Mr. Hernandez analyzed and fix my Mitsubishi 3000GT to keep it running smoothly. Since then I bring all of my vehicles to him. He is great at diagnosing the problem and explaining the repair and cost involved, including the various repair options. I appreciate his honest, efficient, and effective repair work on my cars and I often keep his business card with me to pass around to my friends when they are searching for an good reliable mechanic!

Do not be fooled by the overwhelmingly positive reviews, these mechanics are either shameless scammers or utterly incompetent. I asked these gentlemen to do a pre-purchase style, all encompassing inspection on my vehicle. The only thing I can lend them credit for is that the inspection itself was seemingly thorough as they provide a report with photos and details about what they looked at and found, but this is where the satisfactory service ends and the cartoonishly greedy and fraudulent, stereotypical scammer mechanic antics begin. - I was charged $200 for the aforementioned inspection after being led to believe it would cost me $182, the least of their crimes. - Quoted $1000 for spark plugs replacement this job is a little more involved for my particular vehicle due to a plenum gasket, but if you're reading this and you don't know anything about cars just know this is a criminally inflated price for a relatively straightforward job - I was offered a "BG Fuel/Air Induction Service" for $230. My car has a port injected engine, not a direct injection engine, making this service entirely unnecessary. Once again if you don't know anything about cars, this is like offering to put sunscreen in your hair to preserve it. Complete nonsense. This offer was either a clear upsell or a display of utter incompetence - They recommended a full cooling system replacement for $570. Despite being the correct color and showing no signs of contamination, the mechanic implicated that the coolant and hoses were degraded and should be replaced - Transmission fluid drain & refill quoted for $288. This one is not as ridiculous as the spark plugs but still an inflated price. - I was quoted $85 dollars for a cabin air filter replacement, which is a $10 part and a 5 minute job. Above are only the most egregious examples of the unreasonably high prices I was quoted for nearly every item. Please note that the vehicle in question is a Toyota and parts are not remotely difficult to source or expensive, nor is most of the maintenance particularly difficult to preform. I took a different car here a few years ago for an inspection and even then they came back with several questionable items, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt at the time. I gained absolute certainty that this establishment is to be avoided after I took my car to a different, reputable mechanic who ended up preforming the actual necessary repairs for a fraction of the cost. If you are unable to take your car literally anywhere else in town, be very cautious and get a second opinion before approving any work here. No clue how they have any loyal customers.

I had removed some cosmetic parts from the dash like the glove compartment side panels and kick panels, but I never touched the electrical components. When I brought the truck in, everything was working fine. Expert Auto agreed to finish the job and put everything back together. After spending over $2,300, I picked it up three days later only to find the digital clock and radio didn't work, and the AC wouldn't power on until you drove for about two minutes. When I voiced my concerns, I was told they couldn't confirm everything worked beforehand and that the AC delay was due to the battery being disconnected for several days, insisting the "computer" would catch up and fix itself. Two weeks later, the problem persisted and the AC went out completely. I took it back, and after another inspection, they said they didn't know what was wrong and advised me to take it to a wiring shop. After paying $250 for a wiring diagnosis, I was told the dash needed to be taken apart again--at a cost of over $4,500 with no guarantee of a fix. When I called Expert Auto again, Tim told me there was nothing they could or would do. Now, on a fixed income, I'm left with no AC or heat going into winter, unable to afford repairs, and Expert Auto refuses to make it right. Absolutely horrible service--save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!

On average, an oil change will cost about $100 from the dealership. Being an Uber driver, I decided…read moreto see what else I could get fixed. I've had a heater and radiator cooling fan problem for a year that I'm not going to want to handle anymore. They offered a free estimate and were pretty spot on. The problem was more than an actuator and needed tons of labor. Workhorse Automotive quoted $2,200. There happened to be a cheap part that the 2015 Chevrolet Equinox is famous for. I'm told that the casing around a heater box had a hole around it from being knocked too hard by a random force. This is costly but the problem has been identified to a T. Jiffylube might of helped as much as they could by tweaking the headlight sensor to work at night and not be on during the day. My radiator cooling fan will be a problem I'll have to solve before 95 degree humidity. I'd say I enjoy this atmosphere and couldn't be happier about where my random oil changes will end up next. ...but I enjoy a premium oil change. The more it cost, the more durable the oil is. The more service I can get out of my vehicle. I can't just take my car to a Walmart unless I want to get it straight to my next oil change in the summer. There's just that intuition where my car runs smooth. I could never tell people anything bad about Jiffylube anywhere. What people are saying doesn't seem fair to the business. I've had my share of experience especially when keeping my car up to par in the long run or just to get by a week or month. It's amazing that they have more than one service because I'm into changing my coolant/anti freeze every 30,000 miles now which is a $200 or so job. Can't do that at Walmart but what I can do is spread my money out evenly to make every one happy. Do not go out of your way to avoid this business, please. You wouldn't be doing your car a favor if the health of your car and the people on the road with you waits for the next opportunity. No one is here to provide fake advertisement. We all want the same thing. To be included in a community of good business ethics.

I was told it was unsafe to drive my car home after being presented with multiple quotes for parts and repairs resulting in an astronomical amount of money. As a young woman, I felt very taken advantage of and had to rearrange my day spending additional time addressing inexistent issues.
