great reputation. As someone that lives in the neighborhood, the only thing I could complain about would be the traffic in the mornings. But it's really not THAT bad and they've got it down to a science.

The teachers are excellent, the parents are highly involved, and the principal is very skilled at managing the school. She is also accommodating and open to making time to speak to parents. Later, when I called, they said the tour could have been done that day or rescheduled, completely contradicting what I was told in person. Their dismissive attitude, lack of communication, and unprofessional behavior make me feel this is not a school I can trust with my child.

We have lived in multiple cities, and our kids have gone to public schools, private schools, parochial schools, and now we homeschool our oldest 4. We're incredibly particular about who teaches our children, and Goddard continues to exceed our expectations. The teachers truly form loving relationships with the kids, and the children are taught kindness and basic routines from the beginning. The turnover is low, and it is obvious that this school does a great job of treating their staff with respect and love - which translates to the kids. They feel like an extension of family.
