I was greeted by sales representative, Jeff Morrison who immediately impressed me with his knowledge of flooring and his ability to assess my needs and quickly identify a quality product line for selection. Later that day, he attended my residence to determine the necessary square footage required and promptly provided me with a quote, which I accepted. On the date of installation, the "Carpet Guy" team arrived promptly, were knowledgeable, professional and worked with efficiency! This whole experience went "smooth as silk" which I attribute to the conscientious customer focused approach by all involved. In an era, where many people simply do just enough to get by, these fellows set a standard for others to follow! My thanks for a job well done!

The only problem that time was they didn't measure correctly and left us with tack strip exposed on our stairs for several days. This time, I had to continuously be the person to contact them for an update. Also, after one date was cancelled because I was working a night shift, the salesman never contacted the installer to cancel. They showed up and woke me. The installed then asked if he could come the following Saturday to do the install to which I agreed. After waiting until noon, on Saturday, I contacted the salesman again to see when they were arriving. He said he'd let me know. The installer called sometime later to say that he had made other plans. This again was never communicated. We will look elsewhere in the future. None of this was ever addressed before asking for the final payment, which was the only prompt thing that I didn't have to initialize the conversation on. No apologies nor adjustment of the final cost for inconvenience.

Darryl was incredibly easy to work with at 1st but was just telling me what I wanted to hear. After…read morerecieving damaged/flawed flooring he offered to have it remade but unfortunately that wouldve taken weeks and would have cost more than 100k in office fees, not to mention all the scheduled trades wouldnt be available to finish the project on that timeline. So I had made a suggestion that if we had been compensated for the Hassel I could make the flawed flooring work by installing a herringbone pattern and double cutting the the frayed edging. Keep in mind this would take 3x or more the effort on the installer side of things but we could keep the project on schedule, he wouldn't have to send the carpet tiles back and have them remade, wouldnt have to redeliver the materials, or cover the costs of office rental which was 50k alone for the one work space. So in all saving Floors on Crowfoot a ton of money, the hassle of sending it back and having it remade, enabling them to save face and come out on top. The deal was 15% of the over all flooring to be discounted and given to the installers to cover the extra work load. The agreed upon number was 18k which by all means was an amazing deal for the store and the flooring manufacturers. After the job was installed and completed Darrell cut a cheque for 6k to go to the installers for all the extra work that was involved. Shouldve known better than to trust a salesperson. So buyer beware, Darrell is a liar and a theif and I would never spend a cent in this store. If your looking to purchase flooring go to Jondan's!! When it came to installation, Home Flooring really did a 5 star job. The installers came on time and were very polite. They worked very hard. I was home all day, so I know how many breaks they took. They didn't!! A few things about the install - as they ripped up the carpet, they showed me that my underlay was in very good condition, compared it to the brand new one they had brought in, and suggest I keep the underlay. This saved me a little bit and I appreciate that. When they ripped up the carpet on the stairs, they discovered the carpet was glued onto steel stairs. This meant the carpet had to be glued to all the stairs one by one. This took an extra day for the install - it was what needed to be done and they handled the surprise challenge very well. Finally, I'm a 115lb woman. My biggest concern was moving furniture. They handled everything. I LOVE my new carpet. It feels like walking on clouds and really makes my place feel more luxurious. When I change my hardwood and tile, I will use Home Flooring as well.
