Check in went smooth, room was clean, and limited but close parking. Make sure your package specifies whether parking fees are included. Conveniently about 3 blocks away from a busy intersection of the boardwalk of Hollywood Beach. They provide beach chairs but they had mold stains so I left them alone. Pros: 1. Clean room, I could slightly smell the bleach in the cabinets which is a good thing in my opinion 2. Very clean bathroom, looks recently updated 3. Good staff (the short thicker girl i checked out with was exceptionally helpful Cons: 1. Room had a humid, musty odor (but it was clean 2. Old stove and blankets 3. Parking fee 4. No housekeeping service

First time in Miami! I came to take care of my friend since she was having a BBL procedure done. The first two days we went on an adventure and this is the perfect location to stay at if you want to go to the beach, go shopping and eat at great restaurants. Everything is walking distance! Walking to the beach is like 6min!! You are right on ocean drive and right behind north beach. The environment was great! So many plants and places to hang out outside. Everyone that I meet were really friendly and welcoming. The staff was so helpful. Every time I needed something I would just go to the office and they will answer all my questions and make sure I have everything I needed to restock my room. They have a coin based washer and dryer in the far back to do your laundry :) our room was spacious for two people. It came with a queen bed, loveseat, flat screen TVs, a kitchen and of course the bathroom. I had such a great stay here and I will make future reservations again. I encourage anyone that's looking for a relaxing get away to stay here.

Rusted light in bathroom with a lightbulb out

Pros: you are extremely close to the beach and boardwalk, check-in and check-out was easy, there was a large refrigerator in the room, there were some beach chairs available to use, and there is internet available. Negatives: the sheets and towels are extremely rough and scratchy, most of the bathroom fixtures were rusted, the provided beach towels are tiny and old, there is no daily maid service unless you request it, and no continental breakfast other than coffee at the front desk. Good hotel if you don't plan on staying in your room very much. Our room and kitchen area seemed to be much smaller and less equipped than neighboring rooms. May want to ask what is included in your room.

ADDITIONAL PARKING ACROSS THE STREET. Needed to start the review out with that, so no one else will have to go through what we did. When we got back at 10pm there were no open parking spots, which was frustrating because we paid to park. The office is not open overnight, and no one answers the phone, and the voicemail is full, so we had no way of knowing about the additional parking across the street. No one told us and it isn't advertised anywhere, including not in front of the additional lot. The only parking anywhere else around is paid parking, which would be about $50 to stay overnight, which was very frustrating after already paying for a spot. We were lucky enough that we ran into another guest who had asked about the parking earlier that day when he got back to no spaces available, and he informed us about the other lot. Our only other complaint was that our check in was supposed to be at 3, we called earlier that day to see if we could get an early check in and they said no, which was understandable. We got there at 3 and the room was not ready, and they asked if we could come back at 4 instead. While this was frustrating because we were limited to where we could go without the ability to change out of our winter clothes, we understood many places are understaffed currently. We walked the boardwalk while we waited the additional hour until it started to rain, luckily just around 4 so we walked back to check in to our room, just to find out it still wasn't ready and they asked us to come back in another half an hour. We were very limited to what to do in the mean time as it was raining. Finally at 4:56 our room was ready. We asked the woman working if there was anything the hotel could do to make up for this mishap and the woman was very apologetic and polite, but informed us we'd have to wait until the next day to speak to her manager. When we went to talk to the manager the next day she said that she wasn't the manager and there was no manager, and was extremely unpleasant. It was more than just her being rude, she was very mean for no reason. We wanted to work the problems out with her rather than bash the hotel as a whole, because it really is a beautiful and well kept property, but she made it a lot worse. The only reason I'm giving three stars rather than 1 is because the other staff members, including the woman working the first day and the maintenance and cleaning workers were lovely and the room was beautiful. This hotel is not meant to be luxury, it is homey and cute. It has a full kitchen and it's very clean and well kept. It's a beautiful hotel and if it were not for Natasha we would probably stay here again. The two flaws were easily made up for by how beautiful the place was, but it was not worth dealing with the rude manager.

I stayed at this hotel on February 6, 2026 and had to leave out of the room because of Bed Bugs.

