Dr. Cox did an outstanding job on my root canal! I was honestly amazed that I had absolutely no pain--even after the Novocaine wore off. He was professional, gentle, and took the time to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I also can't say enough about the amazing office staff. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to make the experience as easy and stress-free as possible. If you need a root canal, I highly recommend Dr. Cox and his wonderful team! read more

I was referred to Dr. Tay by Amber Hills Dental and I have to say this is the worst dental experience I've ever had in my life! Dr. Tay is an arrogant individual. I kept telling him I can feel him grinding on my teeth and he didn't believe me. I finally had to jump out of my chair and ask him WTF are you doing to me? It was only then did he realize I was in severe pain! This man is an arrogant & pompous individual who clearly doesn't listen to his patients! I should have sought legal representation for the pain and suffering this hack inflicted on me! Today my wife went to the office, but at the insistence of me, she had Dr. Cox for her first root canal . She was very impressed with his gentleness and was overall satisfied with the procedure. However, I have a problem with their billing practices! In March 2024. I had my root canal done at the same office and there was no "mandatory 3-D x-ray" charge. However, today, the girl at the front desk insisted that it was mandatory ! I asked her did they have 3-D x-rays 50 years ago when they were doing root canals? She remained quiet. I think it's appalling that they pad their bill $339 for this procedure knowing very well our insurance didn't cover it l! if it was so necessary then why didn't my insurance cover it? Be aware of this in Dr. Tay ! read more

Matthew O Cox, DDS - Bill today ! Same procedure $339.80 more ! The "mandatory 3D X-Ray" - Endodontists Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

Going to see a dentist has always been fear of mine. So first impressions are always important and Matthew O. Cox and Team definitely passed with flying colors. I needed a root canal done and I was hesitate about the procedure because I had another root canal done previously with another dentist in CA and I wasn't able to chew for months. Fortunately, Dr. Tay and Lara was super accommodating and make sure I was doing okay thru out the procedure. I had no issues afterwards and was able to eat the very next day with no discomfort. Huge thank you again to Dr. Tay and Lara! read more

I was referred to Dr. Cox for my husband to get a root canal. First dental work he has had in 54 years. Never even a cavity. He was very nervous about getting this done. I have to say we were both very impressed with Dr. Cox. Not only did he perform the procedure perfectily he also personally called the following day just to check on my husband to see how he was feeling and if there were any questions regarding the procedure. Now that is true customer service!!! I highly recommend Dr. Cox! read more

Great! Fantastic! Dr. Cox is Amazing. Great place. They are really nice and they take really good care of you. Definitely recommend .

Beautiful, clean office. Everyone was super friendly, professional and efficient. Dr Cox exudes confidence.

Dr.Cox and their team exhibited caring behaviors and professionalism. This was my first time ever receiving a root canal re-treatment and I felt completely fine afterwards. I highly recommend this practice for endontonics. read more

Dr Cox is a very caring man. He is honest and took great care of my daughter when she had a rare dental issue. He worked with her oral surgeon and dentist to come up with the best treatment plan. He understood my fears and I can't describe how caring he was, even calling me at home to reassure me. Nice office staff too! read more

Great people doing great work deserve great reviews. I had a root canal with Dr. Cox a couple years ago. It was smooth and practically painless from start to finish. But that's not the reason for my review today (though it probably merited a 5-star review back then). In the last 7 days, I have had two dear friends needing root canals that were told by other places that they couldn't be seen for a week+. I encouraged both of them to reach out to Dr. Cox and his office was able to get them in immediately and they got the care they needed MUCH faster than other offices could provide it. Thank you! I'll keep sending people to Dr. Cox when they need a root canal. read more

Dr. Cox is literally one of the nicest humans I have ever met & his staff is just as great. The entire office has such a attitude all of the time. Dr Cox has THE BEST bedside manner I have ever experienced. He is treating me for a front tooth root canal and it's not going as smooth as some other people have experienced as far as healing right away, but Dr Cox is watching it and treating it and has helped me to understand the entire root canal process. Follow up appointments are easy to schedule & the staff is great about follow up calls to check on me too! He spends time with his patients and EXPLAINS EVERYTHING. I genuinely wish he did general dentistry too so I wouldn't have to go to anyone else. read more

Dr Cox and his whole team were wonderful from the 1st phone call until Dr Cox himself calling to see how I felt. My husband & I have both had root canals with Dr Cox. He takes his time to explain what he is doing & does all he can to keep you comfortable & does a very good job of it. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cox and a returning patient if necessary read more

I just left this amazing office and I didn't want another moment to go by without expressing my gratitude to Dr Cox and his wonderful staff. The young lady who greeted me when I arrived 30 min early at the beginning of the day was not disturbed to see me so early. She was so warm and welcoming (I think her name is Ann but I'm not 100% sure.) The doctors assistant, Marie, walked me through the entire procedure so I felt comfortable. But the main attraction ... Dr Cox ... is awesome at his craft. He assessed my situation, gave me 3 options, and was happy with whatever I chose was best for me. What a concept in 2022 !! Anyway, thank you Dr Cox and your wonderful staff. To anyone out there needing a root canal, run don't walk to this office. You will be in great hands. read more

They did excellent work. Take care of your teeth because root canals are expensive. I would still recommend.

