This year I had a question for Mark after doing my return and my daughters return. I emailed with no response. I followed up with a phone call and a second email. It took Mark 18 days to get back to me. Unaccectable. I'm a reasonable person and understand "it's the busy season" but at least show a long time customer the courtesy of a quick response even if it's to say I'll get back to you later. Had to take my question elswhere and that sealed the deal.

Then suggested we could pay the tax over 4 years. We have no issue paying it. We would have preferred to know about it a month ago when we were getting our taxes done instead of a week before taxes are due when we got a letter from the IRS. She admitted to her mistake which is appreciated but it shouldn't have been made in the first place when this is your job and you are charging almost $400 for us to file our taxes.

I had an idea how much additional withholdings we would have to send the IRS and FTB, but Tom came in with a lower amounts, which we sent the IRS and FTB. Also, because of the new 2025 S.S. If there were negative stars I would give them. DO NOT and I absolutely mean DO NOT GO HERE…read more.. unless you like being ripped off. I went here with my bf Armando. Oscar did his taxes back in February, his refund amount was supposed to be $4,544 dollars. Armando gave Oscar authorization to deduct $250 for his service which by the was is insane to charge someone that much do do simple short form taxes.... Anyway when Armando received his refund, it was only for the amount of $3,765.05. After Oscars fee that of $250 that leaves $529 dollars missing. Armando and myself have been calling Oscar for the past month and a half. He's only answered our calls a couple of times and given Armando bs excuses and the run around.... After some investigating and hours on the phone with the IRS, they confirmed that Armando did not owe anything in back taxes for 2024 and that they did in fact refund the entire amount of $4,455 dollars. They confirmed that the tax preparer did in fact keep all of that money. Armando has called Oscar, left voice mails, and text messages and Oscar will not respond or call him back, but today when I called Oscar from a blocked number wouldn't ya know, he answeed the call and when I confronted his behavior and what he did, he called me crazy and hung up on me. I will be filing the form 14157a for fraud that the IRS gave to me. Oscar is a con artist and he is stealing money from people. Do not trust him!!!!
