What a great little store for getting home decor for your home. Big enough to find what you need, but not too big to be overwhelming. There are a variety of new and old pieces, handcrafted and antiques, and upcycled items, too. They have a ramp all the way up to the front door so if you are handicapped, this is accessible. It will be hard to look in the individual booths, but the aisles are navigable. Lots of glassware, some jewelry, some furniture and tons of decor items. Truly something for everyone. Prices seemed reasonable and the employees are very friendly. read more

Oak Street Mill is a great little place to satisfy my need of browsing all things old and semi new, and finding that special item I never knew I needed. I can say this place is comparable to the Sleepy Poet down in Charlotte. It's got a bunch of booths with lots of antiques mixed in with stuff that's made to look like antiques. One booth has just a ton of old windows, frames and shutters that are authentic with pane glass. They look like they've been pulled off of some old house in Davidson or Cornelius. Lots of jewelry, keepsakes and glasswares. I particularly liked the sporty/outdoorsy booth in the very front. Oh and this whole place is set up on the second floor of the old mill so the feeling in here is a lot more authentic with the freely wooden floors and brick walls. I will say it's not my thing and the target audience my be older generations into antique interior design and decor. read more

Fun place to take a morning to visit. When you walk into this store, it's a bit overwhelming the amount of items all around you. Very easy to get lost in the shop because there is so much to see and explore. There are individual booths that different vendors own, different vendors with different types of items. From botanical flowers to hunting photos to furniture, it's easy to find a treasure for your home. I will say that some of the booths are better organized than others. Some were difficult to look through because of the clutter, but mostly they were all fun to look through! read more

Walk in and smell the potpourri. The dealer's booth are set up nicely. There is complementary coffee available by the entrance area as you walk in. Really enjoyed walking by the various booths. Place is spacious and one can spend time going into each area and look at the items available for sale. The materials are good quality merchandise and are antiques. Not the cheaply and clunky type of stuff. The prices are very reasonable. The owner is very helpful and just ask her for assistance. read more

It's not the fanciest antique mall, but it did have a good variety of stuff. I'm still not up to or with how to to whom to negotiate prices with. If I was, I probably would have bought a few things. I love to bargain. It's all the fun to me when shopping used goods. I just didn't have the bargaining vibe here. read more

This was a really cute flea shop mall. I pass the sign all the time to and from my daughters music lessons so one day I stopped in. I'm so glad I did. They had a little bit of everything. They had gift shop material stuff and real antique stuff. My favorite was a vendor that only sells Fiesta dishes. I was in heaven! I wish I had more of a budget and I would have left with a car load of dishes. I found my new way to spend my time while my daughter is in lessons. I will definitely be back to start Christmas shopping. read more

Large place with a good variety of antiques and retro items. Very friendly and helpful staff that will drop what they're doing to help you with an item or answer questions. Was struggling with a large item and I immediately had a staff person appear to help me out. Been here a few times while traveling and this place has certainly changed for the better since first opening. Prices are reasonable for the area. Allow a few hours to see it all. read more

The woman at the register was downright rude. By the time my wife and I got out of there we felt like we had been assaulted--it totally ruined our morning. We spent about an hour selecting a few things, and then waited patiently at the register to check out for half an hour while this woman showed some things to the one other customer in the store. She was ten feet away from us, but wouldn't pause to check us out while he looked at things, and she didn't even say "I will be with you in a moment". Then, when the other customer finally made his selection, she told us that she was going to check him out first, and said that it would take quite awhile. WTF?? We were kind of shocked-- she not only ignored us at the register for all that time, now was going to take him to the front register line ahead of us, and wouldn't be able to help us any time soon? We had to be someplace else and couldn't wait any longer, so my wife asked if she could possibly take care of us first, and she looked at us like we were crazy and said that we were rude to ask. Holy Crap!!! We are very gentle people, had said nothing at all to her, so we were blown away by this. How were we rude to ask to be served in order? We asked her to hold our stuff as we would have to come back later. When we did come back, we waited another 10 minutes for her to come to the register, and when she finally did she was either incompetent or was messing with us on purpose-- bottom line, it took her another half hour+ to ring up the five items we selected. Maybe she could have rung up the items while we were away so that we could just pay when we came back? We spent a total of well over an hour standing at that register, with nobody in line in front of us, and she again told us that we had been rude for asking to be checked out before the guy who was still shopping while we were standing at the register. Wow, no apology for treating us like that, just nastiness. The experience put me in a bad mood and wrecked part of my day-- not worth it to be treated so poorly! Will never be back there!!! Selection was ok, but most pricing was high for what they have. STAY AWAY if you want to have a pleasant day! read more

This is a favorite place to wander through. Nice classical music playing. Love the structure, and the creaking floors take me back to my great aunts home. I would have given 5 stars, but the lady that works there seems offended if you ask about an item that doesn't have a tag on it, or you would like to know if a dealer would take less for an item. Ordinarily I would not go back to a place with rude help, but I still drop in occasionally to see what is new. read more
