The Girl who called me Christina was INCREDIBLY RUDE and professional. I called back to Cancel my appointment and she told me if I miss two more appointments that I Cant return to the dental office but reminder it wasn't my fault I wasn't going to be there for my appointment. I was going to reschedule when I get a new dental insurance but I will not be returning. She continued to tell me how she sent information to my phone but I never received it. and she continued to repeat her self with the worst attitude. I filled out a new client paperwork but I have been there before. I will not be Returning and will also not recommend this dental office to family and friends. they need to have people at the front desk that actually wanna help and care for their clients. She took the time to answer every question thoughtfully and ensured that I felt informed, comfortable, and at ease throughout my visit. Her professionalism, communication skills, and extensive knowledge of the practice were truly impressive. Chanel and the front-office team provided impeccable service from beginning to end. Apparently I lucked out because after that they were booked until April, but I was impressed. The office is pretty unassuming from the outside, but the waiting room inside is great. Everyone seemed happy to be there, like they actually liked their jobs. And Dr. Horwitz was the BEST! He has the greatest bed side manner I've ever experienced. The whole time he was very pleasant and joked around. He made me feel at ease, which is nice when you're about to go under the drill. He was also very quick - 5 cavities in around an hour, when my old dentist would have done 4 cavities in 2 hours. I'll definitely be coming back if I can. I have been terrified of the dentist for some time. Kind of like the car dealership, you have a go-between who talks billing and insurance with you away from the nurse and dentist. It's discrete and comfortable without pressure. My nurse (dental hygienist) was Susan? Or Sandy? God she was an angel. She was so kind to me breaking down and upset and in pain. She made me feel so comfortable talking about stuff and offering anything I might need. My dentist was Dr Taylor who was incredibly knowledgeable and proficient. I got out what needed to come out and I even scheduled an appointment for regular maintenance later this month. I was made comfortable to be there, whether I needed nitrous or a valium, either are available. And they make sure you are physically comfortable with numbing. Mentally comfortable is hard, but true kindness shines through in the folks who work there. I got a kids "reward" (shark plushie) to hold while I had my procedure. When I left I got a "goodie bag" with full instructions on what I had done, extra gauze, and an emergency card. It's a little hinky getting in with the road construction on witchduck road. But soon as your turn on Grayson, by the church, it's there. There's an employee entrance on the witchduck side and another saying Ste 200 on the side, even though the dentist is Ste 100, this is the door you go in.

When we first moved here I took my daughter to a pediatric dentist only for a scared little girl become verbally abused by the dentist. I told that dentist that what he did was unnecessary and that we wouldn't be back, and to pray to His God that I wasn't going to sue him for verbal abuse and walked out! Funny thing, I can't remember where that happened at, but the incident I definitely remember! If my husband had heard him, the dentist would be picking up his teeth up off the floor. My turn to find one, loved the office staff, dentists and the dental hygienists! My husband loves them, I love them and when my daughter had a panic attach about pulling a baby tooth out, the newly hired Dr. Hefflefinger, Dr. Heff to the kids, walked in with his Elvis do! All smiles, talking and playing with my daughter until she relaxed and he got her tooth out. I just love that man! LOL.... After that first day with Dr. Heff, she is willing to see Dr. White if Dr. Heff is too busy! Heck! Dr. Heff works on my teeth too! So if I could give this place my true rating it would be a 10!
