I should have sought legal representation for the pain and suffering this hack inflicted on me! Today my wife went to the office, but at the insistence of me, she had Dr. Cox for her first root canal . She was very impressed with his gentleness and was overall satisfied with the procedure. However, I have a problem with their billing practices! In March 2024. I had my root canal done at the same office and there was no "mandatory 3-D x-ray" charge. However, today, the girl at the front desk insisted that it was mandatory ! I asked her did they have 3-D x-rays 50 years ago when they were doing root canals? She remained quiet. I think it's appalling that they pad their bill $339 for this procedure knowing very well our insurance didn't cover it l! if it was so necessary then why didn't my insurance cover it? Be aware of this in Dr. Tay !

My exam and root canal were just over $1,100, which was already a huge relief. But the real surprise was Dr. Timothy Adams. The procedure took about 45 minutes, using the latest technology and it was basically painless. He said I might have soreness for a couple of weeks. From the time I booked and left my appointment, nothing but great customer service…read more After finding out I had split my tooth in half and needed a bone graph extraction from my dentist, I needed to find an oral surgeon asap with all the pain I had to deal with when trying to chew. Unfortunately, my dentist could not find an oral surgeon who could see me right away. In addition, an oral surgeon who does local anesthesia. My personal choice, I did not want to be sedated esp since I believed this to be a simple extraction. The majority of oral surgeons do sedation, and I was lucky to find this oral surgeon to saw me right away and was able to use local anesthesia. The whole procedure prob took at least 30 minutes. It was quick and easy. They have an updated X-ray machine where you don't have to keep biting down and instead, the one they have is very quick and easy. During the extraction, they had me on a blood pressure monitor to ensure I was ok. I am on day 1 after the procedure and believe it or not, I am not in pain at all. Overall experience, couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the individual answering my phone calls, to the front desk to the dental assistant and surgeon.

They made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and amazingly I had no pain at all afterward. The work they did was excellent. Recently I went back because another tooth started bothering me. We had actually talked about this tooth back in 2024, but I put it off because I wasn't having pain at the time and I don't have dental insurance. Even so, I knew this was the place I wanted to go back to because I trust them. When I came in yesterday, they were once again so patient and caring. Even though it was late, they still took their time with me and treated me like family. Everyone in the office is incredibly kind and makes you feel comfortable during what can normally be a stressful experience. I never dreamed I would ever use those words to describe Oral Surgery -- I am beyond impressed. I arrived at the clinically-clean Henderson facility and was immediately welcomed by the sound of soft cruise/ lounge music and a tropical beach scene displayed on the big screen tv. The office is painted an 'island white' with few distractions, leaving one to focus on the soothing music and beach scene. It's SO tranquil and soothing I almost asked the other patron to dance, and we joked about ordering tropical drinks But no time for play, as I was promptly taken back for my appointment. Protocols are obviously in-place here, and followed to a "T." EVERYONE was on the same page and nobody missed a beat. From scheduling and intake, to pain-free and efficient oral surgery (due to surgeons' years of specialized experience), to post-op instructions and follow-up, I had nothing but confidence in this staff from start to finish. And I'm a dental scaredy cat. Dr. Gibson is so highly skilled that I felt absolutely NO PAIN or DISCOMFORT during the 15 minute extraction of a very well-rooted molar. I was awake and alert the entire time utilizing Nitrous ... laughing gas. No elevated heart rate, no sweaty palms, no fear; just confidence in my surgeon's ability based on tons of amazing detailed reviews. I'm 3 days post-op and STILL zero pain, zero swelling, zero bruising, no infection, no discomfort and NO pain meds (I declined) ... just XS Tylenol and Ibuprofen. I love this dentist! I have been avoiding dentists for a very long time and I will tell you why…read more I broke my teeth a couple times back when I was a little kid some time ago. Ever since then, I do not believe that I have been going to dentists that know what they are doing. The dentist who mended my broken tooth did not do a very good job. Then in the early 90's when my father's insurance was running out, the last dentist made it worse. It was so bad that my tooth was flaking for a few days...they put too much of the filling on my tooth (I did not know this until I came to Green Valley Dentistry). For a while, the stint from the repair from the 80's has just been poking out of my tooth. Each time a dentist saw that, they poked at the metal with their metal pick and turned me into that bat from Fern Gully! So, flash forward to 2025. My mother was freaking out at this stain on my tooth and started talking about cavities. I went on a search for a dentist here and located Green Valley Dentistry. They were the friendliest, so I made an appointment with them. These guys know what they are doing! During my first visit, there were a few x-rays and poking around in my mouth. This did not take long and all of a sudden, "How did you break your teeth?" What?? I forgot there were two broken teeth since I was only focused on one. They were both broken on the playground at school. Next thing I knew, I was booking two more appointments. One for fillings and she said that she could remove that stint from my tooth! I was super thrilled! I was also very nervous since I have not really had a filling since the mid-80's. I returned this week and I cannot tell you how happy I am. I really wish that I got both of their names because Elizabeth and her assistant both deserve so much credit for making this such an easy experience. They both made an effort to make me as comfortable as possible. I thought that this was going to be a nightmare, but Elizabeth did as she promised. She removed that stint from my tooth. She fixed both of the teeth that have looked and felt wonky for quite some time. Oh my gosh, I am such a happy girl! It was such a laid back environment. As they worked on my teeth, they chit chatted and sang. I wanted to be part of the conversation, but you know. I cannot give this dentist enough stars. I recommended them to some random stranger on Facebook because I am that happy.
