An amazing & thrilling 2 hour experience. Myself and everybody in my party had a blast, and we all felt more than satisfied with the cost. Everything went smooth & the entire adventure was outstanding. Saw multiple dolphins, picturesque Miami views of both landmark and unusual sites. I really enjoyed the uplifting feeling, air breezing through my hair as the boat zoomed through the open sea. Captain Matt, our tour guide, was the element that made this outing truly special and an adventure to remember. In addition to being very professional and personable, Matt was also extremely knowledgeable in everything to do with Miami: history, culture, architecture, marine life, realestate and more. Happy, happy, happy!!

3rd time the charm? So my fiance booked us on an afternoon tour (3pm?) the second day we arrived, however, due to the weather, Matt our tour guide recommended against going on that day and offered for us to come back for the 9am tour the next day. He did kindly bring us around the dock to show us some BIG fishes that swim up close to the pier to feed off left overs that fishermen throw back in the water, and a cluster of jelly fishes that are in the water during this time in Florida. I thought that was interesting in itself, and Matt just came off to me as a very nice guy. Came back the next day at 9am as planned and the weather was still not suitable to take the boat out. Slightly disappointed, he recommended us to grab some breakfast at a close by restaurant and come back at 11am. FINALLY, at 11am the second day back, we set sail in the small, 6 person boat. The seats were actually quite comfy, and there's a place for you to put your belongs underneath the seat to keep them dry. The boat did go fast at times, but it was such a smooth ride, I was impressed. And, you really do see a lot of Miami on this tour. Matt's very nice, friendly and informative and doesn't mind going out of the way to find the dolphins if he spots them. =) Overall, this was a very wonderful tour because you really see so much of Miami in a 2hr boat ride. It's smooth, relaxing and very pleasurable. I would recommend bring a light layer as it does get a bit chilly (in Dec), and going 45mph on a boat will kick up some breeze for you. Worth the price you pay. Definitely a highlight of the trip.

Ocean Force is absolutely the best experience you can get! What it's not: it's not like all the other boats tour that cram 50-100 people aboard, give you a limited and boring tour of the area with a person telling corny jokes over a crackling speaker. What it is: A small, impeccable boat with only 6 passengers, an intimate and unique tour experience, with a knowledgeable and professional captain that covers an impressive area without feeling rushed in about two hours. It's a fabulous mix of a scenic adventure, incredible local history, celebrity homes, wildlife viewing and fun facts. Captain Louis grew up in these waters and knows them well. He was professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. Hearing his personal stories about the area when he was young was fascinating and touching, you can tell he really cares. I learned so much and had a blast at the same time. My kids absorbed more than I thought they would and really loved when we went fast.

My boyfriend did this as a surprise for my bday. It was awesome. They took us to all the islands and we got to see all the expensie houses and around star and fisher island and around the crates and everything. It was a really cool experience. They took us to some places that are only accessible by boat only. It was a very cool and informative experience highly highly recommended.

This morning our group of 5, 4 adults and my 8 yr. old daughter went out for a tour with Captain Matt. Being a maximum 6 customer boat we had a personal tour, and Matt was amazing. Super friendly, well informed with interesting stories, and a safe and thoughtful boat driver. We spotted some Iguanas, dolphins, starfish, tarpon, barracuda, parrot fish and varied birds. I highly recommend the tour around Miami and to Stiltsville, especially if you only have a short time in Miami. It really is the only way to truly get a good look at the city of Miami and its surroundings. The tours of Star, Fisher, and Biscayne Island were awesome too. Matt was very aware of an incoming storm, and adjusted our plans to suit so we didn't get caught in the rain, so we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks again Matt.

