Beautiful dresser and fancy glassware. Some very unique goods and treasures to be had.

What a great store for treasure hunting! The store is big enough for great selection but not too big that it's overwhelming. I found the prices to be good which made the hunt more exciting! This is a well organized store and not the "garage sale " you see at other antique stores.

I can say this place is comparable to the Sleepy Poet down in Charlotte. It's got a bunch of booths with lots of antiques mixed in with stuff that's made to look like antiques. One booth has just a ton of old windows, frames and shutters that are authentic with pane glass. They look like they've been pulled off of some old house in Davidson or Cornelius. Lots of jewelry, keepsakes and glasswares. I particularly liked the sporty/outdoorsy booth in the very front. Oh and this whole place is set up on the second floor of the old mill so the feeling in here is a lot more authentic with the freely wooden floors and brick walls. I will say it's not my thing and the target audience my be older generations into antique interior design and decor.

Fun place to take a morning to visit. When you walk into this store, it's a bit overwhelming the amount of items all around you. Very easy to get lost in the shop because there is so much to see and explore. There are individual booths that different vendors own, different vendors with different types of items. From botanical flowers to hunting photos to furniture, it's easy to find a treasure for your home. I will say that some of the booths are better organized than others. Some were difficult to look through because of the clutter, but mostly they were all fun to look through!

There's been a lot of talk about Trosa Thrift store around town lately. I've seen it all over…read moresocial media so a friend and I decided to check it out on a Friday afternoon. Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. Just follow the signs.

Brian is a true artist! We had two pieces to refinish for our new house. One was a half oval curio,…read moreover 100 years old with curved glass. The other was a not very expensive oak tv console. It was custom built for our previous house and had worked well. The curio we decided to bring back to close to original with a pecan finish. The console I wanted white washed in a way to still show off the grain of the wood. Both pieces turned out beautiful! We couldn't have asked for anything more. The curio is now the focal point of the dining room. The console looks like a very expensive piece. If/when we ever need to get any other pieces refinished we won't hesitate to call. We give our highest recommendation!
