Got all of my prenatal care for my first pregnancy done here, and coming back for my second baby. The only negatives I've ever had are some occasional rude-ish ultrasound techs, but the doctors and nurses are TOP tier, I love them. Dr. Kim was my OBGYN, but she has since moved to be a full time laborist at Riley. She was as personable and kind as they come. Everyone in this office is so pleasant and supportive, I'm so happy to be coming back for baby #2.

If you are not wearing a mask they will give you one. To get to SUITE 400 from the front entrance there is an elevator straight ahead. With renovations completed last summer, it is not nearly as difficult to find. Look at the directory on the main floor and make sure you take the correct elevator - not all roads lead to Rome (err, I mean not all elevators lead to the ob-gyn). The new building + office space is swanky and new. On my visits, I've never had to wait too long for my appointment, although that isn't always the case once you're in the exam room. That's unfortunately to be expected at a doctor's office, but it's not nearly as bad as the stereotypical wait time. The staff here has the entire process down to a science like a smooth-operating machine. However, this can sometimes make it feel more like a factory than a personal experience. That being said, I've always been pleased with my doctor (Dr. Flora) and she has answered all my questions and made sure I understood everything. She makes me feel comfortable (as comfortable as you can at the ob-gyn) and I would recommend her and WHA.

Booked first appt after birth with ease. Every step of the way after that has been difficult & unprofessional. They never answer the phones. I'm not being dramatic, not once in eight months have I been able to get anyone on the phone. They advise to book within the portal. ANYTIME I submit a request, it's a delayed response. 8 days ago, I called, no answer. Sent a portal message explaining it was an urgent medical matter that I felt she needed seen for that day. The contacted me back today, 8 days later. I 10/10 do not recommend. If you prefer a more holistic approach with peds that don't push vaccinations, there are other much better offices than this.

There are multiple locations around central Indiana, and many of the staff bop from one office to another. I typically schedule my routine well-woman visits with Adrienne Hoagland, who is a nurse practitioner with this practice and is the literal best. Her attitude toward everything is very matter-of-fact and positive, and she always puts me at ease. I've been seeing her for many years, so she knows my history and remembers things that I've told her at past visits. I am not in the market for an obstetrician anymore (thank goodness), but for all of my gyno needs, this will be my go-to practice.

I initially had an OB that I did not click with and decided to change to Dr. Colvin half-way through my first pregnancy. Can I tell you that she is the most amazing woman EVER! When you are opening other people up into a vulnerable space, like pregnancy, you want to be sure that you are taken care of and that's what she does. Dr. Colvin is so knowledgeable and she feels more like a friend than a doctor. She was there for me throughout both of my high risk pregnancies!!! She made sure I was on track and encouraged me every step of the way. Every time I had an appointment, she would let me know that I was doing a great job! I hope to have every pregnancy with her (don't tell my husband I said that, he wants to be done having kids but with an OB like Dr. Colvin, you kinda want a reason to keep going back, lol). Lastly, the ladies in the office are amazing! They are kind and they make sure you have everything taken care of. This was my first appointment with Dr.Travis Richardson who takes appointments at this AHN office…read moreon Thursdays. His main office is located at IU West Woman's Center at 1111 Ronald Regan Pkwy in Avon. My appointment was scheduled for 10:00 a.m. and I was taken back promptly at 10:00 a.m. That was a pleasant surprise. Dr. Richardson and his nurse were prompt, friendly, professional and thoroughly explained the procedure I was having with visual aids. His bedside manner is very personable and considerate of the patient. I was very comfortable during the entire visit and again, Dr. Richardson covered all the variables I could expect from the procedure going forward. This was only my first visit but my first impression was favorable. I definitely would recommend a first appointment if you're looking for a new OB/GYN on the westside of Indy. I'll be seeing him again in a year.
