From the moment you walk in you feel comfortable and welcomed. My son is currently taking the kids Krav Maga Wingz program and loves it so much! Surprisingly, he even wakes himself up for his Saturday morning class! My son's confidence, motor skills, self motivation and all around physical activity level has sky rocketed. Besides for the benefits I have already seen in my son he is learning fighting survival skills that will benefit him for the rest of his life! My daughter and my youngest son will be starting their classes too soon. And for me, I will absolutely be starting the adult classes soon. So the truth is this place advances kids before they actually hit the mark and they take every…read morepenny they can get.....my son started with this program about 5 months ago he loved it ... Then they sent home a belt test that i thought was optional ....it was not ...my son did not know the moves and fumbled thru them and was rewarded not with a color up but 2 color ups!! He was supposed to go to a white with a yellow stripe but was advanced to just yellow "because of his hight" hes tall ...but still didnt know basics ...then his grandfather died after i paid junes bill he only attended 1 june meeting because he had to make a funeral i asked them to stop the next months payment rhey acted like they was doing me a favor even though he was not going to be there!!! They stopped payment till august (i stopped payment on my end because previous talks to the establishment proved fruitless) i contacted them and was very honest about my sons situation to which i got an email encouraging him to come back ..i brought him back and that session they had started 15 minutes early ...contrary to the schedule they hand out ... He attended 30 minutes in august then started school.... He attends the avid program and has youth group commitments i tried to message the martial arts ...the front lady will not let me speak directly to the instructor and even though i have proof he has attended 2 meets in 3 months and ive payed 250$ all together they were unsympathetically rude and i was shocked i do feel it is more the lady at the front desk ..when i talk to the instructor himself he tells me to disregard her ...how professional... At this point we know they are pushing belts on kids who are not ready and there is no interaction with the kids except wjth the you g blonde he has doi g the actual practices ...wish i couldve saved 250$ my son said he feels like he learned nothing......great!

Mr. Joiner has a lot of infectious energy, focuses on positive reinforcement, and most importantly has a solid foundation in Jesus and isn't afraid to share throughout class. Miss Christina is also great as she assists with class and covers when Mr. Joiner is out. If you're looking for your kid(s) and/or yourself, and want a solid study in martial arts, self-defense, discipline, respect, and Godly character, this is it and more.