The best part of the trip was how we had the boat exclusively to ourselves! I didn't know it'd be a private tour until the day I came. So, the boat was just a total of 3 people (captain included). The water temperature was great and the clarity was decent. We even saw two dolphins! You meetup at Whiskey Joe's at the marina and you can start your excursion immediately. I liked that you didn't need to wait around much. I was able to see some cool looking fish, a bottom feeder and a crab. You get 2 hours for the snorkeling and you're not required to wear any life vests (in fact, we weren't offered any and I didn't see any). The water is super shallow so it didn't seem dangerous at all. The water is also salty and easy to float in. The boat was nearby the main snorkeling area. The bad: The area for snorkeling was pretty small. It was an artificial reef where the fish were but outside of that area there is just seagrass and there's no living things to observe. The website says snorkeling starts at $75/pp and up but that's misleading b/c that's only the price if you have 8+ people. When I came to the marina, the worker who had me sign paperwork said that "$25/hour tip is required" when I got an email saying 15% tip is optional. My husband clarified and he said "yes, it's required" but later retracted his statement after I clarified that it was strange to give tip upfront before we even went on the excursion. However, I did already give 15% tip upfront on 50% of the value and then Zelled an additional $25 tip to the captain himself afterward. The cost for snorkeling ended up being $407 for 2 people (pricey). The interesting: The captain swam with us to lead us to the reef and then swam back and was mostly on his phone.

The Brunch was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel buffet style. The selection of what to eat was pretty good. The best part was once you get on the boat. When you get one they give your Valentine a rose and some chocolate, which was a nice touch. They also had Mimosas during your trip around the Miami Skyline. Now I will say this I which the music on the boat would've been better suited for Valentine's Day. They played more of the Electric/ Techno music but it was still a vibe so can't complain to much about it. Will definitely try to come back on other day. I was a nice experience.

Let me start by saying that I love that this service started from Miami Beach to Downtown and vice…read moreversa, it is GREAT to finally have a ferry, so I am very pleased about it and the ride is beautiful Yesterday I took it for the first time, the boat is great, very comfortable, just perfect, but a few things need improving, I hope that with time things can get better, first of all the slope getting on the boat from Miami Beach is very steep, I have an ankle brace and it was not easy to get on the boat, it is not disabled friendly, then the website, there should not be a service fee to buy tickets on the website, this saves time for the personnel on the boat selling tickets, why a service fee? Also, I could not find anywhere the $3 commuter tickets or packages, I have seen ads from you where you advertise that but, I could not find these anywhere on the website and then, most important of all the delay, we were there 15 minutes before departure as requested and nobody was there, at 6 pm the time the ferry was supposed to leave nobody there, no ferry, no personnel, so I called and they told me the ferry was 15/20 minutes late, I told the guy it would have been good if they texted the people that purchased the tickets online given they have all our details, he said it was posted on the website...............so, who goes back on the website once you have purchased the tickets? You should implement an automatic text alert for the customers that purchased the tickets informing them of the delay, so at 6.15 pm I did receive a text, this was 15 minutes from the original departure time, the alerts should be sent 15 minutes before departure or even earlier if you know there are delays, but ok, room for improvement, the problem is that we only left at 6.40 pm........ 40 minutes late; if you are planning to have commuters using this service you need to make sure that the ferry leaves on time otherwise you will never get this part of business, people need to arrive on time at work and if they are relying on the transportation you provide, you should really make sure to be on time, 5 minutes late it is fine but 40 minutes late it is definitely not. One more thing, you advertise that the crossing takes 20 minutes, yesterday by the time you leave and the time you get there and get off the ferry, it took 40 minutes, I think this is an important information especially for commuters that need to know the right time, if it is like that all the time, maybe you should specify it, I don't mind the 40 minutes but if I had to go to work I would want to know. Overall I love the service but you need to improve the service and if you expand to other places, I saw on the website that you will be going to Coconut Grove in the future, I will for sure use it but please get better so next time I can give you a 5 star @poseidonferry

They are passionate about the Everglades, preserving it, and really love what they're doing. For about hour, we zipped and stopped around the park, through channels in between the high saw grass, over grassy flats, and within a few canals dredged many years ago. The fresh air felt great and I think maybe my blood pressure eased for a few moments. We saw wildlife, including a peregrine falcon, other birds and of course, many alligators, either resting on the grass or swimming off to do whatever it is they do. The guides I think know pretty much where to find the alligators, some of which have names. River of Grass is one of the first swamp tours west of Miami off of highway 41 past the casino. The boats take you pretty far into the Everglades where you don't see or hear any civilization, only the quiet rustle of the grass, i.e. when the engines are not powering the boat thru the glades (why can't they make a quieter engine?). The pictures I took really don't do it justice.