Saw Dr Tay to have a root canal re-done. I was a little nervous but he and his staff were so caring and really took their time with me. He let me take breaks whenever I felt like I needed one. I am so glad my regular dentist referred me here! If I ever need to see a specialist again, I would definitely want Dr. Tay! Wonderful experience!! read more

I had suffered from a seizure and fallen on my face. My front tooth turned purple. After consulting with several different dentists, they all assured me the only option was to get a crown. When I saw Dr. Cox he was able to restore my tooth with several internal bleaching sessions. I was able to keep my tooth and it looks amazing! It's perfectly color matched. The office dealt with me with a manner of professionalism and kindness that was very much appreciated. I recommend this office to anyone I can whenever I get a chance, you will not be disappointed!! read more

Super friendly and you don't have to wait more than a couple minutes to be taken back to a room! Dr. Cox is extremely professional and did an amazing job on my root canal. He made sure that I actually needed one, which I thought was great. After giving me a shot to numb my tooth, his assistant checked to see if I could feel anything. I could feel a little bit, so I got another shot to be safe. I didn't feel any pain during the procedure. Your jaw will be sore from being open for so long, but both the doctor and assistant kept checking to see if I was okay. The procedure took about an hour. Everyone was extremely friendly and answered all the questions I had. I would recommend Dr. Cox to anyone needing a root canal! Don't be scared! The bad part of a root canal is the pain you have letting you know you need one, not the procedure!! At least not if it's done by Dr.Cox! read more

I was referred to Matthew Cox DDS from my primary dentist for a root canal. They were able to get my in same day, I left my primary and arrived at Matthew Cox office to finalize my root canal. The lobby was clean and the staff was very personable. I went in for my initial exam and assessment, the dental assistance was very pleasant and accommodating. I had a lot of anxiety about my root canal and asked for ear plugs as my phone had died and I was concerned about doing the procedure with the drill noises and almost rescheduled to avoid it. His staff provided me a phone charger which allowed me to have my music during my procedure. I met with Matthew Cox and he was very informative and gentle in his approach. He put my anxiety at ease and let me know that we can stop anytime if I wanted to walk around or take a break. let me tell you something, this experience probably saved my tooth. If anyone knows what its like to have dental anxiety you probably know what its like to leave and wouldn't put it off for months... Or years. thank you Matthew Cox and team for helping me conquer my fears and being so graceful with your patients! read more

I went to Las Vegas for two days and had to have an emergency root canal (lucky me). I was referred by a general dentist (Dr. Capener at Aspire Dental - also great) and wasn't disappointed. It was painless and quick. I highly recommend if you have to have a root canal. read more

I was referred to Dr Tay by our dentist for severe tooth pain with an unclear cause. After the appropriate exam and x-rays his recommendation was a root canal. It was performed on the same office visit and I am eternally grateful. Dr Tay uncovered and treated an abscess that was not seen on the prior x rays. The procedure was painless and 24 hours later I am pain free. He even called to check on my status. He was very kind and compassionate and a skilled surgeon. I unhesitatingly recommend Dr Tay if an endodontist should ever be needed. His staff was also very kind, friendly and attentive. read more

I am very lucky that I am in my late 40s and I have never had dental pain until two weeks ago. Holy cow! Who knew something could hurt so bad! My dentist referred me to endodontics by Dr. Cox and Dr. Tay. Luckily, they were able to get me in within 48 hours for an urgent root canal. I've had numerous fillings and crowns over the years. This was by far the best most pain-free procedure I have ever had! I truly had NO PAIN! I could have fallen asleep in the chair. My hat is off to Dr. Tay and Lara! read more

I was so anxious and nervous to get my root canal done - but Matthew Cox has sincerely mastered his craft and has the ability to put his patients at ease. Dr. Gates forced me to go to Dr. Cox for a root canal on tooth #30. Dr. Cox intentionally does a faulty root canal on me after Dr. Gates called him. Dr. Cox also asks me if I need pain pills for after the procedure? Dr. Gates called Dr. Cox to set me up as a drug-seeker so he could abandon me for it. Dr. Cox used a temporary cement to cover the root canal, and now I have a cavity in #30, and I now need a root canal in #31 as well... Dr. Cox is a corrupt greedy hack who should have his licensed revoked. read more

I went for a root canal and was terrified. Dr Cox is a great dentist. He did an excellent job. He is very nice. There was zero pain.

The team there saved my life. I never had the worse pain, tooth issue and infection that came overnight. I was able to call in early on a Monday morning and they got me right in and made me comfortable. The procedure went great and was very very happy. Then the next day, they actually care and called to check in on me which shows a business that is very caring about clients and service! I would recommend them for any Service they provide! read more
