Dr April Rice is an excellent vet Professor Knowledgeable Experienced & I have heard the other vet that she brought on is experienced also but haven't met her in person Unfortunately her front office lacks empathy & inflexible I definitely trust Dr Rice's opinion I had an issue with my 16 yr old chihuahua (emergency er visits over Saturday & Sunday) I was given one appointment time & no other options I wouldn't have made the appointment driving at that time & there was no wiggle room There was no other availability & front office knew it was to discuss euthanasia Fortunately I was able to get an appointment with another experienced vet that I trusted Her front office went above and beyond to make sure my fur baby was able to be seen on my schedule read more

As others have noted this place is not forthcoming with prices-I was unable to get a basic estimate for a neutur appointment for our Pet-(I asked if I could get an estimate or even a range of price and was unable to!) additionally while we just did a physical and establish care at a vet they would not transfer this over and would require a new visit. The establish care visit was mote expensive than our own Dr visits! Definitely about the money here. read more

The $12 dollars refund is not even the issue. What can you get for $12 nowadays!! I had another unfortunate experience months back when two of my small dogs got fleas. I was desperate so I came to Oasis, I couldn't take them into the office so the vet came out for 2 minutes and confirmed my dogs had fleas. For this I had to pay $75 dollars per dog; $150 for 2 minutes. I was told if I don't pay, I can't get their flea medicine!! I asked if I could bring them another time for a full check up and the answer was NO! Months later despite my reservations I had to come back since it's the only place that sees birds in my area. After they sent back the refund of $12 that was not even the point, they sent all my records in the mail and banned me from coming back. Of course they won't say that in this review. I have been a good client for probably over 3 years. It just goes to show you they care about the money first, then your pets!!! read more

Last Wednesday, I unfortunately had to put my beloved Ferret down. I had another appointment set up for Friday with a different vet hospital near me, but my baby started to rapidly decline and I knew it was his time. On Wednesday morning I started freaking out because I was struggling to find a hospital that was able to take him so last minute and I knew he could not wait. Letting my animal suffer did not feel right as sad as I felt and still feel. My mom who lives in a different area than me called her local vet and they referred us to Oasis. I immediately called and the woman who answered the phone (I forgot her name) was so kind to me. She was so nurturing and for the few moments that I spoke with her I knew that my baby was going to be in the right hands. She let me know how sorry she was and got me in for the opening right at 9:30 which worked out perfectly. The drive was about 35 minutes away but I did not mind. It was very straight forward and easy to locate. Once I arrived I felt sick to my stomach. The reality of the situations started to kick in and I knew what was going to happen next as much as much as I tried to feed myself lies and sat in denial for as long as possible. Because of this it did not take long for the tears to take full affect. The women who I spoke with on the phone checked me in and once again assured me that they would have a room available as soon as possible she told me how sorry she was and I could genuinely hear how empathetic she was to my situation. About five minutes I was escorted back to my room and there I was able to have some very sad yet very sweet final moments with my beloved animal. Thankfully my mom was able to meet me there and help me keep it together because I was a mess. She definitely also shed a lot of tears but it was comforting to know that in those moments of such sorrow and sadness I was not alone. About 10 minutes after I was originally shown to my room Dr. Rice came in and when I say this I do not mean this lightly....... SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Right off the bat she showed me and my animal such love, compassion, empathy, and care. She answered any and all questions I had and she assured me that this was the right thing for my animal. She gave me my time with my pet and she explained to me what was going to happen and made sure I was comfortable. Once I was ready she took my ferri and held him close in his blanket in from home and took him to the back. I did request that I saw him again once he was at rest because I wanted to say my final goodbyes. A few minutes passed and she brought him in to me to say goodbye to and as sad as I was I knew that he spent his last moments in the right hands. I am sure as you can imagine I am in tears at this point (which is correct). Dr. Rice stayed in the room with me and assured me how great of a mommy I was to my ferri and how I did the right thing which was honestly so comforting to hear and in that moment I did not know how much I needed to hear it until it was said. To top it all off I did want to mention that yesterday when I got home from work I went to my mailbox to grab my mail and in there was a letter from Oasis. I honestly did not know what to expect so I quickly opened the letter and inside was a handwritten letter regarding the passing of my ferri in which all of the staff members and Dr. Rice took the time to sign and even put my pets paw print on it. When I tell you that once again I was in tears I am talking water falls. It was so sweet and meant so much to me that they took their time to show me such love and understanding. It meant the world to me. I have never left a review like this before because I feel like now a days I am honestly not impressed by much but they impressed me in ways I did not know was even possible. Not to mention the office itself was very calming and beautiful. After my experience with Oasis all around I rate it a 10000/10 and will not be taking my animals anywhere else I honestly never want to go to any other animal hospital. THEY ARE SO WONDERFUL AND GENUINE and I know my pets are in great hands. I encourage everyone to go to Oasis. Dr. Rice and the entire staff are so nurturing and loving. read more

I absolutely love Oasis!! Dr. Rice and her staff are so kind and loving to our dogs and to us. Everytime I call they are sweet and care about what I want an appointment for. Then when we get there, they take us back almost immediately. Dr. Rice is so loving and gets on the floor and plays with the dogs. The Vet Techs are loving towards them also. THEY KILLED MY GUINEA PIG. Guinea pig came out of surgery fine but was not eating. Called the next day, staff put me on hold to talk to the vet, and they said to come and pick up special food. Picked up the food but they did not give me any instructions or syringe to use. Called two days later because he still wasn't eating, put me on hold to talk to the vet and was told that it was supposed to be fed with a syringe. Too late by then. But the absolute kicker to this entire thing is that when the office manager called to apologize, she said the front office staff could not give medical advice! It was follow-up care to surgery where they put me on hold to talk to the vet. It is literally a veterinarian's office which dispensed special food that was directed by the vet and they put me on hold to talk to the vet! Then had the audacity to be upset because I said "are you f'ing kidding me" - after their absolute incompetence caused this poor animal to be in distress for 3 days. read more

I have had several different medical issues with my dog and they have always been able to get me in pretty quick and have been so sweet and accommodating to my girl who is terrified of the vet and of new people In general.