We traveled as a family of three - husband, wife and…read moredaughter (8) The resort is located right on the beach unlike others that are across the street or require walking. It's also situated right on the boardwalk so you can easily take a nice walk in the morning, grab a quick scoop of ice cream (like 10 spots to choose from), shop for souvenirs or shirts and grab a quick diner. This made our stay super convenient because everything we needed was there! Most of the restaurants on the boardwalk are more fast casual with lots of Italian options. This worked well for our family because 2/3 of us are vegetarian. We did find a really nice upscale restaurant called GG's waterfront and it was only a two block walk from our hotel so not Ubers were needed. This made our trip to be honest. We love high end restaurants with fresh/quality food and this check every box. It's also situated for the most incredible sunset. So make sure you go. As for food the rest of the trip - for breakfast we just grabbed a Sammy from the coffee shop inside the hotel and they had some good options. Breakfast Sammie's, burritos (pre made but they warm them), fruit bowls, yogurt bowls, you name it. Then for lunch we always ate at the pool an really looked forward to it. This friend shrimp was outta this world and it's served with honey mustard which was so yummy. Prolly some of the best fried shrimp I've ever eaten at a pool. The we always got the cedar salad which was refreshing and we all split it. The only thing I wish they had more of was a nice guac - I'm talking with nice additions and super fresh / tasty. Then for diner we ate at the resort two nights - once on the upper desk restaurant overlooking the love music so we could hear it but not be in the action. The weekend nights are a little rowdy for our daughter. We were able to watch some sports on the outdoor tvs, listen to live music, watch the FlowRider and eat. The food was not great to be honest but the ambiance was incredible. Then one night we ate at the steakhouse at the property. Service was weird just felt awkward lol. But the food was good. The deviled eggs were top notch and some of the deserts. For drinks we always grabbed a South Sode gin drink from the coffee shop. If you like gin then it's a must. And at the pool our daughter lived on strawberry daiquiris (virgin) and we drank 1 pina colada (so much sugar) a day and then switched to mojitos (less sugar). We loved all the pool servers but they could prolly double the service at the pool bc people were kind of always waiting. Cabanas - we got a cabanas two of the days and it was incredible. It includes credit towards food and if you get one with a working tv you can watch tv. The NCAA tournaments were on so we got the cabanas two of the days we wanted access to the to each the games. It was also nice to have space and shade to relax. Treat yourself once day and grab one. FlowRider - WTF this was so cool! We're new to this and it was so fun for older kids. Our daughter was (8) did it two days and loved it. The instructors are so kind and helpful to those trying to learn. One of the trainers is in the top ten of all FlowRiders in the US. I did see some adults doing it but with a bad back we didn't want to risk it. The rooms were nice and cozy. We had one king and then ordered a pull away for our daughter. We do wish that they had more rooms with additional beds for the kids. Even the suites didn't include more beds. We prefer two kings, or king and a pull out and last resort would be two queens. I think they could def make the rooms better suitable for families. Construction - this was the only frustrating part to the end of our vacation. The last two days ( during spring break ) they were door construction right by the main pool and it was so loud that one of the days we had to leave the pool. Just seems like a really weird time to do construction The other negative was the main pool didn't have entertainment any of the days we were there (Saturday (night) - Thursday). It would have been nice to have some trivia, live music, or something. Also, for anyone else wondering if Margaritaville is child friendly it certainly is. They have a dedicated pool for kids with a small water slide, waterfall and activities. However, our daughter didn't want to hang out in the "baby pool" so we stayed at the main pool which had older kids and some other smaller kids. I'd say a majority of the people at the main pool were older kids and adults. Overall we would certainly come back to this hotel as we really enjoyed our stay!

Room wasn't up to cleanliness standards. Broken ironing board. Carpet had MULTIPLE stains. The building has too much wasted space. The lobby is grand and enormous for NO reason. The lobby felt small- there was a conference on one side of the main floor and a small lobby, seating area, check in desk and gift shop. The other side was the Latitudes Restaurant and outdoor bar. The hotel is dated, in need of renovations. Especially the bathroom. Cracked tiles in the shower, plus grout stains & the shower floor was very slippery. The views were great- we had an ocean view. This hotel does a good job controlling humidity inside the hotel- which I really wanted to note since most Florida hotels, especially close to the water, have a mildew scent and feel moist. It was dreary and rainy during our stay- but we did get to walk the boardwalk and beach a little in between rain breaks.

The breakfast is included with lots of hot foods and plenty of pastries and fruit. Unfortunately for our stay, they were having maintenance issues with the close elevator broken down and a horrid smell coming from the hallway in between. I also asked for a recommendation for local Caribbean food and she absolutely nailed it! We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with two beds. The room was spacious with a comfortable couch, kitchenette, and desk area. It's a little dated, but honestly totally acceptable for a beach town. The hot breakfast in the morning was just what we needed before heading out, and when we realized we forgot a toothbrush they kindly provided one right away.
