Unfortunately they didn't even let me taste the food.
Let me explain. I have a (terribly annoying) gluten allergy, which means soya sauce is off limits to me. At ALL Chinese places I have ever been to (even in many different countries), the kitchen has always been happy to prepare me any meal without soya sauce. This makes it so I have quite a lot of choices on the menu. My allergy has NEVER EVER been a problem. Ocean Dragon on the other hand? Well, they refused to let me have anything. They basically showed me the door.
On the front page of their website they write "Allergies catered for". This was the main reason I walked in. More like "Allergies? Fuck off"
Taking a peak at the kitchen it didn't actually look like anyone was in there. All the lights were out, and it was deserted. So how does this work? Do they just pop the finished meals in the microwave? I guess so.
It seemed extremely dodgy, I'd look elsewhere. read more
