What a gorgeous property ! Stayed with our friends in their RV for a Friday and Saturday night so we didn't have to drive all the way home from the Gator game. We didn't use the pool but I did walk around and enjoyed the quiet. The neighbors seemed friendly, some with pets! I look forward to staying here again. read more

We arrived a couple days ago and leave in a week, total 9 day stay. So far so good. The RV park is very clean and well maintained. The sites are a little tight/close, but for 9 days I'm not going to complain. The people are nice. We're in the middle of beautiful horse country, but between two cities of civilization. It seems there are a lot of campers coming and going, but being that this park is close to I75 it makes sense. I'm not sure how many amenities we'll use this week because it rained today, supposed to rain again all day on Monday. We'll see and I'll update this review if anything changes. read more

The park is awesome! The exercise room has spin-style cycles and a rowing machine so I could workout with my Peloton app. This is the first campground that I've been to that had these bikes. Our RV club held a rally here and there was plenty of room and we had the use of a clubhouse as well as all the amenities. We had a great time! read more

ONRV Resort is no resort. Wi-Fi is weak to nonexistent throughout the park and cuts out completely several times daily, Basic cable offered without an ABC station, also frequently goes out. Currently beginning 4th week of unsafe drinking water, water must be boiled or drink bottled at our own expense No bottled water offered, nor propane reimbursement, no rent reduction. Entire park is built on sloping hills, sites are very narrow and unlevel side to side. Door sides with need from 4-12" build up which make your bottom step very high in air. Many sites flood out with rain, drainage is poor in many areas of park. This resort is NOT kid-friendly. While there are 5 large dog run areas, there is no play structure or playground area for kids. All kids under 18 have to be accompanied by a parent when off campsite. One 12yr old girl was reduced to tears by a female staff member as she walked quietly from pool to campsite without a parent. While kids are allowed in the pool, it is not encouraged. Heated pool is small and crowded. There are chairs around deck area but get there early as they get 'saved'. They also provide a large audience for twice weekly water aerobics. Park is not gated and there is no security. All dog breeds are welcome and leash rules are not enforced. Laundry facilities are clean but beware the dog hair and worse in washers. Park is located alongside I-75, with truck stop on other side of freeway. Traffic noise is constant and loud. New owners are a corporation. Rents were raised dramatically in June of 2023 after being assured this would not happen. A nonrefundable deposit of your last month's rent is held. There has been no improvements and little maintenance of infrastructure. After losing many residents in January, rates were lowered for some sites for 2024-2025 season but raised even higher on others with a willy-nilly sliding scale of desirability. There is no map available to identify which site is which. They will "let you know". In January a notice was sent out of a $15 per day, per person visitor charge. This is new. This used to be such a pretty, well-maintained park under the previous owner. Now with fewer employees it is not kept up. Employees, whether in person or by phone are rude, unhappy, and unfriendly. It is located halfway between Ocala and Gainesville with no attractions nearby. After several years here, we're sad to say we're not returning. There are many other parks in the area to choose from. read more

State-Of-The-Art RV Resort! Hands-down one of the best we've ever been to in our 30+ years of full-time RVing. Ocala North RV Resort, and the owner, Sean, hosted our volunteer group of 8 when we needed a place to stay while performing in area prisons, halfway houses and detention centers in the Spring of 2021. The location was perfect for us, since we needed to come and go from the park 4-5 times a week and could easily access the I-75. Sean could not have been more kind and accommodating, setting us up with two huge sites facing each other for our vehicles that were close to the roomy clubhouse (which they opened to us for rehearsals) and luxury, new, bathhouses. We felt so taken care of and welcomed by all the staff, from the gentleman who helped park our rig to the ladies at the office who received all our mail and fielded our questions during our stay. The resort itself is very well-maintained, with a ton of amenities. There's a gorgeous pool, pickle ball courts, bocce ball courts, horseshoes, and some nice green spaces for walking and sitting under the enormous shade trees. All the rec equipment is easily accessible in a shed right by the courts, making for some fun rest afternoons for our crew. RV hookups are all fantastic, power is super solid, water pressure is great, and the waste water drop is set up exactly right. There's also good WIFI available through the park. There's also a secondary clubhouse, with tables, a huge TV, games, books...etc., that houses a wonderful laundromat with 8 washers and dryers, folding tables and hanging racks. I was so grateful to have it for washing all our costumes and uniforms after outdoor performances in the humid Florida summers! All-in-all, we were so grateful to everyone at Ocala North RV Resort for giving us a home away from home and the perfect place to rest and recover! This place is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Lots of on-site amenities and rec rooms. We stayed going to and coming from Disney. the management was helpful and friendly. It is safe and clean. Just off the highway to be quiet, but easy off and on Interstate 75. They were in the middle of construction on the back while we were here, but noises stopped at appropriate time. The only thing we had to figure out was where to put the trash. the brochure hadn't been updated for the current construction so they were doing pick up at sites. once we figured that out, all good. We would stay again coming this way. read more

