I'm shocked no one else has raved about this place yet! This isn't my first La Petite my child has…read moreattended as he spent the summer at a location in Northwestern South Carolina that always looked and sounded like an ABSOLUTE FREE FOR ALL!!!! My child has been at this location for almost 2 years now and I couldn't be happier! The staff is amazing! The curriculum is teaching my child more than I ever expected in a early preschool setting (in the fall, my child will be in PVK). It's nice to see the same staff (teachers) over and over again meaning the turnover rate is limited. There is a great outdoor playground for all children to enjoy. The only issue I have is the location. It is 5 or 6 car-lengths from a stop light with a left turn median. This all boils down to a nightmare to get in and/or out of the parking lot on a regular basis. However, I'm not gonna fault La Petite for this issue. Ask me anytime anywhere and I'll say this location is great!

I picked my child up on several occasions with injuries that were never reported. My child was…read moreinjured at this childcare center 3 times I noticed the injuries at pick up that were never reported. The teachers and directors did not inform me of any incidents, nor did they ever write any incident reports. I spoke with both directors Ashley Estep and Jenna Davis several times about my safety concerns; they both did nothing to make a safer environment for my child. We observed several times on the camera's kids horse playing roughly without supervision. The classrooms are over packed with only one teacher most of the day which might be causing the lack of supervision. I withdrew my child after the last unreported incident that left a severe scratch on his face. I am extremely disappointed with the care that my child received while attending LePetite Academy St Johns Bluff. This childcare center lacks efforts to keep children safe. These teachers and directors are obviously not monitoring the kids properly.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. My son at the ripe age of…read more2 years old and never having been in school before was expelled on his 3rd day of school for being able to open doors and was classified as a "flight risk". First of all, WHY was my son able to get out if he's being supervised. Secondly, why would you say you can't expect your teachers to run after a student when they're there for a reason. He's 2. He shouldn't be expected to act like a robot. He does not have adhd or anything of the sort to classify him as an "overly difficult" child. Another issue is, nobody could tell us specifics of why he was considered a flight risk other than opening the classroom door. First we were told y'all would give him 2 weeks to adjust to being in school then not even 8 hours later we were told by the end of the school week then the very next day it was, he's expelled. WILD behavior. Not to mention on his last day when I arrived to pick him up, he was being "disciplined" in the front office and I was never called or told he was up front. I lived 5 mins away and would have came to get him immediately instead of yall holding him in the front office. Again. He's TWO!! As a previous preschool teacher and someone who has talked with numerous other preschool teachers AND a child psychiatrist, we are ALL disgusted by the behavior and treatment towards my two year old child.
