This is the only store in the area where you can get a women's swimsuit for less than $85…read more My husband and I had an issue with our flight where our checked luggage made it on the plane to go home, but we did not (airline issue.) We only had our carry-ons and the clothes on our backs. My husband and I needed some clothes and we decided to stop here because it was within walking distance of the Grand Hyatt where we were staying. We had stopped at other shops and either women's suits were running $50 per piece for a bikini or more. Luckily I was able to find a two piece swimsuit from Sea Level Swim Australia here for about $70 due to a 50% off clearance sale. My husband got a discounted pair of swim trunks in the $30 range. This store saved the day because I was not about to swim in a hotel in my undies. Visited: January 2023

Nice little surf apparel shop located at Poipu Shopping Village. They sell their own brand as well…read moreas popular surf brands like Billabong, RVCA, etc. After our luggage made the flight but not us (flight issue where we ending up deplaning!), we were left without anything for 24 hours except the clothes on our backs! Came here the next morning to at least find a swimsuit to enjoy the hotel pool for the day. It was about 1.5 mi walk from Grand Hyatt. Upon arrival, I found that due to a 50% clearance sale on certain items that this was the only affordable place in the area to find stuff under $100! My wife got a swimsuit from Sea Level Swim Australia for about 80 bucks (2-piece), while I got Billabong board shorts for $30!! Great deal! And a life saver too!! They also sell t-shirts, Aloha shirts, swim cover-ups, beach blankets, sunglasses, and more!

I…read morehave a hard time justifying spending $60+ for a pair of flip flops and casual shoes, but I do like the quality of Okukai's. BTS has a lot of sizes and styles available. The chance to try on different styles and sizes was a big plus for me. I opted for a very cute pair of slip ons. I was surprised that I needed a half size smaller than what I normally wear. It's a good thing the very helpful salesman was there to guide me to the correct size. My Olukai's are so comfortable and so cute! I also found a very cute pair of mother of pearl earrings! BTS is a touristy store with a bit higher quality (more expensive) touristy things. Note that I found the same shoe at a store in the same center and online for almost $5 cheaper. However, I must say that I wouldn't have known the right size to order online if I had not tried on the shoe, and if I had not had the the help from BTS salesman.

If I could give this store a negative star, I would. I bought my daughter a pair of Olukai ($80)…read moreslippers here, and THREE days later, both sides split, rendering the Sandals unusable. When we went back to the store, salesman Gary Keeth told us that it was company policy to NOT exchange any product, and that we would have to contact Olukai to have the Sandals exchanged. When I explained to him that we only bought the sandals a few days ago, he got very upset and told me that when I bought the shoes, he stated that anything that happens to the shoes has to be handled with the manufacturer. I explained to him that I thought he meant, anything down the road - Not immediately. (He also went on to say that this happens a lot with the sandals as they can't handle the heat.). I asked him why we couldn't exchange the shoes and have the store ship the product back to the manufacturer. He then told me that it wasn't store policy and if he were to do that for me, he would be afraid for his job. Another lady was in the store, and asked him why he just didn't contact the manager and ask her if it was OK to do so. He refused and said if he did that he would be fired, as it was her day off. And if I really wanted to speak to the manager, I could come back when she was working as he wasn't going to help me. He was yelling at me at this point and wouldn't let me speak. Bottom line is, my daughter now has to wait until we get home before she can use her slippers and we can exchange them ourselves. Gary Keeth is a joke and should not be allowed to work here any longer. He's been giving the same sales pitch on how his lady friend bought him Olukais and it changed his life, for too many years now. DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY HERE UNLESS YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU WANT THE PRODUCT, AND KNOW THAT IF THE PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE, THE STORE WILL NOT GUARANTEE THE PRODUCT. YOU WILL BE S.O.L.
