Besides having common Manitowoc friends, we have built up a professional friendship and find her to be the kindest, knowledgeable hygienist that has treated us. He is the only dentist that we have gone to that we have never felt a shot before any procedure! Dr. Jim and his amazing staff make everything go so smoothly that you're done before you know it! I also, had my mother going to Dr. Albrecht's office for 10 years when she moved to West Bend. She just loved going because they treated her like a Queen! She always said, "My teeth never felt better! Where has he been all my life!" STAY AWAY!!! They…read morewere pretty awesome before being bought by another company. I could've fallen asleep during the "cleaning" which included deep cleaning (I hadn't had insurance for a long time). They did push towards a LOT of upgrades the last time I went, wouldn't do the deep cleaning (I was in the middle of changing jobs and had the visit just before my insurance expired). I kept getting a bill from them for $30. I was a dental assistant in my early 20's for about a year. I asked what the bill was for, they said, "The fluoride treatment, your insurance wouldn't cover." I KNOW i refused because I know that I use fluoride toothpaste, brush twice a day and there's fluoride in the water. (Just like "sealants" used to get pushed heavily because kids weren't having as many cavities), but the dentist I worked for one day on a slow day said, "Do you want sealants?" I agreed, then basically lost all of my back molars because of decay that I couldn't feel, bacteria building up underneath the sealants. I KNOW I refused the fluoride treatment, I know it involves little Styrofoam trays/goop. When I called to dispute, the lady was like, "Hold on, let me check with the hygienist and doctor (neither of which were there when I had my last visit). She just simply got back on the phone and said, "No, they both confirmed you had the fluoride treatment." On top of that, they convinced my elderly neighbor to remove all of her teeth, get dentures. She ended up going almost 6 months without any teeth, had to pay $12k up front, then her dentures didn't fit, but they are now charging her each time she goes back to try to have them adjusted/fixed so that they're comfortable for her.

I questioned the costly dental work. I followed up with two second options, one a dentist the second an oral surgeon. BOTH said no way should you have the bridge replaced at this time. I am no longer a patient of SDS. My bridge is fine . My trust in SDS is not. JVC