The new corporate owners suck! We and many others were here when it sold and got totally screwed on costs! We were told we could leave our camper for the summer and paid the 75.00 a month for storage in advance. We were held up till Dec 5 due to medical reasons and now it cost 350.00 for the month of November?!?! No loyalty to the people that have been here for years! Corporations suck! I asked 3 times what the monthly cost would be to stay here and not 1 person gave me a price! Wth! All past campers are being blackballed!! Always clean, newer RV resort with all the amenities you would expect and more! Most sites are pull through which is awesome and they have a ton of shaded sites and tons of space if you need no shade for your Starlink! Staff were welcoming and competent and the RV resort takes great care of the grounds very meticulously. Since our visit last year, they have recently installed a bunch of brand new sites. 100% recommend! read more

I've have full time lived here for about 3 months this Rv park has friendly people, amazing amenities, mostly quiet with light sounds of tragic, and is dog friendly with any type of dog they have many dog parks for your dogs to make friends or let out their energy. Ok, this park used to be nice but since it's under new ownership, they've clear cut trees and stuck a bunch more sites in between the original camp sites. The workmanship is so flawed that the concrete pads are already cracking after being placed less than a year ago. There are cables running outside all over the place (a real hazard for us old folks). Tacky. We were thinking of coming back for the winter but with the clear cutting of trees, fires for getting rid of the debris, airboat noise from trying to disperse the smoke and the constant roar of heavy equipment driving in and out as they attack the land to squeeze in a lot more concrete pads...no way!! This will be an "express" type of RV park where RVers just roll thru for one night on their way to a destination resort. It will never be a "destination" RV Park because they are wrecking it. PS. Confirmed Covid cases and loud construction noises. Rarely do I ever write a bad review but this place is an exception. We checked in to this RV campground and there were 4 employees in the office. None were wearing masks. They escort you to your campsite and that gentlemen was not wearing a mask either. The first campers we saw walked up to us from site 38 ( no masks) and told us the campground was having an outbreak of covid. Their neighbors at site 58 had been sick over 10 days. I overheard the woman in the site across from us describing her symptoms to another camper ( no mask) and then went to laundry in the public laundry. Bottom line- we did not go there to get sick and the campers with covid were not quarantined or wearing masks. We asked the management why we had not been told and they had no response. We left early with no compensation to the days we had paid for. You should also be aware that they are adding over 200 new campsites. Construction noises and beeping machinery starts at 7:30 am and ends at 6:00pm. Even on Christmas Eve- there was noise until 3pm. They have removed so many trees you can hear I-75 traffic 24 hours a day. The pool has been closed for construction fir several months. read more

Here for 10 weeks for a clinical rotation. Located in the middle of Ocala and Gainesville - about 15 minutes from each. 5 minutes from I-75. Super quiet and clean RV Park. Clean pool that our teenagers spent many days at. Wifi and cable are included. Electric is paid separate from rent. Laundry facilities are great - newer clean machines. Rec room with pool table, puzzles and books. Club house next to pool for potlucks and such. Dog friendly with a small dog run and a walking trail. Most of the people here are quite a few years older than us. Few kids/teens around. Spanish moss everywhere. Did I mention how quiet it is? We couldn't have picked a better place. read more

Stayed there in our toyhauler for the whole month of Feb. 2018. Very good experience for us as first time Snowbirds. Not the fanciest place but very clean and friendly. Scenery in the park was truly beautiful. Quiet even though it is just off Hwy. 65. Had a great time in the area riding our Goldwing for our sightseeing. The Ocala North RV Park is an aesthetically pleasant little RV park. The tall trees shade the area and keep your RV nice and cool in the Florida heat. The pool is also a positive. The trees, however, make it nearly impossible to get a satellite reception. If you have an automatic satellite that searches on its own, it will not be able to find the signal whatsoever. Your only chance of getting a signal is manually, which I do not have. Luckily for the sports fan, they have basic cable available, with local channels and ESPN. So, you will at least get locally aired NFL and college football games. Not quite NFL Sunday Ticket, but it will do. The big negative is their bathrooms/comfort stations. They were absolutely disgusting. I've seen prison bathrooms cleaner than these. Firstly, the toilet stalls were falling apart. One stall was so badly damaged that the door would not even close, much less lock. One of the urinals seemed to be in a constant state of out-of-order. The showers were the worst. Nasty, brownish rust colored stains lining everything from the ceilings to the floors. The ceilings also have holes in them with visible spider nests inside of them, and the heating lamps in the ceiling had pieces of ceiling falling to the floor from around them. The middle shower also had a disgusting white moldy substance literally growing up from the floor. The water also smelled like what I assume Flint, Michigan's water currently smells like. Overall, the park itself is a nice place, but basic hygiene is not enjoyable if you're in a situation where you have to use their comfort stations like I did. read more
