He and his wife were very responsive and helpful in getting the quoting process and then scheduling completed in a timely manner. Their prices are very reasonable. And he and his team got the job done very quickly, especially considering how many dead branches needed to be cut off that tree. They also did a great job at removing the dead branches from our yard and then chipping them. His crew did a fantastic job at cleaning up the yard after work, not only raking but also blowing out any debris. Very clean work! I would definitely hire these guys again.

I got four quotes from local companies and Red Pine not only provided the most competitive quote, but the person I worked with, Garret Post, was extremely friendly, honest, and professional. He went above and beyond, and offered to complete all the services I required while some other companies said they would not do the stone removal. I was so absolutely impressed with Garret that I immediately recommended Red Pine to a colleague of mine in need of tree services. I am happy to support a business like Red Pine and I will continue to refer their services and use them for myself when needed.

I am leaving this review to caution anyone from working with JB Custom. I got a quote and was…read moreassured by the person who came out to my house that they would be respectful of my budget and would come up with a quote based on what services I needed prioritized. We agreed on a plan and budget, which included ripping up carpet and laying down LVP flooring, along with drywall repair, paint and installing fans in the bathrooms and repairing any drywall that was damaged as a result of that installation. Before the project started, I asked if the baseboards would need to be removed and was told no. During the process of ripping up the carpet, they did in fact have to remove the baseboards, which was not discussed with me, and I was told they would do their best to keep that extra expense "at cost" and "as close to our original quote as possible." Also, hardwood floors were discovered. I had a conversation with them about what it would mean to refinish the hardwood floors instead of laying LVP and I was told it would save me money. They sent me a "change order" for this, which was roughly $1000 less than my final balance due, so it seemed I was saving $1000. It was an ADDITIONAL 5k. This was not clarified for me until after that part of the project was finished. The entire scope of my project was not complete, because I had to ask them to stop working on the house due to already exceeding my budget, repeated delays, confusion about whether they were hiring an electrician for part of the project, and unfinished work. While I was waiting for clarification on the additional 5K charge, the owner reached out to me to have a conversation about the project - he left a voicemail which I returned. He never tried to call me again. After several conversations with JB, I was told they would refund the cost of the baseboard (their mistake) but they did not offer to make any other adjustments to my total due for work that was completed. I can only come to the conclusion that I was deliberately misled. I agreed to hire them because I wanted to get all of my projects completed at once to save time. I am left with unfinished work that exceeded my budget by a few thousand dollars, and at square one with my bathroom fans and and other finishing work that needs to be done.

Finally, May 2026 made all the arrangements and after receiving what felt like monthly calls or text messages from this company harassing me about scheduling the job, I caved. They quoted me approx $6000 for the total job. After the first few days we immediately saw so many red flags and was disappointed. Olivia, the project manager was rude, unprofessional and did not communicate with her own team and us properly. The crew would arrive at my house asking us what needed to be done. So once they reinstalled new drywall I could not believe how jacked up it was. Nothing was level! I complained and yes they came back to fix everything that I pointed out but what if I didn't say anything? The owner told me he would have given us a discount after all of this and I get the remaining balance sent in an email and Nop, no discount. Next time I need drywall work done I know who not to go to.
