Best newborn and baby photographer in Orange County! Ashlynn and Jeff have created a beautiful home studio where nothing short of magic is created at every photoshoot! I wanted newborn photos of my baby girl, but I did not realize there was an "optimal" time to do so and my little angel was outside that window.. I was literally rejected by 3 newborn photographers since my baby was "to old"! I reached out to OC newborn half heartedly, fearful of yet another rejection and ready to give up when Ashlynn agreed to shoot my little angel the next day since she had a cancellation! I was almost in tears when I hung up the phone and told my husband. The next day we arrived at the studio thinking "my baby is to old so she won't be able to pose like this or like that..." and oh man we're we in for a treat, non only my baby was calm and "flexible" but we had an amazing experience! The studio was clean, very organized and welcoming. Ashlynn and Jeff were professionals and so much fun to get to know, and until today I am at still in awe when I look at the images that now decorate almost every room in my home, and I can't wait to go back for the 6 month session and then again for my baby 1 year session! read more

I really can't say enough good things about Ashlynn!!! She is amazing!!! She is so warm, friendly and personable (it's like having a good friend take your family's photos)! The entire process of working with her, from start to finish, is seamless. She is so on top of everything and we were blown away with the photos. Between the toddler tantrums and newborn cries we thought we would get maybe one or two good photos and we ended up loving all of them! We can't wait to recommend Ashlynn to family and friends! read more

We absolutely loved our experience with OC Newborns! The proofs were sent to us so quickly after the session and they were beautiful! We found it hard to pick from all of them! Quick turn around from proofs to finished product as well. We can't wait to display these photos in our house. Highly recommend. A++ read more

Ashlynn did an amazing job on our newborn photos. During the photoshoot my husband and I were both very impressed with her from the way she was able to move our baby from one pose to the next, being very gentle and not waking her, to having everything available to get baby back to sleep, i.e.white noise, nice warm room, etc. I even had to nurse my baby for a bit and she made me feel very comfortable. She has so many different outfits, props, bows to choose from which made for such a fun shoot. My 3 yr old son was also there for the shoot and she was very patient with him. We are so happy with the way the photos turned out. Would definitely recommend Ashlynn. read more

OC Newborns - Such great shots and so easy to work with! Thanks Ashlynn! - Session Photography Near Me

Ashlynn is FANTASTIC!! We absolutely love the photos she took of our 8 day old son! She was extremely patient in those feeding and diaper changing moments.... And she really spent time comforting our son as she positioned him for the photos. Her studio has many options for parents to choose their style and she was willing to work with any props or preferences we had for specific photos we wanted. Not to mention that she had the proofs ready for view within a couple of days. And once we made our selections for purchase, we had the photos two days later. Truly exceptional!!! I highly recommend her for any newborn or milestone photos! Thanks again Ashlynn! read more

I brought my son in when he was around three weeks old, right after we left the NICU. He is colic and very gassy but Ashlynn remained patient and calm throughout the session. We were able to get our images in time for Christmas cards, thanks again for the quick turn around time. We will see you again at the 6 month mark! read more

Ashlynn is an amazing photographer!! She took newborn photos of my baby girl when she was 10 days old. She was gentle and calm with her for the entire photo shoot. I could tell that she really knew what she was doing. I trusted her 100% with my baby. My baby girl slept through the entire thing while Ashlynn changed her outfits and put her into position. She has a beautiful home studio and has so many different outfits headbands colors and props to choose from. When I was first talking with her through email she asked what our nursery theme and colors were so when we got there she already had a few things picked out that she thought we would like. We got the photo proofs back and it was so hard to pick which photos we wanted to purchase because we liked them all! Finally I submitted my order. She emailed us the edited images about a week later and when I saw the edited photos I cried. They were so beautiful and captured a newborns innocence and sweetness so perfectly. All of my family members cannot believe how great the photos turned out. If you have a newborn trust me on this one and have Ashlynn take your pictures! read more

Ashley is the best photographer for newborns and babies! She took such wonderful pictures of my daughter's first year of life and we will treasure them forever. She has a ton of props, hats, headbands, backgrounds etc so you will be sure to get the exact pictures that you want. Sometimes I wasn't sure what look to go for and Ashley was very helpful in giving advice and setting things up so that we had lovely photos no matter what. I thought we would only have newborn pictures done but after seeing how beautiful they turned out I had to get more! 4 months, 7 months and a cake smash shoot later and we are super happy parents that love to show off our pictures. I can't recommend Ashley more, book her for your own baby! read more

Ashlynn is wonderful!!! She was so patient with my little man who was refusing to fall into a deep sleep. I was so stressed- I had to feed him twice- but Ashlynn was so sweet and understanding and worked her magic to still get those amazing shots where he looked like he was in a peaceful slumber (even though he was not)!! She has so many awesome props too! I could not have asked for a better photographer. You will want to book her for your precious baby's photos-you won't regret it! read more

AMAZING. Ashley, owner of Ashlynn Marie Photography, is the most gifted newborn photographer ever. After having the disappointment of another photographer flaking out on me the day of my original newborn session, I contacted Ashley on a Wednesday and she was able to get me and my baby in on that Friday! Unbeknownst to me, newborn pics should be taken between days 1-10 of your baby's life. My baby was already 6 weeks at this point (oops) and was not cooperative. She literally alternated between going postal and passing out the whole time. Ashley was so nice, understanding and patient and was able to capture images at just the right moment between the chaos. Everyone comments on how my baby looks like an Anne Geddes baby in her pics and looks so peaceful and innocent. Only Ashley and I know the truth about how much of a rascal my baby was that day!! :) Thank you for being a true professional. read more

