Given the amount of fruit and vegetables grown in the sunshine state I am often disappointed at the quality of what is available for us to buy in Brisbane. I'm a big fan of visiting my local farmers market but sometimes it's not an option.
I tried Oboys for the first time at the beginning of this year and have to say I was quite happy with the produce they have. There is always some good specials but equally whilst you may pay a little more than the local supermarket the standard is much better in my opinion. It lasts longer, and appears healthy when I'm buying it.
The added surprise for me was discovering they have a great continental deli selection. Cheeses, meats & dry goods with a good selection and some unusual products. They have a selection of local and imported options including Roquefort & Parmigiana Reggiano.
