Wow! Thats the…read morefirst world that springs to mind, and is by far THE BEST Chinese Restaurant I have been to bar none. When first seeing the outside of the building you are greeted with a oriental themed front, with an overhanding roof and two guard lions outside. Once through the double doors you come across a cozy layout, with roughly 8-10 tables of varying sizes. Not a huge place the layout used to comply with a local public house, however the decor is great with glowing red windows (obviously behind a fake wall) and great decoration throughout. Seating is ample and the ambiance isn't overpowering. Service Is great, the people are helpful and attentive without being too nosy or prying... which on occasion is a fine balance. Drinks were offered as soon as we sat down and menus handed out without a fuss. Food This is sit down buffet style menu though please don't be put off with the word 'buffet'. Your meals are all freshly prepared and served to you as you would a traditional restaurant. For £13.95 per head you get ample choice of starters and main courses. Myself I have tried almost everything on the menu (not in one visit!) and I absolutely love: Crispy Seaweed (Fried cabbage usually) Barbecue Ribs Salt and Chilli Ribs - vegetarian option - the vegetable mix with lettuce wrap. Oh and the soups are great too: The Crab meat and sweetcorn soup is my fav Main courses are all what you would expect with the addition of Thia Cuisine too. Again I loved: Garlic and Chilli King Prawns with Egg Fried Rice ( Prawns are butterflied) In conclusion if your in the area this is a great place to go and well worth a visit! p.s. limited parking at the front, otherwise parking is on the street which can be busy at times.

They have anything from salt and pepper wings to bowls to wraps! I love the fact that there are a number of protein options and they have vegan options as well. This is a pretty chill spot where you can go to grab a bite for lunch or for dinner right after work. It's definitely a well liked spot as soon after we arrived it got rather busy. We all chose the bowls, and you can get it with either rice, fries, lettuce, or half/half. I'll tell you it's beyond filling and for a reasonable price too! I got the sticky chicken with half salt & pepper fries and half rice. Other things we ordered were the salt & pepper prawns and the beef. That beef was seasoned just right! On top of that they have a number of different sauces you can add. The sweet and sour sauce took it to another level and was my favorite followed by the garlic herb mayo. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and if you ever find your way in MCR, ‍to Salt & Pepper because you won't be disappointed!

To me the clean lines, white leather upholstery and blue lighting made it feel cold and sterile, almost intimidating. Yet after a couple of Stolichnaya Vanil and Tonic cocktails served by a very friendly bartender, somehow the colour scheme felt calming and tranquil. Funny that. Once I was sat down, it only got better. This Cantonese restaurant and Dim Sum bar offers high quality cuisine and great service. We started off with a mixed plate of dim sum and a couple of steamed char siu bao (sweet buns filled with barbecue pork, and a personal favourite of mine) to share, which were practically inhaled by my table in seconds. For my main I ordered Pacifica sirloin steak, a twist on a regular sirloin as it's prepared in the wok with onions, straw mushrooms and oyster sauce. The meat was cooked perfectly medium rare as requested and for £12 was a healthy size and premium quality. Absolutely no complaints. My friend ordered the hot and spicy Sichuan mussels which were the talk of the table: served with crushed ginger, garlic and chilli sauce, they had some kick to them. Somehow, with cocktails and wine included, our bill came to less than £30 a head. You didn't see any of us complaining, it could have been twice the price and we'd still have been happy!

The place opens around 4.30 monday to friday and i think a bit earlier at the weekends and prices are around £6 weekday and a bit more at weekends because the choice of food is more inside is quite pleasant with the usual resturant look about it and you dont feel like you have to dress up. inside you have your usual lay out of buffet food from vegable range to chicken.beef and duck as you help yourself to what you want. They do have a policy that any food not eaten wilL be charge £5 on the bill which is fair enough as some eyes are bigger than their bellies and drinks come at a extra cost. Empy food dishes are replace very quick so you dont feel you have missed out on something you wanted to try They also have a around a one and a half time limited which is fair enough and long enough for anyone to eat. I personally found the food very good for the price and none of it was greasy or oily as i have had in other chinese resturants .although as with most places the icecream wasnot good but you can have a fair decent size piece of cake or some fresh fruit was also avaliable I would go again as it was value for money and well cook!