I drove all the way from Anaheim Hills to have Ashely take my photos. She is so talented and all her work is so beautiful! From the moment I walked into her studio, I felt at ease, her studio is beautiful! And the amount of props to choose from was so fun and more than I ever expected, honestly, I was more blown away by how Ashley posed all these different photos, she is definitely a natural at this and knows what she is doing. Not only is she a talented newborn photographer, but she has an absolutely amazing heart and warm personality that made me feel right at home. When I finally saw the finished photos I was stunned by how beautiful they were, seriously her work speaks for itself, just take a look at her newborn photos! read more

We've been using Ashley for both our children and their milestone pictures for years. We first started with Ashely when our oldest was a few months old and we've loved her work ever since. We now have 2 children and we recently did a photoshoot with both kids. I was nervous about my active toddler and my wiggly 4 month old but they pictures turned out AMAZING. We love every single picture and getting sibling pictures isn't easy! Her attention to detail and talent behind the camera shines with every photoshoot. We will be using her for as long as she lets us for every milestone and birthday pictures. We recommend her to all our friends (literally) and we're so happy to find such a great photographer with the family. read more

You definitely want Ashley as your newborn photographer!! Our son was barely 6lbs when we did our first session with Ashley and I was so impressed with how thoughtful and meticulous she was with each pose that she chose. She is like the baby whisperer! And the pictures were so beautiful!! We loved them so much that we came back every few months for a "Watch me grow" series so Ashley could continue to document our son's first year. Each time I was amazed at the images she captured - especially when he started not wanting to sit still! I always left thinking there was no way with all that moving around that she would be able to get any good shots of him and each time I was happily surprised at the images she was able to beautifully capture. She is a very talented photographer and we will forever cherish the photos she created for us. Thanks Ashley!! read more

Booking a newborn photo session is a very big deal! We have a photographer that we used for most of our life events but she has moved to Florida and so we needed to find a new photographer to take these pictures. I asked that photographer to look on instagram and find someone that she would recommend based on their work. Ashlynn (OC Newborns) was among her top 3 choices for newborn photographers in all of orange county. I trusted her opinion and booked OC newborns right away. We were not disappointed with that decision. She immediately made my family very comfortable. She was professional and so nurturing to our daughter. She clearly knew what she was doing. My daughter was fussy and awake for most of the session but you wouldn't know it from the photos. Ashlynn captured so many beautiful pictures, not all the crazy faces my daughter was making. Ashlynn spent time with us and was patient and understanding. She accommodated my requests and welcomed my opinions on color schemes and accessories. She has a million little accessories! It was like shopping on etsy! She provided the proofs within a reasonable amount of time and once we made our purchase, she was done editing quickly. The pictures came out beautiful! I look at them often and we know they will hold a special place in our hearts. Overall, we would highly recommend using OC Newborns for your babies photos, we are planning on booking Ashlynn for our smash the cake session! read more

Ashlynn is just SO talented! Taking newborn pictures requires a lot of experience and skill and patience and she has it all :-) Her new studio is amazing. She has so many backdrops and props. She pretty much has everything you can find on etsy and more! We are so happy with all of our pictures. It was really hard narrowing down the images we wanted to purchase. She did such a good job capturing our little one's personality. There really is no comparison between her pictures and many other newborn photographers. She really has the "touch" with the babies and of course the camera. I think her work speaks for itself. Worth every penny! read more

My experience with OC Newborns was nothing shy of incredible. From the ease of scheduling the appointment to actually taking the pictures had me impressed. I was worried how the photos would turn out because my baby is very colicky and fussy but Ashley was very patient with him and the pictures turned out so so good! I will definitely be returning to take some other milestone pictures when my baby is a little older. Highly recommend! read more

Jeff and Ashley shot our engagement photos in Laguna Beach. They put our photos online for us to see within 5 days and the photos looked AMAZING! We purchased a CD of all photos with 30 enhanced images and printing rights to all images! I was blown away with a personalized casing that had photos all around the case from our engagment shoot! It was a very nice finishing touch that leaves a memorable impression forever! They provide excellent quality service and have been very responsive from day 1. In my experience, they have tailored my wedding package to fit my needs and are very budget friendly in Orange County, CA. read more

My fiance and I absolutely loved shooting with Ashlynn and Jeff! Not only did our engagement photos turn out wonderfully, but we had so much fun taking them. They weren't afraid to go beyond the typical poses and take artistic and interesting shots, which really came out beautifully. We were so afraid that the weather would ruin our shoot -- it was drizzling and got dark really early -- but as long as we were willing to keep shooting they kept coming up with ways to make our shots look great. Ironically, some of our favorite photos came out of the bunch that were after dark simply because Ashlynn and Jeff were able to manipulate the light so beautifully! Also, we were so surprised at how excited they were to work with our theme. A week or so before our session we mentioned that we wanted to go in a 40's/50's direction and they blew us away with how prepared and excited they were for it! Even when my fiance's father offered that we use his classic car for the shoot at the very last minute (literally, halfway through our session!) Ashlynn and Jeff immediately jumped on the opportunity and the shoot was so much better for it. Overall, we were really impressed with how professional, relaxed and innovate they were willing to be when we could have been so worried that everything was going wrong. Needless to say, we have already asked that they photograph our wedding and cannot wait until then! I definitely recommend them 100%! :) read more
